If you're looking for a family, friendly casual place to eat, this is the right spot.Although there is plenty of parking available, it can get busy and there's a reason for that. The ice cream is a dream! It's always so delicious and creamy. They have the usual flavors but also have seasonal flavors that matches the season, of course.The service there has always been good, which is nice knowing that you will be taken care of.when you go in, there are two entrances. One for takeout and one for dining in I'm not sure how strict they are if you use one door or the other, but I always go around for dining in. Plus, it brings you to the dining in line just in case you notice other people in there waiting to be seated.inside is very casual, and very clean. You get the diner vibes and the cute ice cream decor around.I love how they have flat screens inside, which features some specials.They also have patio seating outside. Only thing I can say is because it can get busy, sometimes it's hard to get the check. Other than that, totally understandable. Everybody wants some Leatherby's goodness to brighten their day!

A fun hip family ice creamery with lots of flavor options for your ice cream cravings. They also serve regular food such as burgers, sandwiches, salads and fries if you are in the mood for something else. The garlic fries were delicious, and our ice creams are always loaded. Rootbeer floats are refreshing. You'll definitely enjoy yourself here. On our drive home back to Nevada we had a craving for milk shakes, ice cream and lunch and found Leatherby's off Hwy 50 in Folsom on Iron Point.Great service, delicious lunch options and yummilicious ice cream flavors this was the perfect place to satisfy us.Directions to there were easy off and on freeway, inside was family friendly, clean, and the epitome of a old fashioned ice cream parlor down to the uniforms on the helpful staff. Whether you are wanting to sample a few homemade of their ice cream flavors prior to making your selections or grabbing a booth or even a table outside to enjoy your delicious meal or ice cream cone, Leatherby's is the best choice.Our lunch was delicious, ice cream malt & shake yummyy and service was good!! We highly recommend andd enjoyed.

Came in on a Saturday night and was immediately greeted and seated right away. The service was super quick as I got my sundae right away! Their house made whip cream, fries, and ice cream is always a great dessert. I love the classic blue and white aesthetic in all their locations. Such a great Sacramento location!

This place has always been highly recommended and now I see why! We were expecting it to be crazy on a Friday night but it wasn't bad. We were greeted as soon as we got in line by multiple people and we were seated in less than 5 minutes. I will say that once we put in our order we probably got our food within 10 minutes (family of 5) could have been less time but it felt extremely fast. Everything tasted amazing and the prices were very reasonable. 2 adult entrees, 3 kids entrees, 2 adult ice creams and 3 kids ice creams came to about $150 with tip. Definitely would come back for a date night!

On the road from wine country to Tahoe, and see a billboard...great timely advertisement!!We chose the "Select your own banana split" and chose Chocolate peanut butter, praline pecan, and strawberry... good creamy ice cream but didn't have enough "stuff" in them. Huge portion that was more than my bride and I could handle...Ambiance is old timey soda fountain, service was a bit slow but friendly, and prices were slightly higher than expected.

The place is clean and staff are friendly. Service though is a bit slow despite it not being that busy. We ordered the California burger, BBQ chicken salad and Lemon Blitz sundae. The burger and salad were ok. The best part of the meal was the sundae!

Service was excellent. Our server Dezi was very attentive making sure we had everything we needed and made suggestions etc. we had the bbq tritip sandwich that came w fries. It was very tasty! We shared the black and tan for dessert. Although they seemed smaller than they used to be, it was still good. We enjoy the homemade Carmel and fudge sauces.

Hi-ya! This is the new Leatherby's for n Folsom and it maintains the same consistency of quality taste and service as the other locations.So a friend told me that she and her family really enjoy dining at Leatherbys--and I mean eating lunch or dinner in addition to the ice cream. TBH we really never order food (besides fries)--we really just come for the deserts.But this time with my friend's commentary in mind I looked around and saw the foods folks were eating and from that visual aspect---it looked good. Really good, some chicken sandwich a customer had looked has burned into my memory-- so next time.Anyway, we ordered a root beer float, the smaller banana split, fries (with ranch) and a sundae. Oh, so if you ask for a side of ranch it's an extra 0.99. Our server was fast and really courteous. And even the host that sat us clearly communicated that a booth was available, but asked for a moment while he cleared it--then sat us quickly.The only hitch if there is one is that when it came time to pay, they asked that I use credit and I wanted to use the cash I had, but it was ok.

The ice cream has additives like carrageenan that irritate digestive system, can cause a flare in people with IBS, IBD and Chrones disease!It is a banned substance in the EU!The ice cream doesn't melt on the edges like the real stuff, basically lacks flavor, especially vanilla. Without toppings, it tastes like nothin!
