Can't make a iced matcha latte. It's not only just like the flavor, but the fact that there's all these little balls of Matcha throughout the freaking drink to the point where the match is not blended at all it's like they didn't know how to take hot water blend that with the Matcha to actually break up the Matcha they just poured freaking scoops of Matcha with milk.

I guess this has been around here for awhile and a lot of people come here but the place shows signs of wear. Staff is not vet knowledgeable about what they are serving. Questioned the bah mi sandwich and they couldn't tell us exactly what it was, I also asked if it had pate which is traditional and they didn't know what that was. My mom liked it thou.

Went in at almost closing time to order a salad and some bread with dill sauce.. there was no line which was fantastic. I was greeted promptly and my order was taken by a very nice cashier. I took my number sat down and my order was delivered to me before I even got settled in the chair. Restaurant was clean and orderly and since I was there at almost closing time the cashier was also sweeping and preparing the restaurant for closure. But she always made sure the customer was taken care of by not making us wait for her to continue cleaning. My order was accurate and tasted delicious!

This was my first time having a breakfast burrito from Labou and it'll probably be my last. The burrito was pretty bland. It just needed salt and surprisingly enough, the bacon wasn't salty enough. The burrito really needed hot sauce too and funny enough, they give you "hot sauce". It tasted like the pace you buy at the grocery store. Ugh, that's not real hot sauce! I'll stick to their pastries from now on.

So, I have eaten LA Boulangerie croissants for over 30 years. I first went when they were a little shop on J Street with a line of customers out the spring-loaded front door. The croissants were 85 cents each and were flaky buttery perfections of this wonderful pastry. I just went to the store on Howe (I haven't been to a La Bou in 2 years), and it was lousy. I bought a Cinnamon Nut Croissant that was a piece of DDDRRRYYY bread. The nuts were microscopic, and it had no cinnamon flavor. Then to add insult to injury, it was almost $4.00.As for service, it's adequate. The ambiance I can't say other than it's a ghost town. Nobody goes to THIS La Bou for pastries.

The tomato bisque was good, but the 1/2 turkey sandwich was the worst sandwich you could conjure up. Two small slices of deli turkey, one slice of tomato, not even a whole leaf of lettuce. I've seen kid's sandwiches in school lunches be better prepared. Not worth the $15.00 it costs at all.

Very underwhelmed by the food. Had the jambon gruyere Bistro sandwich. Looks and tastes like pressed ham, gruyere barely melted and that was it, no lettuce, tomato, nothing. You can see cheese was not evenly spread on the bread so some bites were bland ham on a not great "baguette". I won't be returning. Caesar salad that came with it was decent. This was a to go order that I ordered at the restaurant.

Seriously, what happened to La Bou? Food quality/items are terrible now.Howe Ave location, ordered spicy thai soup & I took 2 bites & threw the entire thing away. Tasted like canned soup, very bland, chicken chunks tasted processed & since when is rice included in the thai soup? Asian chicken salad noodles were under cooked. Only good thing I got were hard boiled eggs & dill sauce. I remember La Bou used to be so solid with food quality & taste, you could not go wrong with anything on the menu. Now it's just sketchy & sad. Will not be returning.
