First time staying here, I really enjoyed this property. It was previously an Embassy Suties, which I was not aware of. So each room is a suite. Again, something I was not aware of, or didn't quite pay attention to when I booked the room. Check in was a breeze, they only do valet parking, and it does cost $35. We got to the room, and I was shocked how big it was. Super comfy couch, with a tv in the living room, a large table with 4 chairs, a bar sink with a fridge and microwave. Decent size bathroom and a door to the bedroom. Bedroom also had a tv. This was a lovely room fun decorations. We did have a drink at the main bar downstairs, the staff was amazing, super kind. They have an indoor pool, and a ton of activites. Yoga by the pool, and movie nights (kid movies) We didn't attend either of these acitivites, but cool that they are offered. We will for sure stay here again.

1. The hotel is so hot in the lobby area it's ridiculous. 2. We couldn't check in until 1 hour after check in at 4. 3. No wash cloths to wash your face4. Room service starts at 11:30 check out time is 11:005. Beds were horrible and you can only get out on one side because the beds are against the wall on one side. We had a handicap room on request. Bathroom was large but no hooks no shelves. It was pretty clean. We had a nice sitting area separate from the beds. The couch is not a pull out. Parking is VALET ONLY $35 a day. Restaurants close at 10pm. Honestly not worth the cost. Pass on this one.

Staff was amazing and the hotel ran like a well oiled machine all the way from the valet parking check-in, etc.Our room was spotless when we arrived. The price was very reasonable.

My main concern when staying at a hotel is sleep. I slept 5/5. I attribute this to my high floor and respectful neighbors as well, and hopefully some hotel sound proofing? My hotel room was also at the end of the hotel away from the lobby which probably also helped to to be quieter. Loved the big living area, table, small wet bar, and nice bathroom. Robes. Two TVs. Comfortable king bed. Heater worked. A couple things that made it about a 4.2 stay instead of 5 stars. Valet area was a bit chaotic with lots of workers and people but check in was easy, albeit not overly friendly but adequate. Lobby Chill Bar kind of small but cute and on theme. The pool area has way more potential. It is humid which I didn't mind except that the tile or flooring whatever it is they used is horrible for an indoor pool area. It stayed wet and was slippery and most importantly, unclean and gross with random clumps of hair and what seemed like dirty water. I should note there was a worker picking up lone towels on chairs which was nice but I would like to see some more cleaning of the actual flooring. The hot tub and pool themselves were nice, but we didn't spend too much time there as it was a short one night stay. I do love they have a no kids after 10 pm rule but then again nobody is really ensuring that. Joe Merchans Coffee and provisions was good for a to go breakfast. I loved my oat milk hot chocolate and had a bite of husbands breakfast burrito as I'm gluten sensitive but my bite was pretty decent with eggs, potatoes, and bacon. With the mid reviews I see here, I would definitely come back here to see if I get the same experience as I had this time which I am hopeful for because I have stayed at many places in Lake Tahoe to include boutique motels and the large casinos, and this was probably my best overall experience.

This hotel is a solid cheesy 4 star hotel but there isn't anything wrong with that. I booked a room for the night because I had tickets for a show in Tahoe and instead of driving home late, I decided to make it mini weekend getaway. I chose Margaritaville because it was very inexpensive and I like margaritas. The margaritas at the hotel bar did not disappoint! Jimmy Buffett would have been proud of the house margaritas. The rooms themselves are very large and have recently been updated. Overall, the rooms were nice for this type of hotel. Inside the hotel, still is a bit outdated but not terrible. Everything was very clean and the front desk staff were really nice and friendly. The hotel also is dog friendly.

Margaritaville was a fun and family-friendly place to stay! The resort was clean, well-maintained, and had a cute, tropical vibe that made for a great getaway. The amenities were nice, and it's definitely a great spot for families with kids. However, the walls are extremely thin, so noise travels easily. We could hear kids running up and down the halls and in the room next door which made it a bit difficult to relax at times. Overall, a good experience, but if you're a light sleeper, you might want to bring earplugs! Points for the lobby bar with all the comfy chairs to lounge in.

What a great Vibe! If you are craving Key West and can't get there-come to Margaritaville in SLT. We were here one night for a concert. The hotel staff is awesome, drinks given while checking in, made sure you know where everything is located and overall laid back.

DO NOT BOOK A 2 BEDROOM THROUGH YOU'RE CREDIT CARD COMPANY !!! They do NOT actually offer it. I book hotels often NEVER had this happen. I booked this hotel for my daughter's birthday thinking she would get her own room . We checked in, hotel is beautiful. No self parking available so we had to valet. We check in with the front desk & the front desk agent confirmed the reservation with our credit card. We got to our room to find a ONE bedroom.. I called the front desk to tell them we booked a two bedroom and the front desk agent immediately transferred me to a supervisor (as if she knew this was an issue already). I spoke to Veronica the front desk supervisor & she said that she is well aware that the credit card company has been miss advertising their rooms. She stated that the two bedrooms are well over $800 and there were none available. She told me that it's not on the hotel and that she notified the credit card company the day before for someone else. She said people have been experiencing this. My thing is... if you know this is happening WHY not let customers know!?? Why let them check in & not tell them. The front desk SEES we booked a two bedroom & handed us a key for a one bedroom. Her attitude was just a matter of fact. Like not her problem & to take it up with my card company. I was so beyond livid I hung up on her after she said " well like I've already stated you need to contact your credit card company". I couldn't believe her horrible customer service & lack of regard. I was on the phone with my credit card company for 1 hour and 42 minutes. They initially said it's on the hotel. I spoke with 3 separate supervisors & finally got someone to give me partial credit (ridiculous) . The supervisor called back (my husband answered the call) he said her voice was apologetic (should have been this way the FIRST conversation). She waived our resort fees and gave us a $50 credit for food.. although I'm glad she did SOMETHING. This should have been handled WAY better. I will NEVER book here again. Beautiful hotel but the fact that there is an on going issue and they are aware but have no protocol is unacceptable. I booked this hotel December 2024, I should have been notified. We tried to make the best of it for my daughter. We ordered room service and got a "Sunday" which is ONE tiny scoop of ice cream with sprinkles, whipped cream and drizzle of chocolate sauce. It was a JOKE. We got two "margaritas" ( not iced, in a small cup). Two chocolate lava cakes and two " Sundays" for $90!!!!!!! It was suppose to be around 60$ but after all the fees it was $90!!! RIP OFF. Again, hotel is nice, lobby is like a furnace. I'm really disappointed. Something's can't be fixed by comping people. This trip was suppose to be special for my daughter & this hotel ruined it. We shared beds and felt awful that we couldn't deliver her own room like we had told her months. Shame on both the credit card company AND the hotel.
