Ordered the salmon teriyaki bento box. It was pretty good and a lot of food (salmon, rice, salad, sushi, corn, fries and an egg roll).Great quick service. Clean restaurant. Located in the food court of the mall.

Great selection of food. They have big serving and can be shared if you are not hungry. Tasty and crunchy for food selections we have. Nice stall at the mall food court. Lots of tables and chairs.

With all due respect, to say I was (pleasantly) surprised by Little Tokyo would be an understatement. Maybe it's because I set my expectations too low, but can you blame me? At least with mall staples like Auntie Anne's Pretzels and Panda Express, I know what I'm going to get will be perfectly fine. However, if my experiences with non-chain food court eateries have taught me anything, it's largely been to hope for the best while preparing for the worst. So, I have to say in this case, I'm kind of happy to be proven wrong!Oddly enough, for all that Roseville Galleria has to offer, the food court felt comparatively modest in its offerings. Granted, there's actually a number of eateries sprinkled throughout the mall, but it felt limited to only have a half dozen or so choices. Of those, aside from Shake Shack, Little Tokyo looked the most interesting and was easily the most popular based on the line. Not hard to see why, either - scanning through the glass display, there were a lot of appealing options to choose from, whether you're ordering their bowls, bento boxes, or assembling a one, two, or three item combo plate (comes with two sides). Otherwise, if you're feeling something different, their menu also features noodle soups and sushi rolls as well. After trying free samples of two of their chicken dishes, I immediately knew what to get for my TWO ITEM COMBO PLATE ($9.99) - their Chicken Teriyaki & Firecracker Chicken with Chow Mein and Spicy Chow Mein. Sadly, though, the worker thought I pointed at something else, so I ended up getting their PINEAPPLE CHICKEN & FIRECRACKER CHICKEN with CHOW MEIN and SPICY CHOW MEIN. Thankfully, the Pineapple Chicken wasn't bad - the sauce was too sweet, but the pieces were quite meaty. As for the Firecracker Chicken, I it was awesome! The batter was crispy, the chicken itself was moist, and the sauce had a nice kick. I thought the regular Chow Mein was great as well, as the noodles were chewy and not too salty, but don't bother with the Spicy Chow Mein, which was just spaghetti noodles with barely a kick.In the grand scheme of things, you'll obviously find better food at an actual restaurant, but Little Tokyo is a great option for a food court meal. What's more, it's a incredibly budget friendly meal when you consider how generous the portion is for just $10. Hard to argue with that when you consider your typical fast food meal is going for even more these days. Too bad Little Tokyo isn't a chain, as i wouldn't mind having it as an option at the malls closer to me!THREE AND A HALF STARS rounded up.

3.5 stars. The price is amazing and the portions are huge. They are very generous. However, the flavor is pretty mid. Everything is just a bit too saucy for me. I guess that's to be expected for mall food but it's quick and fills you up for cheap.

It's mall food. It's to be expected. Their sides did not look appetizing at all. The noodles looked greasy oily and plain. No color. Skipped it. Got fried rice. Which lacked any seasoning. Probably would've prefer just plain white rice. Sesame chicken - had a nice crunch. Pineapple chicken (I think?) - wasn't bad either.

Mall food review. Price is very affordable. Food is decent. Service is quick. Ambiance is a fairly busy and loud mall. For the price the food is good. 4 stars Chicken Ramen Soup. Chicken was fresh and grilled. Fresh veggies. Broth had a nice flavor. Noodles a bit tough. For $8.99 no complaints. Worth the price. 4 stars Chicken Teriyaki Bowl dark meat. Grilled chicken was good. Rice and veggies were good. Nice flavor. For $8.99 again no complaints.

This is my favorite meal at the Westfield Galleria food court and my favorite bargain meal in general. Little Tokyo Teppanyaki is that Japanese counter service restaurant that often gives out samples. They will even let you choose your sample when it's not too busy. The Hot and Sour Soup is full of vegetables, including bamboo shoots and black fungus or wood ear mushrooms. Soup comes in 3 sizes. The large is only $4.99!I really love the BBQ Chicken Kabob, which is just $2.19 per skewer as of 1/15/2024. The marinade is probably similar to Teriyaki Sauce. Easy and satisfying protein source. The appetizers are in their own heated display with a menu of prices next to it. Egg Rolls, Fried Shrimp Tempura, Crab Rangoon, Dumplings, Sesame Balls, and Egg Custard Tarts. Much less expensive and more accessible than a dim sum restaurant. I've had better egg rolls, and the egg custard tarts were partially hollow inside, but they're fun and easy snacks and treats. 2 egg tarts for $1.50 as of 1/15/2024.Of course, you can order the popular and reasonably priced 1 or 2 entree combo meals or daily specials. I love that you can double up on your side. I love that you can choose the stir-fried Chinese green string beans as your side, which is great for people watching their carb intake.Pro tip: During the last 30-40 minutes before the mall closes, the restaurant will make combo meals of the remaining food and sell a box for $4.99!

Because Panda Express was way too long so we opted to try this spot out. The kids ended up with fries and lemonade from Hot Dog in a Stick. We ordered a 2 item combo (chicken teriyaki and shrimp teriyaki) with white rice and veggies. The veggies were good when dipped in the teriyaki sauce. The shrimp had an odd taste that I can't really explain. The chicken teriyaki sauce was good but just a tad salty but my kids liked it so I guess that's okay. The chicken pieces were tender and big but I had to slice and dice to make sure the pieces were small enough for my kids. There were some really chewy pieces that I kids had to "spit" out but they did eat the non chewy pieces. Don't mind my photo, I remembered to take after I fed half of it to my kids and myself. My husband wasn't a fan and ended up getting a hot dog on a stick

Honestly, pretty good tasting Asian food. Their combo plate is super worth it. Doesn't have nearly any vegetable options but you'll get some good tasting carbs and protein. Quick service too.

The food is very tasty. Portions are plenty and pricing is reasonable. I enjoy it WAY better than panda express.
