Kolbeh Kabob

Buttery soft koobideh. Savory tomato-y eggplant appetizer. Gormeh sabzi goodness. Friendly service.Venue gives me an Italian feel but I'm surprised I've never stumbled upon this Persian restaurant before.Delish!

This place is great. I've been coming here since 2014 I think, but since it's a little out of the way for me, I come here only once or twice a year. This year, I brought my Persian friends who were visiting from Europe here, and they were all so impressed and had such a wonderful time and the staff were so amazing. The waitress who served us, was a cheerful, pleasant lady who decided to show off her amazing memory by remembering and quickly rehearsing the entire order (including appetizers and mains and drinks) for all 11 of us in one breath without having taken a single note which was very entertaining. Everyone's food was great. The only thing that we didn't love was the dolmas which kinda tasted like the canned ones. Like it didn't have that homemade Persian dolma taste, idk why. But we had barg kabob, shish kabob, joojeh kabob, veggie kabobs, bademjoon, gheimeh, mast moosir, and of course the dolmeh. Everything was cooked to perfection and everyone loved their food very much. the ambiance was amazing too, and we were never rushed. One of our guests had brought his poetry book to gift to us all, and at the end of our dinner, he stood up, spoke to us, and then read one of his favorite poems for us. At no point did we feel rushed, or awkward during the whole dinner which was also very awesome. Overall, if you're in the mood for Persian food and are in the area, I think you might enjoy visiting Kolbeh.

Excellent food & service! Having had countless experiences in Persian restaurants in Europe & America, this is by far the best!I've been married to a Persian for 26 yrs, whose family has many excellent cooks, and this restaurant is able to capture that excellence- the bread is amazing!

Absolutely delicious and authentic Persian food. The employees are very kind and gracious. This restaurant will transport you into the Middle East. Highly recommend for kabobs!!

This cozy, unassuming spot might not catch your eye at first glance. The menu is simple but packed with classics tender kabobs, fragrant saffron rice, and silky stews. I loved all the different flavors, textures and herbs! The portions are generous, the prices are reasonable, and the staff is very attentive. Don't skip the house-made bread or the shallot mast-o-khiar.A true hidden gem worth seeking out!

Conveniently situated on Greenback , is a very nice place for a quaint dinner , great middle eastern food , Hummus , kebabs, the chicken kebabs will melt in your mouth , savory rice , veggie kebabs, all amazing flavors , plus nice ambiance! I definitely recommend!

Unfortunately, I only got a picture of the ice cream. But it was really good here. The food was fresh and amazing. It was nice and hot and had amazing flavors. Also, our food came super quickly and the service was satisfactory. The ambience was very calming and nice. Please come here if you like Persian food!!

LISTEN!! GOOSH BEDEH!!! I'm a whole hater because my mom makes the best Persian food in the game BUT GOOD LORTTTT!! This place is so freaking GOOD. It's like that scene in ratatouille when the food critic eats the food and is transported back to his childhood. This place invokes those exact feelings with their Persian food. They took my bro back to his childhood and brought memories of how they make kabobs in Iran for my mother. I personally haven't been back to try but being a foodie.... This place is amazing. The chicken is JUICY, the koobideh is soft and full of flavor. Everything is delicious and harmonious. The staff is friendly, and the ambience is home-y. They have a nice warm/dim vibe going on with Persian instrumental music playing. Thoroughly enjoyed celebrating my bros bday here!

The ambiance is great! Very friendly, clean. Food is made fresh to order. The bread, cheese and herbs are always a favorite. It has been awhile since i have been here. I will be back again soon. I would recommend.

The food was fantastic! Highly recommend, authentic taste. We took it to go, but next time we will dine in.
