My family and I tried Licious for lunch. We were their only patrons so we were a little surprised at the lackluster reception by the waitress. The restaurant itself is nicely decorated. Parking can be a challenge since it's located near two other popular fast food restaurants. As for the food, we tried the roasted crispy skin pork, beef chow fun, roasted duck noodle soup, won ton soup, and cold lion roar milk tea. The dishes were all tasty. Roasted pork had good flavor and skin was nicely crisp. The chow fun was not oily and had wok "breath". Both the soup dishes were great: noodles had an al dente texture, won tons had a good "snap", and roasted duck was quite flavorful. The milk tea was really good, too; it came with an ice cube in the shape of a lion - which is why the drink's name is "lion's roar."We are definitely adding Licious to our normal list of restaurants to dine at in Elk Grove and looking forward to trying more dishes!

This is the only local restaurant that I know that has the flying noodles! Definitely had to check them out. Came here on a weeknight so they were not busy. Our server was really nice and recommended some options. We ended ordering the beef flying noodle, their special garlic spareribs and garlic pea shoot veggie. The presentation for the flying noodle was really cool. They used a pair of chopsticks to hold up the noodles. Taste wise was pretty good but didn't stand out to me. The garlic spareribs were super tender but too garlicky. Nothing too special about pea shoot veggie. Overall, this is a decent place. They do open until late so that is a good thing for late night owls!

We decided to come check this place out looking for another Chinese food place in Elk Grove and was pleasantly surprised! The restaurant is definitely like a mom and pop shop but we felt that the service was pretty timely. We got the lunch special and felt that the portion and price was reasonable! Definitely a good place to get your Chinese food fix! The individual booths or the large tables in the middle make it a good place to come in small parities or with a large group. The parking lot outside can get pretty busy especially since it's shared with in n out and raising canes but you'll be able to find a parking spot somewhere!

Decided to try this restaurant after seeing it on IG! Wanted to try the flying noodles specifically and it did not disappoint! Only issue is that the portion size was a bit small for the price tag.I also ordered a veggie dish, sweet and sour pork ribs, spicy eggplant and pork, and deep fried intestines. As for the flying noodles, I ordered the lobster tail.Everything tasted great except for the egg plant dish, it had a very strong orange peel or pomelo peel flavor.Ordered 5 bowls of rice and they were low on rice so had to cook a new batch but we finished eating before the rice was ready so they charged us for 3 bowls of rice versus 5 bowls.I do like that they have free dessert at the end. First time a restaurant served complimentary shaved ice with chocolate syrup and toppings!

WOW, the presentation of the dishes ate fantastic. I've been wanting to try this place ever since seeing it on social media. The flying noodle was definitely the star dish of the restaurant. It tasted super delicious and I loved it. I also tried the BBQ pork and duck rice plate and it tasted good. As for my milk tea, I thought it was cool how the little ice dragon was included. But to my surprise, the drink was too sweet for me. However, I added some of the hot tea that they served us into my milk tea to perfectly balance out the sweetness of the milk tea! The ambiance of this place is nice and the interior fits the vibe of the restaurant nicely. The service here was pretty quick too, our waitress was nice and friendly. Would definitely come back.

If you're a night owl looking for a spot to grab a late bite, Licious in Elk Grove has you covered. They offer a variety of great food options and fun non-alcoholic drinks that make it an interesting place to try. We ordered three dishes and two of their signature drinks, and our bill came to $100. While I don't mind paying for good food, the flavors didn't quite hit the mark for me overall. The flying noodles were a showstopper when they arrived, definitely Instagram-worthy. Other customers even came to our table to ask what we ordered just so they can order it! I had high hopes based on the presentation, but unfortunately, I found the dish disappointing. The noodles were undercooked, even with the gravy on top, and it might just be that I wasn't familiar with the style of this dish. The noodles just remained hard and not cooked in the gravy sauce. On the bright side, the other two dishes were fantastic! The salt and pepper shrimp had perfectly balanced seasoning, and the prawns were impressively large. The honey garlic spare ribs were a standout, each bite was tender, flavorful, and cooked evenly. As for the drinks, they were fun and creative, which is part of the appeal, but the flavors didn't quite live up to their exciting presentation.Overall, Licious has a lot of potential with its unique menu and late hours. While some dishes weren't my favorite, the ones that were done well really stood out, and I'd be open to trying more next time.

We got hungry after our massages and decided to try this place out. I have seen on social media of their "flying noodles" so that was a dish we were going to try. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and got seated right away. There wasn't anyone there except us on a Thursday evening. The restaurant had a lot of Chinese writings on the walls and there were little knick knacks around with Chinese writings on them that kept us busy as we were reading along while waiting for our food. We ended up ordering the dried scallop and egg white fried rice, the prawn flying noodles and the crab and fish maw soup. The only reason I knocked a star off was because the fish maw soup did not have real crab meat, but imitation crab. I was bummed, but the dishes we ordered were full of flavor. We enjoyed our meal and left full. I will definitely be back again.

Licious Chinese Cuisine at 9160 E. Stockton Blvd, Elk Grove, CA is a restaurant I have not visited before. The ambience of the place was very plain (see picture) and some of the tables and chairs looked like it came from a ware house store. The restaurant was very clean, including the restrooms. It is a family oriented experience. The server was very polite and attentive. She really cared and would often ask if everything's alright. The menu looked like any other Chinese Restaurant I've visited-nothing unusual. Now for the food! Before I ordered, I looked at other tables and saw the typical dishes you find at other places such as sweet and sour pork, chow mein, fried rice. Everything looked good and the patrons seem to be enjoying it.I ordered the chinese curry chicken, specifically requesting it to be MILD, wor wonton soup and steamed rice. I waited a few minutes and the soup was delivered. It tasted really good, especially the house made wontons. However, it was luke warm and not hot. A few minutes after that, out came the curry chicken. It's was hot and obviously fresh made but it was not mild. It was pretty spicy but it actually tasted excellent, so I didn't send it back. The white rice tasted good. One item that really stands out was their special blend hot green tea. Absolutely the best I've tasted.Overall I feel this is a pretty good place but not as good as others I've visited. Their special lunch menu looked good.I may return for the hot green tea and try some other dishes the next time I'm in Elk Grove.

Inside the same lot as in n out, conveniently next to the freeway, you can come and try out this Chinese restaurant in a hot pinch. It's open until 130am most nights so it's great when you're craving more than just fast food late at night. Services was okay, minimal interaction with the staff. Food was less than the services I had received. The tap water served had a soapy taste. The food I had looked appetizing, but it definitely had much to be desired.I had ordered this plate alongside eggrolls. The eggrolls were crispy on the outside, but still frozen in the middle. And this plate of glossy meat drizzled in sauce? Was mainly cartilage and soft bones, the ones that were manageable to eat were still cold in the middle.
