I'll put it at top of review but not a fan of the challenge system they have in place at Pickleball courts with no posted rules. Even at 8:15-8:30 PM on a weekday you can't see play more than one game before people start going up to you saying you can't stay on the court for yourself winner stays. Then they queue up and all and I watched someone just finish a game and queue but we were waiting a lot longer and there were complaints by not even the queue people who let us go ahead of them because some people were calling us out and getting upset that we didn't put our paddles in the board. Good (12) Pickleball Courts but they have exploded in popularity and you have to wait a long time or play later and later now. If it was just me, I'd wait later to play or go on off hours but friends rather go at certain times. Folsom should build more.

My fiancé, my daughter and I decided to check out this amazing park before heading to work one morning. And I must say this is quite the park, from the beach volleyball courts, to the large sand box with a large playground, with a zip-line, slides, swings and all! I would highly recommend visiting this local park, we'll definitely be back and will be bringing my volleyballs I passed down to my daughter from my days of playing volleyball in school! Any parent and child are sure to have fun at this park, just take a look at the little tour I put in the videos!

This is a nice little park just outside the bustle of main city Folsom. I remembered coming here as a kid with my grandma when my family just moved up to the area. Recently re visited with my own family as an adult and while the water portion was shut down (I'm assuming because it is still March?) The rest of the park was still up and running.A nice little scenic getaway to go relax with friends, or play some volleyball! There are restrooms on site.

This is a hidden gem unless you live close! It truly is the perfect park for summertime. The little river the kids can play in is so, so fun. My kids last hours. There is TONS of shaded grass right there next to the river so moms stay nice and comfortable. The bathrooms are close. The playground is not close, and isn't even visible from the river, which is fine for us. The playground is actually usually in full sun when we are there, but we have never gone over there; we only go for the stream! Parking is extremely close, too, so it's easy to load and unload. Love this park!

This is one fun park! There is a big basin that dumps water onto foam ground for the kids to cool off in the Summer. The water then flows through a small man made river that the kids all surround & play in. Great for 15 months-13 years old. In addition there are restrooms, picnic areas, a play structure, football/baseball field & volleyball courts. The water feature hours are: May 1 - September 30, 2011 Sunday - Saturday 11:00am - 7:00pm.I recommend this park to those looking to beat the hot Folsom heat!

What a hidden gem!! I love this place!! This is a must to go for the kids! First off it's very quiet and peaceful for the most part- sometimes that's nice to have. There is a decent size playground with bark. There are swings. There is decent size picnic area with shade, tables, benches, and barbecue grills. There is a baseball diamond and convenient restrooms. Also! Over to the side- there is a little sprayground with fun water fun for kids. If you're in need to cool off- this place is a great option. And even though I mentioned all that great stuff- that isn't the part! In my opinion, the greatest aspect that this park has to offer is: ! There are four courts to get a game going! These courts are full wide/length adult size nets perfect for adults. The courts are completely soft sand. And there's a sand pit nearby for kids to play in. This place is truly amazing! I can't wait to return and now I'm telling all my friends about it.

This park is close to home and one that I walk my small dog in. There is a sand area for volleyball, girls softball field a swing area, gym set for small children, a snack bar, a water feature with picnic covered area. A pavilion for group family cooking and a small hill for climbing suitable for small ones. Over the hill towards Macado are two more softball fields and more parking. West of that area is a first rate football field used by our schools and other groups. One small area nerve the two softball fields is an area that is not finished. At one time this was ear marked to be a skate park for everyone. Often I see Eagles and turkey's as well as other small animals.A very lovely place to enjoy watching families enjoy the out doors.

This was a cool little park. I looked up parks with water features and my kids loved it. They have a waterfall feature you can run under that flows down a little "creek" made of concrete. Kids brought little toys and liked to watch them float down. Water feature turns on at 11 am I think. Plenty of shade trees and a covered area that has many tables right by the water area. There is a nice play structure, a baseball field, volleyball courts, bathrooms, and a fun hill to climb on. My family will be back her for sure!

More parks should be like this vintage water park that is thoughtful in providing a lot of shade options and bathrooms for young and old families and the general public. Dennis has been great checking the water quality and comfort of the park for families which is very helpful to have a kind guardian for families while at the park. There are so many amenities here I did not want to write the review and have it get too crowded :)
