Super nice staff and delicious ice cream! Has the old time parlor feel anD definitely a family spot. Would recommend tasting all the different flavors!

I went to Sacramento for a weekend and fell in love with this old fashion ice cream parlor. Friday night we stopped by and i tried just one scoop of there strawberry ice cream and we had to come back the next day. The ice cream was soooo good. It had a fresh home made taste. The second time around we ordered the rasberry fudge sundae...it was a little too sweet but still good. There banana splits are enormous and taste as good as it looks. The desserts are enough to feed 2-3 people. Too bad they don't have any Leatherby's in the San Fernando Valley....just a bunch of boring frozen yogurt places on every corner.

The one star is for service & I am only giving that cuz theur is no option for no stars. Your service SUCKS! I am standing below the "Take Out Service" sign patiently waiting as 9 people order cones & stuff ahead of me. After the last order from this family the server walks away. I have been standing here for at least 15 minutes. No one has acknowledged me. A couple comes in & starts looking at ice cream. A server asks to help them & takes them down to the next register. They get samples & place an order. I am still standing here under the sign that reads "Take out Service." Still haven't been acknowledged. 30 minutes after my arrival I am headed town to BaskinRobins so I can have some ice cream.

Amazing customer service if you enjoy ice cream delivered with a smile this is the place for you .

They have excellent ice creams...um..i love their banana ice cream with marshamellow topping!! hhahaa

This place was on my list from almost 2 yrs, though i stay in Folsom never got chance to go to this place and today finally made the trip. The location can be easily seen from the road so you shouldnt be missing it: :). Though we went for the just ice-cream we planned to have some extra snacks also. We had the Dinner salad and minestroni soup, both were really fresh and i was impressed by the taste. the bucket of fries were also freshly made and yummy. Then came the ice-cream part ....yummy it was really tasty, rich, smooth and not so heavy that is the best part. we got the family sunday which had vanilla, chocolate and strawberry with cream ...syrup ..yummm....so if you are around this place do check out the various flavours.

It's ok. They can do better. Messed up on my sandwich. Our cup had lipstick stains on it. And who's responsible for the music??? I have a headache. It's already naturally loud in here, and you're playing tasteless loud music. Tasteless. The music DOES'NT even make you feel happy, relaxed, or having a good time. I couldn't even enjoy my food. This place is depressing. The ice cream is the only good thing here. The other food sucks.

Watch out for suggested tip on receipt. It indicates that suggested tip is calculated on pre-tax amount. This is not true. Suggested tip on all percentages provided is way more than both pre-tax and after-tax amounts. We have brought this up to management several times and that don't seem to care that they are misleading customers.Like the food but not the misleading suggested tip on receipt.

We went tonight with a group. The service was bad. Drinks were never refilled and they were slow to get food and ice cream out it seemed as though they made one dish brought it out then went back to make the next one. We were ignored most the time. The waiter didn't come around to check on us or anything. Not worth the 15 percent built in the ticket because were with a group. With kids meals being about $12 each our group put a pretty penny down. A little more attention would have gotten them a bigger tip and a trip back from our family. Now we are not interested in going back.
