Seafood molcajete 7.5/10. Great flavor but the seafood definitely got overcooked after a few minutes.

"The Tea Is Hot, and So Is the Food!"Y'all, let me spill the tea because this place is IT! Imagine Skip's chicken vibes fused with Mexican food--yes, you read that right. This spot is a true hidden gem! I was craving some Mexican for lunch and stumbled upon this place.First of all, the service? Top-tier. They even have Kool-Aid! (That alone sold me, let's be real.) I got refried beans with rice, and my best friend got ceviche with octopus--both were ridiculously delicious. I couldn't even snap a pic because I devoured it all too fast.Oh, and the peach cobbler crumble pudding? Chef's kiss. It's like Mexican food and soul food had a beautiful, flavorful baby.Best part? The whole feast only set us back $30. Worth every penny. Mark my words--we will be back!

The lunch burritos were a great value and delicioso. The beans and rice were good too. Korina's service was quick and friendly, as usual. The restaurant is clean and inviting. There is music or tv to enjoy while you wait for your order.

Delicious! This incredible casual dining Mexican seafood restaurant, sharing a space with Skip's Chicken, is a delightful surprise in a strip mall at Franklin and Florin. The highlight is their fully loaded seafood molcajete, priced at $30, which easily feeds 2 to 3 people. It's packed with crab, mussels, scallops, shrimp, and fish, and the flavor is out of this world. We ordered giant flour tortillas to accompany it, though they also provide chips, crackers, and tostada-style tortillas. There's even a salsa bar. You can opt for the combo molcajete for $20.We also tried the cold seafood tower, which others in our group loved, though I wasn't a fan of the base sacre flavor. The menu is extensive, making this a perfect spot for breakfast, lunch, dinner, refreshments, libations, and or desserts. I can't wait for my next visit!

Sometimes it is a hit and miss with Mexican food joints. For my family it was a hit, for me it was a miss. They got full on Mexican plates and the white guy in me opted for carne asada fries. They're not as good as the San Diego ones but they were ok. Food took forever to come. The fries were kind of cold and the meat was hard to chew at times. They had mozzarella cheese instead of cheddar like in San Diego. Also, not a fan of curly fries. Service was good though. I like the vibe of this place and how they have their set up. Food was 3 stars but the service added an extra star.

This is our second time here. The food is hella good. We got street tacos, chips and salsa, and the seafood tower. All of it was amazing. The first time we got the seafood molcajete. That was bomb too.The woman that took our order, blonde chick was really nice. Woman who made our michelada was also very nice. She made the best friggen michelada. Bathrooms were clean. The whole place was very clean. We will be back!!!

The best hangover cure is a Miche and shrimp in my opinion and since this place was on my list of places to try and close to home, we gave it a shot. It is small inside! We drove past it like 3 times before we realized where it was. They partnered with Skips Fish & Chips and utilize half their space. So if you see Skips, it's the door between them and the Spicy Dragon restaurant. Upon walking in we were greeted immediately by whom I'm assuming was the owner. She was very nice and attentive. The menu had a little something for everyone and offered more than just seafood, which was nice since my daughter isn't much of a seafood fan. Our kids opted for their Quesabirria tacos and my husband and I split a tray of shrimp. We got a medium and it came with 4 flavor options of shrimp. We definitely over ordered cause the tray was huge and we had plenty of leftovers. The tacos didn't come with consome so we had to ask for that but the kids seemed to enjoy them considering out of the 10 tacos that were ordered, they only took home 2. The shrimp come fully intact, heads included. This was a turn of us but I do understand being marinated and cooked in the shells helps retain the flavor. Aesthetically, it's just not very appealing and a pain to peel when you're starving. We got Ajo (garlic), a la Kora, diabla and one other that the owner recommended but I can't remember the name of. Each one was kind of sweet, even the diabla but we still enjoyed them. We also asked for a side of rice and beans which they seemed to had forgotten about but honestly was for the best since the shrimp serving was so large we probably wouldn't have had room to eat anything else. We both got the Micheladas fully garnished. It came with 1 shrimp, cueritos, hot Cheetos and cucumber. It was super refreshing and just what we needed! Overall, it was a nice meal and being close to home, this will for sure be a place we will consider again. Especially on hot days when a Michelada would just hit the spot.

The food was way over priced for the little amount of food and it took around 1:30 hours for a seafood bowl. They said it was for two people only having 5 shrimp and 1 set of crab legs. the place smelled bad and the food did not taste good at all. The picture on the menus were from the internet. Would not advise
