Funny how this store showed up on my Yelp. I went in to buy my GSD some raw dog food and stayed to get myself some New York Steaks. The dog food was a Trio of Chicken Turkey and Beef parts for $3.95 a pound and he loves it. They have other packs like chicken and bone and other combinations for your pet as well as meat packs for your family. The only downside is everything is frozen so in that sense it's not a butcher as I grew up but the steaks were all tender

Wonderful staff at TMB! My family and I have patronized for many years and have always been pleased with the price and quality of the products. I was looking fora specific item that was out of stock. The cashier said she could call when the item restocked, of she did. The other appreciation for TMB is the education the staff provides (how to cook, appropriate amount, how meals are prepped by butcher before being sold).

Upon the recommendation of a friend, I initially came to mad butcher meat company primarily looking for dog treats. While I was there, however, I discovered their abundant selection of meat products, and knew that this would be my new go-to meat source. I ended up purchasing some marinated tri-tip for a stirfry I was planning to make as well as some bacon for your classic Sunday morning breakfast. I picked up some beef bones with bone marrow for my dogs and took a look at their raw dog food selection. The staff were extremely kind and engaging. They took the time to explain their various products as well as their meat boxes. The prices were competitive with other butchers in the area, if not slightly better. I will definitely be a regular customer at the Mad Butcher Meat company.

Fantastic place! The employees are so sweet! My partner and I get most of our pet food from this store! They also have very reasonably priced meats and cheeses. I love that you can also get deliveries through DoorDash. The only thing is the fly bags outside are very stinky. I can understand why they are needed though. Just hold your nose on the way in!

I'm writing a review based on my last experience buying at Mad Butcher, which unfortunately messed with my family's whole experience for the new year.Me and my wife have been shopping here for the last 4 1/2 - 5 years. For the last 4 years we have been doing the exact same order for new year: 5 lbs of BONELESS Prime Rib.This year the employee taking our order got the wrong order (their mistake), when we paid our deposit, we asked why the price was off and the employee told us "ignore what it says on the screen". We didn't question her despite the codes appearing different, we thought maybe it was something internal in their system and so we trusted her (our mistake).When went back to get our order on the pick up day, to our surprise the order was wrong and the cut of meat was 12lbs instead of the 5 lbs we wanted, which would mean paying much more money than we had planned. Problems happen, and one wouldn't think it would be a big deal to help us correct the size of the order, except for how the employees handled the situation.The employee at the pick up was the same one who took our order and rather than try to fix it and help is get 5lbs of meat (or something closer to it), all she did was focus on covering herself saying "well that's the order on the paper". We reminded her that we ignored the order slip because of what she had told us the night we order. The most upsetting part was she wouldn't just move past wanting to tell us we were wrong. Clearly because she didn't want to be the one responsible for the mistake.After a stressful encounter (stressful because the employee was offering no help) and insisting they help us, in the end we were able to get a cut that was about 6lbs, which was closer to what we here expecting to pay. And that is exactly the point: since they had an alternative why did they insist on making the whole experience so stressful? Mistakes happen, why not just fix it? Especially since in the end it proved it could be fixed. There was no reason for the employee to make it such negative encounter.The whole experience was so upsetting, we almost decided we would never go back but we decided to contact Kelly (the owner's daughter) after the new year to inform her of what happened. She said she remembered who we were from all the times we had shopped there. We didn't ask for anything from her, we didn't want compensation, we didn't want money back nor anything free. We also said we don't want anything bad to happen to the employees maybe just work with them on their customer service and problem resolution. She asked for a week to get back to us and we gave her the benefit of doubt since last time when they made a mistake she fixed it.Well a month has now passed without any message back from Kelly or the company. So for us that shows a lot, unfortunately we'll go our separate ways and look for another butcher shop. We have no intention to go back, there's plenty other shops in the city and we will find another good shop to support. We still wish the best for your business, but we care for a constant good customer service and a place that treats us with respect.A reminder for who is reading this review, the one star they got on this review is based as I said on the last experience and customer service that was extremely bad.Their food is a solid 4 star.Edited to address business comment:You did not text back after 1/2/23 when we informed you about the incident and you said you would get back to us. The last texts showing are from you saying you would follow up with us in a week and my wife saying '...thank you, we appreciate it'. If you did send a text it was to someone else. I LOVE the quality of their meats!! Their ground beef tastes like REAL 100% beef with No Slime!! and there is minimal grease after cooking. I won't buy ground beef anywhere else!

Ordered raw pet food online. It was ready when I needed it and I needed my son to pick it up. They are friendly and helpful. He was able to pick it up with my order confirmation with no hassle. They have a great selection too. Always feed your pets raw food for healthier animals. The mad butcher has what you need.
