La Bou Rocklin

I have been going to La Bou with my friend for about 18 years. It's amazing how Nancy still remembers us even though we don't go in as often! The food is so high-quality and their house salad with the avocado cheese and their dill dressing is amazing. Mmmmm! I always appreciate their great customer service and that they remember our face and make it a great experience.

Came here for lunch to meet a friend last week. I always look forward to la bou for their creamy tomato bisque. Unfortunately, I believe they have changed the recipe for the soup. It used to be my absolute favourite tomato soup. I will have to find something else I like. But there are tons on the menu. The house salad was still great and my friend enjoyed her Chinese chicken salad (not pictured). I love to order their dill dressing on the side to dip the bread in. I will continue coming here for the friendly, fast service and healthy and tasty food.

Love this location, the food, and especially all of the women working here. Sandwiches are delicious and carefully crafted, I tend to opt for the half and half. Most recently half sandwich (veggie) and half soup (clam chowder). Their savory items always hit the spot and don't even get me started on the pastries. Latte was nice and milky but don't be mistaken, they pack a good punch. Best money we have spent in quite some time. Highly recommend!

Quick and friendly. Food is good but I view this place more as a time crunch type stop. Very good pastries and service so I would recommend.

I've been coming here for over a decade and I'mashamed that I haven't written a review sooner. But late is better than NEVER?! It's small and cute with a decent amount of tables to sit at. The sandwiches and salads are always so incredibly good. I almost always get their Chinese chicken salad and Thai chicken soup. It's my favorite! The chicken salad is loaded with sliced chicken breast and lots of peanuts. That soup is incredible too, I haven't been able to find a soup like it anywhere!?! I have searched for the recipe online to no avail. Anyway, I'm a fan of LaBou and there isn't a location I didn't like. The service and food is always great. I've never had a disappointing experience hence why I've been a long time customer.

Disappointed in the spicy Thai chicken soup. I've included two photos here. One of what it should look like and one I received. They used to use wild rice but now they use short grain white rice which gets thick and mushy. No cilantro on my order either. Disappointing

This will be the last time I come here. As I watch in amazement not 1 but 2 women making order after order with gloves on. THE SAME GLOVES. They never once changed them so who knows how long they had been wearing them. Watching them touch LITERALLY EVERY SINGLE THING INCLUDING FOOD with the same gloves that they just grabbed your lettuce with and your chicken and bread bread, back and forth from all the handles knobs, lids, all the way back to the microwave door and buttons and so and so forth. Making sandwiches and salads never once changing gloves. Until it was pointed out. I will not be back. Gloves are ment to be changed and used for food handling to protect customers not to just keep the employees hands clean because they can't be bothered to WASH them or change gloves between orders it defeats the purpose. I didn't make a scene I took my order and walk out.

The Chinese chicken salad had 4 pieces of actual salad and the rest was Cole slaw filling. Skimping on ingredients is not ok.

First off, when did they stop making their fabulous muffins??? Second, when did they turn their establishment into just a storage facility? Food is not bad but pricey. I don't get how this happens. Makes you feel like it's unclean. This used to be a great place but I won't be going back!

Super friendly staff! Their drinks and food are fresh and delicious. My friends said their Thai Tea & Pesto Chicken were delicious & refreshing
