Here my son is doing one of the jobs.

We are unenrolling my son from Little Blossom Montessori, effective immediately. He attended for 4 weeks, 2x per week. This decision is based upon an interaction I witnessed last Thursday, 10/24, and the lack of response from the school administration. On 10/24, when I walked through the Toddler room to pick up my son, I witnessed his teacher walking with him outside and very close to the classroom by the arm (not the hand), roll her eyes, and swat a basketball out of his hand. This interaction made my gut and heart sink and that is not a feeling I've ever had with any other caretaker we have left him with or any doctor or medical professional who has seen him. There are a few red flags here as a parent who has years of experience teaching at multiple grade levels, a multiple subject teaching credential, an ECE certificate, and a MA in Education. 1) Staff should never handle students by the arm. Young children's bodies are not meant for this. Arms can very easily be dislocated. Staff should only offer a finger to children this small. This is a major safety concern.2) Staff, if frustrated, need to take a break or go home for the day. I understand that we are all human and that taking care of children can be very frustrating. However, nothing my child did to frustrate her was intentional. He's very, very young, and learning right from wrong. None of this deserves an eye roll. Teachers need to be models for these young students and this teacher's behavior was by no means positive modeling. 3) There is no viable reason for a teacher swatting a basketball from a 2 year old's hand. I know my child and he is remarkably agreeable. If he had been asked to put the basketball down, he would have. It may have taken 1 or 2 requests, but he would have done it. And if he hadn't, the teacher should have simply picked up the basketball from his hand, never swatted it away from him. Furthermore, the fact that I called, left a voicemail, and emailed on Friday (10/25) morning regarding this incident and did not hear back in either form over the course of two business days is completely unprofessional. It shows us very clearly that the school and the staff do not take my questions, concerns, or my child's wellbeing seriously. This is a situation I absolutely refuse to put my child in again. I do not recommend that you send your child here.

If I could give zero stars I would. First off they do NOT feed the kids nutritional foods. Boxed eggo's is their idea of healthy. If your child is still hungry they will NOT give them more, they will ask you to provide snacks. They don't take the time with the children. They see the kids a dollar signs. It is ran as a rough business and not as a caring daycare center. They are money hungry people who only care about $$$$! They owe countless families money from when they closed for half of March 2020. Even after receiving multiple ppp loans they (the owner Lucky) refuses to give anything back to families.

Update:Licensing was able to corroborate the incident and Little Blossom Montessori will be receiving a deficiency on their next report for Ratio issues/Supervision issues that caused this incident to occur.Just be aware that LBM will continue to take children with severe behavioral issues, LBM still does not have a procedure/ policy for children assaulting other children, and due to the ratio issues your child may be a victim. As a parent, I am my child's advocate and will do whatever I can to protect him and I promise to warn other parents of any safety issues because I do not want this to happen to another family again.

Very poor reception. Either lack of knowledge or just straight poor attitude. The man that I met either had no understanding of what this preschool offered or.... Right from when he opened the door, I just felt an unpleasant vibe from him. I told him I was looking for a preschool to put my child in and he just went straight to the desk and gave me the pricing paper. He now said that they are not giving tours right now. I told him I did not need a tour and that I wanted a little insight on the school. He replied that it was a Montessori school adding that "you know what a Montessori school is." I now told him that the question was about this school and not the general term of what a Montessori school is. He now follows up with I can check on their web sight. At that point I just concluded that it was either he was either ignorant, did not know anything about the school or he got the wrong idea of the person I am... So I cut it short and walked out before I said something that sounded insulting but true...E

My son has been attending LBMS for 4 years. We recently came into some health issues with my parents and his other grandparents. We have add to keep him out of school for a total of 6 weeks, 3 weeks here and 3 weeks there. I apologized for the many absents have had, and they told me, "He is one of our babies. he is part of our family. His place is saved"Such compassion and care!

I love Little Blossom! My two kids (ages two and three) both attend, and both have incredibly caring teachers who know and understand them well. One child is more boisterous and outgoing, and the teachers embrace her personality while also pushing her to learn and grow. The other is incredibly sensitive, and the teachers do a wonderful job helping her feel safe and loved while also fostering her independence. I feel grateful for this school and the teachers every day!

I can't say enough good about this place. My little girls are, in the best way possible, very sensitive. I feel like they're known by the teachers here. They know just how to make them feel safe and loved, but also to gently push them past their comfort zones. Communication is great. The smallest sign of diaper rash or bump from an accidental fall is documented and noted to me. Admin is wonderfully responsive. I feel like everyone here cares about my kids, and you can't ask for anything more than that.

Mr. Lucky and his staff has been so great and understanding especially during the pandemic. We've been with the school for 4 years and I have no negative remarks for them. My daughter has also been so advanced in learning and she is more than ready for Kindergarten after attending the school. We love this school and so does our daughter.

I wish I could rate this school higher. As an educator myself, I am so grateful to have had such a wonderful school to prepare my daughter for kindergarten. The staff is amazing, attentive and considerate. Our experience has been incredible and we will miss the staff dearly now that we move on to kindergarten.

This school is awesome ! My toddler was nervous at first & now he doesn't even say bye. If my child runs straight to his classroom that makes me feel safe leaving my toddler with his teachers. He has learned so much in less than a month,i am amazed ! From letters to colors to singing. Thumbs up little blossom!
