If you want your child to excel in math and reading skills, enroll them in Kumon. My grandson has been attending Kumon since he was in the 2nd grade and I cannot believe how well he does in math and reading. He is 2-3 grades higher in his learning. I remember when he was in the 4th grade, he was already proficient in the 6th grade subject. Kudos to Kumon!!!

Glad to see that at least one person is having a good experience with this center. Me? I never made it through the door. My phone conversation with their representitive (he would only identify himself as Mr. 'M') was a horror. I was interested in enrolling my child and called to get information about class times and costs. This should be a pretty straightforward conversation when calling to find out about any new business. This Mr. M though proved truculent when I asked about course dates/times and became downright surely when I inquired about tuition. He became evasive when I attempted to ascertain the cost differences between weekday versus weekend attendance and when I asked for specifics, was told that I was inferring that they wanted to turn a profit (huh!?) and that I should take my business elsewhere. Then Mr. 'M' hung up. The whole experience proved surreal. Was this guy on drugs or simply taking his bad day out on me? Hard to tell through his accent. Anyway, I'm not chancing a visit to this location . . . I'll have to find another. Should you decide to go there, you probably should make sure your next of kin know where you're going and that they have your DNA sample handy. God only knows what you can expect from actually going there. Good luck!

Have to admit, it's been a rough road with this Kumon all the time. We only do the math portion not the other language portion and I can't imagine doing both. However I wouldn't change a thing and I would reenroll my son again. Some of the biggest difficulties is balancing his Kumon work with his homework and other extracurricular activities such as Greenhaven Soccer and Pocket Little League. But I wouldn't go back and change anything. This is a good program that I would recommend.
