The mushroom pizza was fantastic and the pecan and spinach salad was really good too. It took about 25 min as I waited there for my pizza, but that's because they use a single wood-fired oven to bake them up and I'm not mad about it! Great thing but slightly chewy crust and locally sourced toppings. It had the feel of an old country store but run with the energy and flare of the younger generation. It felt family-friendly and there was a small stage where I presume they do live music some night.

GET THE PEACH PIZZA!!!! You will not regret it! I added hot honey and oh my 10/10 pizza and 10/10 wine too! Nice ambiance and friendly staff.

By far the best pizza in El Dorado County and the new location is fantastic. It should be noted that there is parking around back and not just the few number of spaces out front. They also have great live music. Highly recommended.

Good pizza! When camping every year we order here for our Friday night dinner. Service is fast. Great place to stop when in town.

Live music is their only saving grace. Food takes around an hour, pizza arrives hard and cold.

I dig this spot. My motorbike isn't getting quite the level of attention it's accustomed to back home in the bay area where we had the Santa Cruz mountains to romp in, but I'm making do.Anyhow, on the few rides I partake in, I've managed to slip through this section of 49 and conveniently needed some refueling & refreshments. It's nice there's a gas station next door to refuel the beast, then waltz over to Marco's to eat & drink.The ambiance is super! No indoor seating. Sit out front and watch your motorcycle, or sit in back near the live music (I'm not sure when they do or don't have music - there's usually a schedule on the bulletin board but I just go when I go). Or sit off to the side on benches laid out on the lawn further back. Dog friendly place!The PBR is just $2 per can (12 oz) or $3 for the larger can. I like that they didn't raise the price this year.The food isn't spectacular, it's not common when a spot far out there has superior offerings, but what they do here, it is good. I really liked the mushroom pizza. It had delicious mushrooms, feta goat cheese, fresh tomatoes, and I think a few more ingredients. It was also the least lactose dose you could ask for amongst their pizzas (the gal at the counter knew that and my tum tum confirmed it).I don't condone drinking and driving. I definitely do not endorse drinking while on a motorcycle ride. However, I will imbibe on a light lager like PBR at a low & slow frequency as it is refreshing. If you like to do the same responsibly, or if you're cruising the area in a convertible, or wrapping up a rafting trip, do stop in!Note: they are open seasonally and tend to be open close to Memorial Day through I believe October. Also, be prepared to wait. When there is a short line and several people lingering, that means pizza can take upwards of 45 minutes. Grab a beer, grab an appetizer and CTFO. Enjoy!

Come for for live music and stay for all the good vibes!!! There is something magical about Marcos. Tasty pizza, great selection of beer on tap. My favorite place to decompress and hang with my family of friends.

The decor, the handmade bar, and the pizza oven themselves will bring me back to this place! Sad we had to take our pizzas to go! Ordered 20 pizzas for hungry students after a river trip and the owner Justin had them out for us right on time! Pizza was fantastic! Great crust and fresh flavors! Everyone working there was super nice and helped carry all the pizzas out. A Local gem for sure! They serve beer, wine, and super yummy ice cream! Skip everywhere else and come to Marco's Cafe! We will be back next year!

Their pizza is on point. This is a handmade. Wood fire pizza oven, their service is quick and the staff are super friendly. The inside transformation of what this place was to a pizza joint is amazing. I love this place
