I had issues with this place when I lived close by, years ago. Didn't go back for years until working close by again. Today I paid $11.95 for a small burrito that only has beans, cheese, and rice. They didn't even add sour cream as I was charged for, and last I checked that is the same price for a super burrito with meat and all the fixings. That's wild to me! I understand inflation but wow! Just wow. My mistake for going back. Never again!

This restaurant appears to be a chain consisting of two other locations. the ambiance here is older and smaller. The salsa bar was limited and the chios needed to be refilled (only broken chips left and it was 11am!) The pico was not as vibrant as the other locations and had an unripe flavor of tomatoes. The cashier that took our order was unfriendly and i had to correct my order three times with her. So what did we order?1) carnita super quesadilla: not as overfilled with carnitas as their other locations. The carnitas were flavorful but a bit greasy and overcooked. 2) plate of 3 enchiladas: 2 beef and one one cheese w green sauce - decent. But the refried beans lacked flavor but the rice was decent3) burrito: much larger size than other locations. the grilled chicken was moist and flavorful. The rice and pinto beans were the perfect balance. -would orderthis item againSo after patronizing all three locations, i would say the best location is the one on alta arden/fulton with the one on Broadway coming a close second. This location on Fruitridge road...i would just patronize the other locations and avoid this location. Would i return? I would say no- but yea to the other locations.

Interesting, competitive location, nestled between two other Mexican restaurants and across the street from a Jimboy's. A plethora of similar choices, with intricate differences, I am sure.I came in for second lunch (part Hobbit?), and the menu and color design looked similar to another fast casual Mexican restaurant. There appears to be a trend of this style of Mexican casual restaurants "borrowing" from their competitors, but I digress. Onto the snacking....Typical menu offerings, from quesadillas, tacos, to whole plates. My review may not be wholly accurate, as due to an onion sensitivity, I cannot indulge in salsa or guacamole. I essentially got carnitas nachos. The portion was a good size, the meat not TOO dry, and a lot of melted cheese....the texture and way it melted shows it may not be the highest quality queso, but whatever. A nice enough snack.Due to dietary restrictions, my reviews of Mexican places may not always tell a full story. There were a lot of people in work uniforms, so as far as fast casual Mexican, you'll probably enjoy. For me, if invited back, I'd have no problem returning

First off, I went to their Arden location and absolutely loved, got the tacos there, it was so fresh, so delicious, so much meat.I decided to try the California burrito here, and I want to say it is by far the most disappointing California burrito in Sacramento. The pinto beans truly destroy this burrito. When you combine pinto beans and french fries, I found it quite hard to eat. There was almost no pico de gallo in this burrito as well. The white cheese also sucked. So the combo of french fries, white cheese, and beans with little pico de gallo is just bad bad bad. Also the meat wasn't memorable at all as well. As someone who truly enjoys a good California burrito. This is straight "never again" for me. I will stick to my Arden Los Immortales

I came here for lunch, ordered my food and waited for a half hour. I walked back up to the counter and inquired about my order and one of the other employees said "oh, it never came out". How do you forget about someone's meal when they put all of the orders out for the cooks to prepare? I highly recommend going somewhere else. The customer service and, apparently, their organization skills, are very much lacking...

Came through the drive thru and ordered, the waitress over the intercom was rushing the entire time. They really messed up my order and charged me for the incorrect items. When I got home I realized they messed up my order and forgot an item, so I went back hoping to get some sort of compensation for this crappy experience and food I didn't even order. But then they just refunded me for the missing item, didn't even care to bother to fix the other incorrect items and let me keep them for some stupid reason. All in all, highly disappointed with this place, will definitely not be coming back. Sucks to let go of a place I used to like but after that, I can't trust this place anymore.

Got a Carne Asada super burrito. Asked them to put hot salsa inside. It was so good I actually finished it. Seasoned and the ingredients fresh. If you're looking for a place definitely go here. Was packed inside too

Came for another meal with family and tried the pollo tamales with horchata and all the sides. My table agreed that this horchata might just be the best we've found in Sacramento. A refill was definitely made! The tamales without the red sauce were amazing, fresh & tasty, not too dry or too moist. I was really happy with how my plate came out and the rest of our table had no complaints. I would recommend this spot to everyone I meet!
