L'Occitane

Moisturize me and call me pretty! All of that can be accomplished in one visit to L'Occitane! Their products are top quality and worth it. They might be on the pricey side, but one small tube will last you a lot more than those other fancy scented lotions that you buy at the overcrowded trendy stores. Go there for the fads, but come here for your skin!

I have never left a negative review on Yelp before. However, I was so surprised of the terrible customer service I experienced at this store. I have been coming for years to buy a certain cologne for my boss who is a doctor and his team when they go oversees to help other countries. They use it for bug spray as it is the only all natural liquid that works for them. A few of the non local men on the team called me this week telling me they have not been able to find it in their malls so I called the store on Monday and came to purchase 2 of the colognes. And then I called the next day after 2 more men said they needed it and the store let me know they would be closing early at 7:30pm. I said I would rush there but would get there close, yet before 7:30pm as I needed to have the cologne. They assured me they would be open.I had a 14 hour day and showed up before 7:30pm and they were closed. I let them know it was before 7:30pm and I needed those colognes. I asked them to please help me and that I had called. They said they decided to close 30 mins earlier for inventory. Today I had to go back again as the team is leaving tomorrow. I had to go back to Elk Grove after to get it to the team, making it a 16 hour day. There was no customer service yesterday or today to make up for what happened. I explained it to them today as well. I have never had a company do something like this and I expected much more from them being how much business we've brought and our loyalty all these years. I will be be bringing my business elsewhere -- online or to a different location.

LOVE L'Occitane...a great place to buy well made skin care products. Their products are imported from France and made from natural ingredients so everything smells really good. Their fragrances smell very true to their source. I specifically come here for their soaps and perfumes - the citrus verbena is my favorite! Men who care about this kind of stuff, they have a section of the store dedicated to you! Cologne, soaps, and shaving cream!It can be a splurge in terms of price, but the products are well worth it, and still a bit better priced than Nordstrom. There always seems to be a free gift with purchase and I always leave with samples, so that's another plus. The customer service is always on point. The staff has always been helpful and they tolerate how neurotic I am when it comes to picking out a fragrance. Highly recommended!

A very nice L'Occitane boutique in Sacramento. While it is a smaller store, the staff is very friendly and they had some great black friday sales!They sell an amazing cologne for men here called "Eau De Baux", and its one of my all time favorites. Its made out of vanilla, amber, incense and tobacco. Its one of the most sensual and warm fragrances I wear.L'Occitane also has great skin care from their Immortelle line, as well as their shampoo (It has such a cult following, it always sells out!)For the price point, L'Occitane has great products that are on par or even better than some of the high end skin care lines you would find at Nordstrom or Bloomingdales.

I visited again this past weekend. I still had to buy my shaving soap which I was unable to do last visit.This time, I was greeted and assisted by a gentleman named Nick.Nick was OUTSTANDING!!!!I was very pleased with my visit, the assistance he provided, and his overall service.

An amazing skincare store. The divine cream is absolutely magic. I bought the eye cream, toner, extract, and cream from the divine range and my skin is flawless.

Simply the best customer service!! I always get free samples with my purchase, who doesn't love that? The store is small but organized. I am a fan! Also...Verbena? Yum! Divine? Yes, please!!

I tried a sample of the Precious Cream and loved the fragrance and texture. I purchased a jar and after using it for three days and nights had a bad reaction to it. My nose and forehead became dry and itchy. I went back to the store and the manager waited on me. I told her I had a bad reaction to the Precious Cream and asked for a refund. She informed me they do not give refunds but could exchange it for another product. I simply stated to the manager that I was hesitant to exchange for something else since I had an awful reaction. She then told me that she couldn't help me and asked me to leave the store. I was shocked at her reaction considering she didn't offer to show me another product that may not be as irritating or offer any other assistance or customer service. She did not want to deal with me and asked me to leave! I asked what to do with the cream that I couldn't use and she gave me the customer service number to call and promptly asked me again to leave the store. I guess that is the alternative if you don't want to deal with a customer. You will be asked to leave if they don't feel like helping you. Talk about the easy way out, what has happened to customer service and upholding the respect of your place of business and the company. I guess it doesn't matter if you are having a bad day, just take it out on the customer!
