Lottery Liquor & Hot Wok Chinese Food Take Out

We don't need no stink'in menus! Seriously, if you don't know what Chinese food you like you probably will not appreciate Hot Wok. All the fav's are available; orange or sesame chicken, Mongolian beef, beef or chicken with broccoli, fried rice and egg rolls. The egg rolls are huge and an order is 4 of them. Portions are generous. This is not health food! Plan your diet accordingly.Here is the thing, there is no seating, no restaurant ordering counter, no drive thru. Go in and order at the liquor store checkout. A word of caution, the menu changes based on ingredient availability. The night we went they were out of beef. No problem, we like chicken too. You can call in orders too. Great service, good food and enough for leftovers.

Great place for a late night bite. They're open till 12am. It's a liquor store with a kitchen. Friendly staff and owner. He'll tell you his family have been cooking there for over 40 years. Everything is pretty much priced around $15. Egg rolls are huge. Big portions when it comes to food. Chowmein is good, fried rice is a little bland. They are not stingy when it comes to the protein for the noodles. A must stop for those late night cravings.

Tony's the man. Super nice and sociable. I have only tried the chow mein and sesame chicken, they both are fantastic. The chow mein a little greasy but not necessarily in a bad way, the chicken well crusted, sauced, and flavored. If you make a lot of rice and get one order of sesame chicken, you can feed 3. Note: they only sell plates of a single dish, no combos with chow mein and chicken, better to eat here with a friend. The inside is covered with old beer ads which is hilarious and makes for an entertaining, short wait for your delicious food. Side note: the sesame chicken has the warm, comforting flavor that I can't quite put my finger on, it is sooo good.

Customer service was amazing, food was amazing. 10/10 recommend. I wish I could leave SIX stars!! I needed a side of steamed rice as a different restaurant I doordashed from forgot it... I called & Lottery Liquor said they'd have rice for me no problem... When my husband arrives, they are making FRESH rice for us. Husband was taken aback by how kind and generous the owners were upon meeting them... He ordered their pot stickers as well, they were JUICY, CRISPY, FIRE. If I lived in this area I would be a local to this place. Happy to give them our money, any day!

Tony is awesome. Very nice everytime I see him. I usually come here to buy scratchers but decided to order some food. If you want good food check this place out. Best Chinese food here in my opinion. Don't be intimadated by the outside, the food is made fresh when you order it. Definitely worth the wait, but if you're impatient that's your loss. I have only tried the beef & broccoli, sweet & sour chicken and chicken chow mein, they are fantastic. Lots of flavors. I did ask if he does combos but he only sell plates of a single dish. The portion is A LOT. It's really good to feed people of 3.

The price is crazy , there's no lunch plate I ask the lady what was the price since they sell individual sides . She said 4.99 . So I paid for the sweet and sour chicken and got the chicken fried rice total was 29.98 wtf . That's crazy I have never paid so highly for chines food . They definitely finesse me out. Never again will I come to this place and I really recommend for people to pay cash instead of using your card .

Absolutely worth the stop. Open late!! Best egg rolls I've ever had. Whoever said the egg rolls were greasy trust me the owner heard you and took care of that situation. The customer service is above average. The food is brought to your car!!! The Peking Pork is a little dry but I'd rather have it dry and fully cooked instead of fatty and chewy. Hands down the best Chinese food in Sacramento... Sorry Wayne's Wok...I'm with these guys now

Order eggrolls for 12.99 with a extra sauce for $1 only to check my bank account a few days later to see that i was charged 19.20! Very disappointing because wen i asked the owner he jus looked at me crazy. Good food but definitely a lil hesitant about using my card here anymore

Don't get me wrong the portion sizes were great but.... The meat didn't look right at all nor did it taste right. Had an odd taste to every bite and was atrocious to consume. Along with the place being in the back of a liquor store, the quality of the food seems to really show that. Would only recommend if your 10/10 faded

Something inside me said TRY this place. Last night in Sacramento and close by too. Very very good. We got the sesame chicken, pork fried rice and the potstickers. The potstickers are mini footballs and amazing. The sesame chicken and fried rice were bomb. These items could have easily fed a family of 4. Super friendly dude, a tad sketchy part of town but well worth it. *you order and then wait in your car or whatever. Huge portions if you're into that.
