Excellent!!I live the ice scream is really good We did buy cheeseburger and it was delicious I took a picture of it but it was not good so next time which is next week we are going back again. The service was awesome. The waiter was awesome and checked on us not only him but a waitress but she seem like a manager very attentive making sure if we were doing good. Which I love that. The store the ambiance is the same nothing has changed it does get crowded and load which is ok. An update wouldn't hurt. Is the same all these years my husband and I been going. Do I recommend this place, absolutely!!

So much parking. Great diner. They give samples for ice cream flavors. They had such fun flavors like pistachio nut, Cookie Monster, and banana split. Also, their garlic fries were crisped perfectly. Our group stayed here and played board games for a while and this was the perfect spot for it.

My sister recommended this place as she used to visit this spot pretty often when she went to school at UC Davis. This place is cute with lots of blue and white decor. We each got a sundae, and they were both Create Your Own. I remember that I got cookies & cream and cookie monster ice cream. I liked the cookies & cream flavor more while the cookie monster was a bit more bland. Luckily the cookie parts were flavorful. The sundaes were huge! Omg... I think next time we should split one sundae. Service is friendly and attentive. Pricing is pretty good. Place is clean and have the ice cream parlour look. My sister said that they used to have heart shaped chairs, but they definitely changed to a more ordinary looking chairs. The Tuesday special looks awesome! 2 drinks, 2 entrees, and 2 sundaes for a really good price. I forgot the price. Lol...We went there on a Wednesday so missed it.They also have a few arcade machines such as mini claw machines. That's pretty fun.

I had been craving peppermint ice cream for the last 2 weeks and I'd been bugging my husband to visit Leatherby's to satisfy that craving since we had a gift card to use. It has been a couple of years since the last time we visited and I was very excited to come for dinner tonight. We ordered the Chili Cheese Hot Dog, Turkey and Cheese, Kids Hamburger and the Parlor Fries. I thought the turkey and cheese sandwich was pretty good and my husband said the hot dog was just okay (he would have like the option to have onions on top), but unfortunately, my daughter's hamburger had a very long hair on it that was not her hair color. The Manager had a new hamburger made for her and took it off the bill as well which was nice - it happens! For dessert, we ordered the kids single scoop of vanilla ice cream in a waffle cone, a triple chocolate milkshake with malt and Prancin' Pete's Peppermint Delight which definitely hit my peppermint craving and then some! The Parlor Fries were their take on Jack's Urban Fries which was a nice addition to the menu since the last time I was there and their fries overall were a lot better than I remembered.The inside was very bright and clean and I also like that this location has two different seating rooms. It also had little fake Christmas trees scattered throughout. Overall, the food wasn't anything special and the service was very slow. It wasn't even that busy the whole time we were there. The servers while very friendly and at times attentive, seemed to move pretty slow. We never once got a refill on our waters either, which I thought was a bit odd.Not sure when we'll be back again - maybe just for ice cream next time!

Maybe it's because I use to come to Sacramento as a kid, and my relatives would bring me to Leatherby's, but I always go away with a smile. Their ice cream is excellent and my all time favorite is their crab sandwich. Lately I haven't visit every time I'm in town. Now don't get me wrong, they aren't the cheapest place to eat, but it does make for a treat. This last trip, the service was very good. The crab sandwich wasn't as toasty as usual, but still rich in flavor. I would still come back, and order it again.

Absolutely loved this spot. Ice cream was freshly made and you can taste the difference. Customer service was very great. Our server name was Chee and he was the best. Took my God son and daughter for ice cream while I was in town to catch up and everyone enjoyed the ice cream and quality time. If you are in the Sacramento area I would highly recommend.

The ice cream here is amazing. They have food specials everyday that are a great price. Most of their ice creams are big enough to share also. The place is always clean, and the young kids who work there are always so polite. It is a happening place to hang out. Their Chocolate sauce is to die for. I highly recommend buying a jar

Unfortunately they can never get a DoorDash order right. Chronically they make mistakes on our order.Complete lack of attention to details.

Leatherby's is a local favorite! I came for the Tuesday special, which includes two fountain drinks, two entrees, and two sundaes for $40. I ordered an iced tea, house salad, and sundae with pumpkin pie and butter pecan ice cream, caramel sauce, whipped cream, nuts, and cherry on top! The portion sizes are huge, so be sure to come hungry. The service was quick, friendly, and accommodating. I love how lively and family friendly this spot is, and it's a great place to celebrate a birthday or drop in for a casual dinner. I will definitely be back!

Came in Saturday night for a quick bite and dessert. Was immediately greeted by Marco and sat. He brought out our menus quickly and let us know our server would be with us soon. John was our server. Polite and friendly, efficient service. As always, food and ice cream was delicious.
