I'm addicted. I started coming to Luna Sol over the summer. Starting with solo sessions gave me the confidence that I could do this entirely new to me exercise. I joined group classes as soon as the introductory series was complete and now I'm enjoying 3 classes a week and thinking about it everyday. All of the teachers I've taken classes from have been fantastic. They are sensitive to any physical limitations I may have, yet know how to safely push me to go beyond what I ever thought I could do. I love their "come as you are" philosophy and I've never felt intimidated or out of place. I so appreciate the increased strength and mobility I'm building because of these classes.

I have been a student of Pilates for over 10 years. I came to it because I had injured myself and frozen my shoulder. I could hardly look over my shoulder to park or rotate my arm to put on a sweater. I also had an old skiing injury that impacted my knee joint. Both issues were dramatically improved with the movements in Pilates. Everything about Pilates is controlled and intentional. While the exercises never strain my body, I am challenged and break a sweat. I feel so much better when the class is done. For me, the experience is meditative. I never suffer from lactic acid aches from overstressed muscles the next day. I like the equipment, too. The reformer, the chair, the barrel and spring board all offer interesting and engaging ways to work the body, strengthening the core and developing flexibility throughout the body. Balance is also addressed which becomes more critical as we age. As I have learned more about this form of body conditioning, I have refined my expectations for instruction. Luna Sol is the studio that provides me with challenges that push me but do not stress me. Sarah is an instructor that guides the movements with a calm demeanor, her command of Pilates, and her extensive knowledge of physiology. Her classes flow effortlessly from muscle group to muscle group. No two classes are the same keeping me on my toes. I always feel strong and supple after class. I attend regularly because I'm always better for it. My only regret- I didn't find Pilates sooner.

I started at Luna Sol Pilates about 6 months ago and I love it! In the past, I couldn't stay motivated to stick with group exercise classes, but I really look forward to going to Pilates. It's a super fun way to improve my strength and flexibility, especially because the reformer and other equipment allow for so many different exercises and options. I've had 5 different instructors (Sarah, Carrie, Tasha, Jenna and Thi) and every one of them has been knowledgeable, attentive and nice. The studio itself is clean, well-equipped, has parking and is conveniently located next to big Nugget. I have no hesitation recommending Luna Sol to anyone who is new to Pilates or wants to elevate their practice.

If you are looking for expert, friendly, careful instruction in Pilates, this is the place for you! Sarah and Carrie are wonderful teachers and great human beings. Classes are small and great care is taken to make sure you are safe. Emphasis is on individualized repair and care as well as strength and agility. Options for online as well as in-person classes. I've been a student of Sarah's for years and it's great to see her team up with Carrie to create this beautiful space for Pilates.
