Lincoln Speakeasy Taproom is a restaurant that offers 1924 nostalgia combined with 2024 amenities, friendly service, a full-service bar and amazing pub cuisine. As you enter the "460" center address of the building, a sign points you to the second floor, where the restaurant is located. "Lincoln Brand Feeds" is a historic warehouse that has been converted to a multi-purpose mall and adds to the charm of downtown Lincoln. The restaurant/bar opens at noon on Friday through Sunday, it's closed on Monday and Tuesday and opens at four on Wednesday and Thursday afternoons. The focus is around the long bar, with 21 stools - I think I counted correctly - and offers beer on tap, wine and any mixed drink you can imagine, along with "house special" drinks. Ask your bartender or check the drink menu. Besides bar stools, tables and chairs, the bar/dining room also offers "speakeasy" type seating, with couches and padded chairs, all centered around low tables, which make for the perfect gathering spot for a group of friends. The bar/dining room is separated by a partition from another room, that includes tables, chairs, pool tables and a small stage, as live music happens often at this fine restaurant/bar.From the "Big Plates" section of the menu, I went with "The Mobster," along with "Onion Rings" as my side of choice. Unlike many restaurants, you can choose between onion rings or fries - as your side dish - or, for an nominal additional charge, you can upgrade your side to premium options. It was a pleasure to enjoy an order of onion rings at no extra charge! The burger was so large that it had to be held together with a large toothpick, complete with small onion rings on top, that added to the stunning presentation. The menu describes "The Mobster" as, "This monster burger has two Angus beef patties, topped with pastrami, Swiss and provolone cheese, grilled onions, lettuce, tomato and housemade sauce." My description in a single word: Delicious. The burger was quite complex, as it was assembled in layers of veggies, grilled onions, cheese, and a generous slab of grilled pastrami, which added a unique, smoky flavor to this delicious burger. The burger began with two large - a quarter pound each - tender, premium Angus beef patties, cooked to medium, full of taste and very juicy. The patties were separated by a layer of thin, grilled onions and cheese, and topped with the slab of pastrami, sliced, fresh red onion, lettuce, tomato along with more melted cheese. The meat, cheese and veggies were sandwiched between the amazingly fresh, toasted brioche bun, which was lightly buttered, and coated with the "housemade sauce," which had a truly "old school" taste and topped off this delicious burger. Before biting into "The Mobster," I had to remove the toothpick, and since the burger was so HUGE, I could only bite into a little bit of it at a time, but "one small bite at a time," simply made the experience more enjoyable! With each small bite, I was rewarded with a burger sensation, as the bun, meat, cheese and veggies all worked together to create a taste sensation. The juicy Angus beef, the smoky pastrami, the mild Swiss and slightly tangy provolone, the grilled onions and the fresh veggies... imagine it all in one bite! "The Mobster" truly ranks as one of the best burgers in Placer County! The "Onion Rings" made for a truly delicious side, and made for a welcome break from the usual side of fries. They were cut from sweet, juicy white onion, battered, and deep fried to a beautiful golden brown. The batter was deep fried perfectly, slightly crispy, with a rich, robust taste, and it really complimented the sweet onion. I noted the onion to batter ratio was spot-on, which is important for a superior onion ring. Like the burger, these onion rings were superb. A small cup of ranch dressing was provided for dipping, but was simply an enhancement, as the onion rings were standalone delicious."The Mobster Burger," along with the side of "Onion Rings" made for a simply delicious lunch! This fine burger heads the "Big Plates" section of the menu and is the top selling selection on the menu. After enjoying this delicious burger, I can see why it's so popular, and a favorite of Lincoln locals, and all "foodies" who appreciate a superior burger. How many ways can you say "Five Star Dining?"

After dinner with friends, we decided to grab a couple of drinks at the Lincoln Speakeasy Taproom. . It is in the old Feed Building in downtown Lincoln. Casual, laid-back ... neighborhood bar atmosphere. We found friendly people and helpful staff. There is a pool table and multiple seating arrangements available including a large bar. They offer an abundance of beer on tap (I heard 20) along with wine and hard liquor. This is apparently also a distillery as they make their own brandy and rum. Food is served and at times you can enjoy live music. Not fancy or expensive ... worth a try.

A bit hard to find but I guess it makes sense because it's a "speakeasy". Very cool vibes. Everyone was chill. The food and drinks were all great. Bartenders were attentive and friendly. No complaints. Will return.

Quirky, comfortable, spacious little bar with surprisingly good food. There is often live music, and people playing pool. It feels like an upscale locals bar with good beer and local wine menu-Other "full bar" drinks as well. The speakeasy theme is cute and just works well for the space. Friendly bartenders, lots of seating

Fast service and tasty drinks. Fun velvet seating and jewel tone decor. My only issue is the volume of the music...had to yell to hear across the table. Otherwise, we loved our cocktails and the friendly service!

This is a cute addition to downtown Lincoln. We went on a Saturday night and it was about half full. They had the baseball game on TV and live music from a local artist. The gals were the bar were attentive to everybody and brought our drinks and food in a reasonable amount of time. We ordered 6 appetizers and all were great, the table favorite was definitely the cauliflower bites! We ordered a few different drinks, all came in cute glasses and tasted great. I love that they have board and card games. It was a nice experience and we'll definitely be back

Tucked away off the main street in Lincoln, is a nice getaway from the hustle and bustle of regular life. I highly recommend checking out the Lincoln speakeasy and taproom for a good chill spot to gather with friends for drinks and long chats. The inside is very spacious, the service was slow, but to be fair the bartender was working by themselves and they were swamped!

So glad we were able to stop by and check out this "Speakeasy" in Lincoln. Honestly we enjoyed the vibes, Lorena was amazing explained the flights and menu. So glad I was able to enjoy a flight of vino! She was so informative and we ordered a few appetizers and everything was yummy! Hopefully they will have some good music or DJ's that we can enjoy and dance to. Would love to come back and dance. We will see!

First time coming here tonight and the service from the bartenders were okay. My first drink wasn't made right but they seemed overwhelmed so I understand. The second time I went up to the bar I was skipped over and it was a bit annoying but not a big deal. The place was a bit warm, not sure if the AC was working but they did have the windows cracked open so that helped a little. I'm not a fan of it being on the 2nd floor, but it's in a good location. Overall a decent place to pre-game or just grab a drink.

I've been to this spot twice at night, and unfortunately, both experiences were disappointing. The service is incredibly slow, especially when it comes to ordering drinks--both times I found myself waiting much longer than expected. The payment process was also painfully slow. On top of that, when I asked to close out my tab, they didn't even return my card until I had to ask for it again. The prices are steep for an old town speakeasy, and given the lengthy wait times and the indifferent attitude of the staff, I expected a bit more. It's a shame because the vibe could be great, but the service really needs improvement.
