Happy hour on Monday is from 3:30 to closing time and 3:30 - 6:30 PM on other days. The location is a bit unexpected, but I appreciate them having an actual parking lot so it was super easy to park. The first thing we saw upon entry was a koi pond, which suits the restaurant very well. We went during happy hour, which was surprisingly not too full that day. The waitress was super friendly and patient with us while we ordered through the menu. Salmon Bomb - Not on the happy hour menu, but highly recommend. It comes in four spoons and was super flavorfulOysters - Recommend to get them grilled. The raw ones were also good, but the grilled ones get extra sauces on top that smelled super good.Spicy Tuna Handroll - Generous amount of tuna and sauce. The seaweed stayed pretty crunchy even though I ate the other foods in between1920 Roll - The most filling part of our dinner. The different textures and flavors were great to enjoyAjitama Scotch Egg - We got this because it sounded interesting, but I don't think it's really worth it. It's good, but it can be skipped if you're looking to try the other things. It's a soft boiled egg with minced meat around it and fried for a katsu look. It's unique, but didn't impress me as much as the rest of the food did

First off, all of us loved the fact that there was a parking lot- hassle free. At the entrance, there were many koi fish. I think kids would enjoy looking at them. We came here for happy hour, which lasts from 3:30-Close Monday and 3:30-6:30 Tuesday-Saturday. We ordered many of the rolls- happy salmon, happy albacore, Timon roll, Pumbaa roll, 1920 roll, and fire & ice. Overall, I enjoyed all of them. We also ordered fried food from the kitchen- gyoza, vegetable tempura, shrimp tempura, and karaage. They came out crunchy and hot. My friends enjoyed them more so than I did. There is only one waitress and she was great. She was friendly and provided everything we needed. Thanks for a great time!

Went here for the first time on my birthday. Koi pond inside was very cute however the place was super cold inside. Both my friend and kept our jackets on because of it. The music was also so incredibly loud we could barely hear each other over the small plastic tables. Our main issue though was our server. She was nice but her behavior made her appear new. We ordered the chicken skewer appetizer, teriyaki chicken, eel hand roll and chefs large nigiri. It all came out at different times with large gaps in between. I was given the hand roll right away and my friend was served their main teriyaki dish. After 10 min of waiting I asked the server if our app was coming. She said they took awhile (so why would you put all the orders in right away). We ended up really frustrated because we both awkwardly had random parts of our meals at the table but one of us would end up watching the other eat while waiting for their meal. The skewers finally came out and then my nigiri shortly after. The random assortment wasn't explained at all so I guessed what fish I was eating. It was okay quality but for over $34 it didn't seem on par with other local spots. The teriyaki was cold by the time we started but was a very generous portion with nice flavor (I understand we chose to wait but it also shows how long we were waiting). The chicken skewers were phenomenal and I'd heavily recommend as the char is excellent. The handroll was over half rice a little filling and I'd just recommend skipping it. One last thing is that the salad that they give you came in this half bowl that made eating or sharing it insanely impractical, we kept accidentally spilling it on the table and cleaning it up. I have no idea why you'd choose that style for eating. Our server did not check up on us until after we'd finished eating. Did not tell us how long the wait until more food was coming and did not refill waters or even come by the entire time. It really made the experience unpleasant and awkward. We still tipped but we aren't coming back and won't be recommending it. I think they have a lot of potential but need to get a lot of the severing part sorted out.

What can I say but that I thoroughly enjoyed it here! Love that they had their own parking so it was hassle free. Decor was very fitting for a modern Japanese spot. Especially enjoyed the koi matching the name. The wait staff was beyond nice! All the dishes came out hot and fresh. I truly enjoy hot foods coming out hot! It really makes the experience above and beyond imo. Happy hour was definitely a bonus! The waitress even took one roll off our tab for my birthday! How sweet is that?! I will definitely have to say, this was my first time here but won't be my last!

All-day happy hour deals on Monday with $12 rolls and $6 hand rolls. Service was unfortunately pretty slow, but the food was all good. Most of the rolls on the happy hour menu have something fried or come with a mayo based sauce, so I'd actually recommend just ordering nigiri if that's not your speed. All of the nigiri I've tried here has tasted fresh and delicious.

Great spot for Happy hour! We came here around 5pm and there was no wait. Happy hour starts from 3:30pm to 6:30pm. There is an extensive menu during happy hour. Speciality rolls such as the "kitchen sink" and "simba roll" were $12 and simple rolls were $8. They also had discount on drinks and appetizers. The service was excellent and our server was so nice and attentive. She also gave us some fish food so we could feed the koi fish!

Ordered take out several times over the holidays. The food was amazing each time. The folks working here are so friendly. They even explain the level of spice so there are no surprises. We ordered 2-3 various rolls each time, soup, and edamame. Inside the atmosphere is also nice. The Koi pond immediately inside when you enter is beautiful. We will repeat, dine in soon, and bring our kiddo.
