Great food and wine. Very good and friendly service. It's a small place, but if you call early you can reserve a table. Trivia night was fun! I will definitely be back.

Better late than never (this review is long overdue) and Leave it to Yelp to introduce me to Kork #wines #charcuterie #flyforfun #flyforwineRoaming around the Sacramento vicinity and passing a couple hours away, I find this place on Yelp by some person who had an ROTD for this establishment that day. Okay, while Fair Oaks was not my final destination, it was on my way so I decide to stop and check it out (#flyforwine)Cute little establishment sits about 8 maximum on the bar, about another dozen on the floor and a few tables on the patio and that's it!Wine selection very local so you might find something you've not seen anywhere else. I chose their red wine flight. They have the white and rose flights also. Didn't ask about the bubbles but I'm sure they have a bubbles flight as well.While I didn't order it, I did see other patrons with their charcuterie boards that did look pretty darn delicious. If I get back to Kork I might give their charcuterie board(s) a try.Service good while there's only one server and He is the bartender, server, table cleaner and all. Get the picture?Atmosphere is dimly lit, pretty nice "wine" atmosphere if you ask me!So if you're in the Fair Oaks vicinity and looking for a quick wine, this might be the place for you

My wife and I absolutely love this place. Such a cozy little neighborhood wine bar. The happy hour prices are outstanding and the selection of wines by the glass and bottle is fantastic. The owners/bartenders/cooks/do-everything's are the best! During the nicer weather the outside seating on the patio is super relaxing as well. Definitely stop by and support a local small business if you're in the area!

Cute little place. Yummy little snacky foods. The people working are attentive. I would say come here for the cute and quaint wine bar atmosphere with little bites.

WOOHOO!! BEST FIND EVER!!So we were looking on YELP for a wine bar to have a little vino and maybe a snack. We found a place - not too far away and decided to give it a try. It was a little hard to find because it's on a major intersection corner (Madison Ave and Fair Oaks Blvd). And it's kind of hidden in the back corner of a little Strip type Mall. IT'S TRULY AWESOME!We walked in and it was not crowded at all. Two or three people at the bar - who obviously knew each other. It happened to be the Host's (Steve's) Birthday and some people had brought him gifts and cards.So we looked at their wine list and found quite a delightful assortment of wines in a very attractive price range. For the first glass we had the Viognier from Lewis Grace. I've always been a fan of this varietal and this is a beauty. We also had the Dashwood Sauvignon Blanc which is another delicious wine. And New Zealand Sauv Blancs are our favorite.And to finish this first exciting visit, I chose the Findleton Estate Syrah - which was a real treat!!Now, whilst we were enjoying our AWESOME Sips, we decided to try some Snacks. The list is quite eclectic and it was hard to decide where to start. We went for the Housemade Stuffed Mushrooms - which were absolutely fantastic! I wanted more but there's so many other things to try. They have quite a few flatbreads which are, "Made with Love by Amber..." another patron told us they were great so that's what we had. We opted for the Smoked Salmon Flatbread, which was AMAZING. The Marscapone cheese really accents the salmon. We then had the Charcuterie Board - what a great choice that was. What a GREAT Place. The atmosphere reminds me of the sitcom, "Cheers" because it seems like a good part of the people know each other. Maybe because it was the host's birthday, but it IS a very comfortable atmosphere. It's very clean. The music is nice and not intrusive - which happens so often. The restroom is Immaculate and nicely decorated - not like the usual places. The service is excellent. Steve is always on the move. It's not fast food. Each Snack is individually prepared right there on the back bar. So it may take a few minutes. But I promise you that it's well worth the wait. I saw at least one reviewer who didn't want to make KORK more popular, to keep it to themself. WE AGREE. But its so good, I want to share...They have some tables inside and a nice bar to at which you can sit. There's a TV on the wall to watch sports. There's also an outside patio with tables for those who want to sit in the outdoors. KORK is truly a GEM of a place. I would give it a higher score if I could. We willcontinue to come back again and again! The pictures didn't come out too well. I put more up later.

Cute little place squeezed in the back corner of a mini mall. Very nice inside, however; we arrived a few minutes early and were told to wait outside. It was 2:55 and the place was to open at 3:00. So we waited and were told we could come in once he got the chairs down and organized. We finally were let in at 3:10. The owner was still putting down all the chairs and I was very thirsty so he put a water container on a table so you could get your own water and the glasses were all greasy and dirty... no ice just greasy glasses. Then we were told if we wanted to see anything on the menu to scan the QR code. We ordered some wine and a tiny 8 inch pizza. I asked him if we could please have some napkins because our drinks were sliding across the table. There was absolutely no friendly effort or anything that made you feel welcomed. I felt like there was no communication and the place was not a friendly environment at all and we were the only people in the place. We will NOT be back... Our bottle of wine, one beer and a tiny 8 inch pizza was $52. Next-door a Mexican place is opening up very soon with a full bar, outdoor seating and I'm sure they're gonna have music. I think this will be the place to have fun and goodbye Kork. It could've been a wonderful experience if the owner would've been friendly, showed up 15 minutes before opening and had the place ready for customers to walk in and talked with us and told us about the different wines he had, explained maybe some specials and just had a personality and smile. We felt like it was an inconvenience for us to be there... So sad because this place could be a hotspot.....

1000% THE BEST HIDDEN WINE GEM FROM SAC - FOLSOM for Wine tasting. Meaage to all my fellahs - "Take your lady here. It's a great genuine vibe." Close Mexican food next door, and you can quickly head off to old Fair Oaks right after. 10 outta 10!!!

The male owner/bartender, is epic! Great guy, very catering and truly cares about his customers. Super friendly vibe the minute you walk in! Big fan and we will spread the word and always be back!

Amazing, calming, and COZY neighborhood ambience and pleasant service! I have not tried the food but every wine we sampled was excellent, which is rare because normally I have one or two out of a flight that I am not a huge fan of. The aesthetic is very Nashville meets Tuscan meets casual. Ladies come dressed in your date night outfit with your boo or come in your athleisure with your friends after yoga. Highly recommend!

Omg! I love Kork! The owners Steve and Amber are amazing, super attentive and serve the most delicious food and amazing selection of wines. This is a must visit wine bar in Fair Oaks. They always have new and delicious options that are seasonally fabulous. - Amber is so creative. She always has fun events here. They also have some lovely beers on tap too. You're bad if you don't spend some time here. There's always a great crowd here. Cheers!
