Lika's Quarter Café

Could be good but extremely slow. Server at the counter said "can I please get some help" and the woman in the back said "I just sat down" LOL.Saturday afternoon, only 6 tables full, 30 minutes and still waiting for food.

An absolute GEM!!!Scrumptious food. Squash soup was wow. Big fresh salads. Burger was delicious. Charming atmosphere and staff. Will be back! We scarfed our food before I got photos

WORST SERVICE! Don't waste your time here. We ordered a simple chicken sandwich, side salad, and cup of soup. 2 HOURS LATER - and nothing. No one checked on us, no one offered water, no one offered an updated time frame, no one offered to maybe just bring the side salad and soup out first. An appetizer wasn't even considered. When we asked for bread or chips for the table an hour and a half into our wait, the "waiter" pretended he didn't know what that even was. The fact that we had to request a refund (before ever being served) was mind blowing. Nothing was comped and we never even received our food. Massive waste of an afternoon.

Walked in to see a dog lying on a table inside the restaurant. This table was in plain view of the counter where you order and was seen by several employees and also by the manager and no one said anything to the dog owner. If it's okay by management for a dog put its butt on a table in view of the public I can only imagine what's going on behind the scenes at this restaurant. Hard pass for me.

Waited at least half a hour for take out !!! Other customers with several guests got faster service !!Very disappointed!!

This is my favorite restaurant and as a local I go here at least a few times a month. The staff is really amazing, especially Edwin, who waits on us, and Lika the owner. We love the whole staff. Also, the food is really excellent no matter what we order. I especially like the blue burger with the vegetarian Patty and it tastes like an actual *real burger* every single time and is amazing with the blue cheese, sautéed onions, brioche bun, etc.. It comes with a very fresh salad that is full of chopped veggies and an amazing dressing or you can get the fries which are the best! We love the atmosphere, and I take all my friends and family there when they come to town. Thank you Lika for an amazing restaurant experience.

Stopped in here walking by looking for a lunch stop. It WAY exceeded my expectations, as I rarely write reviews. The food was extremely fresh you can tell everything was made from scratch, worth the wait. The service was good but the food is what I'll be back for!

Service wasn't the best - we have been waiting for over an hour for our food - no one follow up

At Lika's Quarter Cafe, I ate the best cobb salad I have ever had, and I am old! It was perfection, filled with healthy goodness- in fact I ordered it two times in three days it was that good!I first visited on a Thursday, which was quiet with plenty of tables, and returned on a Saturday when it was busy, and there was quite a wait after ordering. The wait on Saturday was maybe 45 minutes, but the salad when served was perfectly prepared, and the atmosphere was so lovely, the wait went quickly-a lovely day. I also noticed how kind the employees were, from the cashier to the servers, to the owner herself who even at the busiest took her time to help two women choose a lovely glass of wine to buy to drink while waiting. The owner is full of grace and although she is the owner, I noticed her working very hard, (not ordering others around), cooking, ringing up, and serving. The vibe here seems to capture the spirit of Nevada City, and Lika's Quarter Cafe left a lovely impression.

We love Ms Lika, a French person who cooks like a caterer. We love sitting out on the sidewalk eating excellent food. Every dish is excellent.She makes great salads that are so perfectly balanced, and huge. Burgers are to die for, and her atmosphere is super chill.If you want a place to sit and chew lunch while taking "European time", without having a frustrated server trying to turn a buck, this is the place!It is clean, bathrooms are clean, and the restaurant is like a French neighborhood place, not fancy but hits the spot!
