Ordered some pupusas for pick up, and the shop was busy, it took a few times to get through over the phone. I ordered my favorite, the revuelta, and a cheese with chicken and cheese with jalapeño for my husband. I also added the fried banana and it was all delicious! My husband doesn't normally care for pupusas, but he loved them yesterday. The phone order did take about 30 min, but that's normal when it comes to freshly made pupusas. Worth the wait.

This spot is intimate. Definitely has the "hole in the wall" feel to it. The service was nice. The staff is really friendly. It was packed out so it took more than average time to receive our order. The food on the other hand could have been better. The pupusas did not contain enough filling. It was almost like eating pure corn maize. Texture was thick, needed to drink something to wash it down. Not a place I would take my friends or "out-of-towners."

This review is based solely on the carniceria part of this place. When you walk in you are entering the restaurant portion and to the right is the carniceria/market. The smell in the carniceria was horrid, I get it's a meat market but the smell of raw meat and blood was overwhelming. The options for meat were scarce. I mean they had maybe 7 options of meat and that was it. A lot of the meat did not look appealing either unfortunately. Service was non existent as well, we waited awhile and no one came to help us so we left. Overall, sounds like their pupusas might be decent based on reviews but if you need meat, I'd for sure skip the place as an option.

Came here to kill some time and eat some pupusas. The restaurant is split between them and a little market. We ordered (8) pupusas between the three of us. We ordered one horchata and one Tamarindo aqua. The drinks were yummy and the pupusas were good. They're made fresh and came out very hot from the kitchen. Living a little far away so not sure I'll come back just for the food but would recommend as a place to try once.

First off, I have no pictures to share because I lost the opportunity when I took the first bite of the pupusa.Let me tell you, the revueletas and queso con jalapeños pupusas is where it's at!!! Hole in the wall spot, excellent service, and combined with a little market. I even got some chorizo from the butcher section for my breakfast the next day. It did not disappoint. (That I have a picture of lol)

We love this place! Not only is the food delicious but the restaurant owners are genuinely good people. We used them to cater some beans and plantains for my son's multicultural fair at his elementary school. My husband held an El Salvador table. Ronald was very helpful and generous. They lent us a hot food bin that kept all the food hot, which was very helpful. Because this was to benefit kids, they were very generous and donated 4 trays of baked goods. That was soooo nice of them. Please consider them for all your catering needs or just to get your next pupusa fix!If you've never tried pupusa, try this place!

I love coming here for great pupusas! The staff is always polite, and the family-owned atmosphere adds to the charm. They offer a variety of pupusa options beyond meat or cheese, though I've been a bit disappointed with their squash and loroco mixed with cheese pupusas as they seem to have more cheese than filling. While they do have other food options, pupusas are the standout. The only downside is the long wait times, we've experienced wait times of about 40 minutes. Despite that, I keep coming back because of the delicious food, but they could improve on their wait times.

I've been coming here for years. By far my favorite pupuseria around Sac. Service is friendly and they really work as quick as they can. It gets busy around lunch & dinner. Pupusas take about 25-30mins to make, so call them in if you're in a rush. Our favs are jalapeño y queso and the chicharron y queso. Our kids love the plain frijoles y queso. The ambience is that of pretty much any local taqueria.
