Always enjoy shopping here at ala Esperanza Supermarket. Fun stuff to shop for and the staff is so nice and helpful.

2.5 average stars for a grocery store? Sometimes I feel like people just like to complain on this app. They have a ton of authentic food and other things here, good seasoned meat in the deli, and the price is fair but not necessarily cheap. You won't find anything else like this store in the Sacramento area. Cashiers are friendly as well.

Mejor denle su negocio a la tienda más adelante, la superior. Le comenté a la cajera que tenía dos transacciones separadas, y en eso se acerca un señor mayor a embolsar lo que llevaba viendo que yo llevaba bolsa propia. Le aviso la cajera que no quería bolsa porque yo traía bolsa propia. Cuando me voltea a ver el señor y me pregunta que si ya no tengo nada más en la bolsa. Me dio coraje porque, para que me pregunta eso? Fue como un acuso cuando yo ya le había avisado a la cajera que tenía otra transacción. La superior jamás trata a su clientela con falta de respeto, de ahora en adelante iré ahí en ves de la esperanza. Les recomiendo que no le den clientes a este negocio.

Found great Mexican ingredients. Service is good, don't for get to tip your baggers! Ambience greatly resembles a Mexican American market. The Panadería us so good .

This is where I get my bottled Coke. They carry the 12 ounce and 6 ounce bottles. I like the Mexican Coke better because they use natural cane sugar and not the high fructose corn syrup. I think the flavor is better too. I can't find anywhere else that carries this and the price is ok.

I would give 0 stars if I could! The cashiers are sooooo rude it makes the "sales" or rare good prices not even worth it. Every time I come the cashiers are rude, disrespectful, and full of attitude for no reason, like hello the money I spend on items helps keep your job alive. Here's an example of their rudeness and bad customer service, a Central American cashier (not being racist but idk her name and she's the only one) with shock and awe dared asked my sister "you don't speak English?!" The damn audacity of this woman! Like what is it to you or she does or doesn't you speak both so worry about you! This happened recently and I got the cashiers name because I'm sick and tired, Marilú or Marylu or however she spells her name ignores my mom who was at the register that was a bad start, then we mentioned the gentleman arranging the fruit said we could pay 1/lb for a fruit that was the last fruit left and was already spoiling, she doesn't believes us calls the supervisor who tells her to give to us for .50!! She then QUESTIONS the supervisor asking "you sure it's 1.29/lb?" What in the actual fuck? Is the store yours? Are you loosing money? What is the point of trying to save money for an establishment that will replace you overnight because you're disposable like many many other jobs (including mine but I don't have terrible customer service). Honestly the bakery and the restaurant Los Jarritos are the only establishments worth visiting. The store? Nope I'd rather drive down the street to La Superior the customer service is much better even if the prices are not the same I'll pay more to be treated with some decency.

I've been coming to the bakery, deli, and market for years and never had any complaints until now. I came in on New Years looking for some sandwich bread. I went to the bread isle and seen some dinner rolls that were super moldy. These and two other packs. It wasn't hiding but just in plain view. This bread has been sitting for weeks! It is sad that they do not check their inventory enough to see this. I've never had a complaint with the supermarket until now.

Today I went into the supermarket and one of the workers Julie I think her name is ??She had an attitude towards me and my kids and she threatened to kick us out her store . She does not deserve to be in the United States if she going to disrespect her own people like this !!!.La superior customer service is the best !!!!!! I would give 0 stars if I could!!
