My husband and I love finding little cafes after our hike but we stumbled upon this place instead. We were so happy about the taste of the food here! Such a memorable taste that I would love to come back to.I do wish I got our server's name because she was amazing! She gave us great recommendations, made us laugh and kept our waters full! Coming from a hike this was appreciated.I enjoyed the dry braised string beans, pork dumplings and beef broccoli and the pork bun! Honestly this was everything we order... IT WAS SO DELICIOUS!

I recently visited this dumpling spot in Auburn and had an interesting experience. The restaurant is located up stairs with only street parking available, so keep that in mind when planning your visit. When I arrived, it was quite empty, allowing me to pick my own seat, which was nice. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, which added to the pleasant atmosphere. The food was made to order, ensuring everything was fresh. However, I found the bao buns to be a bit too large, and the filling inside was a little on the small side. As well as lack of veggies in the chow mein. Despite this, I'm glad I got to check this place off my list. Overall, it was a decent experience with some room for improvement.

We came here for a team lunch and I was really impressed. Their food was great. The only thing I was thrilled about was the lemon chicken. But I got to try about 10 other dishes and they were all fantastic. The staff were really friendly and quick. The small town atmosphere and quality of the dining area really topped everything off. I will definitely come back if I'm in the area again.

Delicious. Waitress and chef speak little to no english but other than that, there are no problems at all. All of our food came out roughly at the same time. The orange chicken is BOMB! The setting of the restaurant is really relaxing and beautiful. It is not too loud or too quiet inside so that makes it wonderful. I completely recommend this mandarin chinese kitchen if you are in the mood for some sweet, savory, and salty food. Yes they do charge a little extra than they advertise but they are a small business and they need to keep it up somehow. The extra cost is $5 or less and you barely notice it.

I was really craving some Asian food and have been wanting to try Lui Mandarin in the historic part of Auburn. We had the following. (With enough leftovers for lunch the next day)Pork dumplings or pot stickers, flavorful ground pork filling, nice crunch to them side of ground hot oil augmented the overall yummy ness, minus a point for a piece of gristle in one of them.Tai Bei rice noodles, vegetables, and chicken. Light flavors that worked well with the other items we ordered. Mongolian beef, tender chunks of beef white and green onions seasoning, not overly spicy, delicious. Walnut shrimp, big mayonnaise coated prawns, deep fried, crunchy perfectly cooked with a small quantity of candied walnuts & a few broccoli florets also very good.Hot tea to drink. Spendy, but we ordered some of the most expensive stuff on the menu. Nicely decorated interior & friendly service from the owner made for a really good early dinner. Light crowd when we dinned, and you can eat outside on the porch.

Worst experience ever. The young waitress had an attitude the minute we entered the restaurant, then didn't bother coming out from behind the counter to show our table, but instead threw us a wave of the hand in a nonchalant manner while brushing us off with a "just sit anywhere"Then to top of off, they threw the menu on our table like we were not welcome here. Because they didn't allow us to bring our small dog, we had to leave early. Ruined our night...

Food was very good. Especially the fried dumplings. The Singapore noodles was slightly on the saltier side as well as the mushu pork. But it may be because we skipped the rice. Staff was super friendly and attentive to us. Would visit again for sure.

This restaurant was the biggest rib off ever . There were 4 of us , we ordered 5 different dishes , the helpings were very small served on dinner plates, They forgot our drinks that we ordered first , one plate of chow main came out first and sat there for awhile, we didn't have plates or utensils, finally we got the rest of the food , still no drinks we had to remind her . Nothing was real warm . Well we will never go back !!! Everything needs improvement, Price was way too high for the amount we got , my son left still hungry!!!
