I found out about this Chinese food restaurant because of Living Social coupon.Location: Off of Marysville and Grant *Del Paso Heights Area*The nearest Sac Rt bus stop is 15,86. *Parking is in front and on the side of the business.Seating: There's about ten dining tables that can seat four people at a table. Orders: Can be made over the phone for pickup or delivery.Clientele: Multicultural.Pricing: $$ Reasonable.Time: 15 minute wait or less. The food smells delicious and looks appetizing. I appreciate the fact that on their web page there's labeled pictures of different dishes. I thought the restaurant was brand new because of the Living Social/Groupon discounts coupons and I had no clue that Lucky Express has been there for 17 years. It's nice on the inside and I was greeted immediately by "T". It's spacious and clean and appears to be a hidden gem. There's a big screen television for the diners to watch and another flat screen television previewing what the surveillance cameras are capturing.I would have to give it 4 out of five stars, because the cook and waiter didn't pay attention to the detail in my order before passing me my to go bag. I had a specialty order and not to have walnuts for my walnut shrimp, but walnuts were added (which is scary if I had a nut allergy). The to go orders come with sweet sour sauce, soy sauce, fortune cookie and plastic forks.I recommend at least trying this restaurant once.

Located in Sacramento, Lucky Express has been a go-to spot for many people in the area. I first heard about it through Doordash, and decided to give it a try. However, my experience with this establishment left me disappointed. The food quality was poor, with questionable meat being used in their dishes. As someone who values the taste and freshness of my food, this was a major letdown. Additionally, the location of Lucky Express is not the most inviting, as it is situated in a less desirable area. However, one positive aspect is that they do accept EBT, making it accessible for those who rely on this form of payment. Now, let's switch gears and talk about the friendly and funny side of Lucky Express. Despite my initial disappointment, I couldn't help but laugh at the irony of the name "Lucky" Express. Perhaps it's lucky for some, but unfortunately not for me. However, I have to give credit where credit is due, their service was fast. I guess when you have questionable meat, you want to get it out to the customer as quickly as possible before they realize what they're eating. All jokes aside, I hope that the management at Lucky Express takes steps to improve their food

Is this place for real? So, I ordered from here a couple of years ago and the food was not great, so I never went back. My nephew went to go get some food for him and his girlfriend, and I asked them to get me an order of egg rolls since they were going. I have my go-to place for Chinese food, but didn't feel like ordering if they were going to a store. Well, they were taking quite a while to get back, but when they did, they told me what happened. They went and got the food, and my nephew's gf is pregnant, so she started eating her wonton soup right away. Well, guess what? There were bugs in the soup. My nephew decided to check the other food and other items were cold. They turned back around and went and reordered my eggrolls (which if he would have called me, I would have told him not to because of their soup has bugs in it, which knows what's in their food). Anyway, they went back and got fresh egg rolls. They were not that good, and I was afraid to eat them after hearing about the bugs. I ate one and ended up throwing the others away. We ended up just ordering some Taco Bell because that's what his gf wanted. I'm sad to say the food has obviously gotten worse since I last ordered. If your food has bugs in it, you need to be shut down, honestly.

Service.. absolutely horrid. Not horrible but horrid. After calling in, and I've been ordering from this restaurant for months now but will no longer. She asks me for my phone number, then proceeds to tell me that they aren't delivering today. Umm hunny that's a fact that you could have told me without asking for my phone number. And then when I called back and asked for the manager, she in a broken English way told me from what I could make out...to call back tomorrow and she doesn't answer phones. ... this place no longer need my $45-55 orders any longer. AVOID AVOIDNext order: a day or 2 later and on-top of that the food was hot and Accurate. I suppose it depends on who you talk to... but I'd avoid the woman....

Love their noodles! Super thick and actual noodles unlike Panda Express. Try their orange chicken!

I had placed a delivery for a combination plate and the salt and pepper pork had been burnt and soggy and the rice was extremely watery!I went in and the girl refused to give me new rice and told me i dont have to eat there and she said i refuse to serve you. I told her okay but i always come here to order and it is never soggy? she said that if the lid covers the food for more then 5 min then my food will be soggy and next time i should of came inside to order. What the hell kind of service is that? She was extremely rude she also said "we dont know how to make your food so you will have to eat somewhere else"

This is my go-to Chinese food place when I don't want to cook for my family, so on this day, Friday--I called in for p/u of selected items--egg foo yung being one of them. I have never had any issues with either the staff, service, or food until today. I ordered almost $90 worth the food even left a tip, got home and later found that the alleged egg foo yung was something that resembled a tofu pie cut into wedges like cornbread instead of the usual rounded patty shape, I also didn't detect a bean sprout in it, so whatever it was, it was fried hard and I tossed it. I called the restaurant soon after the discovery and spoke to the woman who took and presented my order to me and also of whom received my tip. I inquired of the egg foo yung and told her That it wasn't what I ordered, she had the audacity to tell me that it was, said that that's the way they've always prepared it, no lady it was not--when I've ordered it previously it was sheer perfection. I usually enjoy patronizing this restaurant but I may consider another place. I'm not Asian but don't even try to insult my intelligence, I told her there was barely any egg in it, no evidence of bean sprouts, and it was hard. She proceeded to tell me that I should have paid attention, WTH pay attention to what??? Maybe I should have inspected the kitchen during the prep, how would I assume what I wanted would have been the trash that I was served? I could have become really indignant here but I didn't, it's been a long week and I was so looking forward to not cooking and having a tasty meal in a nice spread for my family. The item ordered and paid for was quite disgusting but I reassured her the taste wasn't what I expected and not what I was accustomed to having. I usually enjoy patronizing this restaurant but I may consider returning to my other fave place, Hong Kong house (in Rosemont) great food that we enjoy when I have the taste for good Chinese food but I moved from the area. Even though I was pleasant I didn't appreciate the service tonight. I hope the friendly gentleman who usually serves is there, perhaps I won't return unless he is there, maybe it was his off day, I hope they're not under new management. Anyway, I will post a photo of the egg fool yung, in addition to a photo of what real egg foo yung looks like, decide for yourself.

I tend to lean to hot n sour soup when I feel a cold coming on. I had never been here before, but driven past it hundreds of times. Since the homeless camping along side the business cleared up I decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, I was not a fan of their hot n sour soup. It had tons of egg, tofu, and black mushrooms, with some green onions. The part I did not care for was all the chunks of pork added in, much of which were just fat chunks and such small pieces there were several in every bite. i ended up tossing my soup. Needless to say I will not be back for that dish.
