Kobe Steak & Sushi Hibachi Grill & Bar

The last time I had hibachi was at least 14-15 years ago. When my friends suggested hibachi, I was intrigued and somewhat excited because it's been awhile. Even though we had 6 people in our group, we still had to share the table with a small family. It wasn't a big deal but it was a little awkward and I think we expected to have the table to ourselves. The menu is extensive. Besides hibachi, they also serve sushi. I saw a sign for AYCE sushi at 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the entrance. I wasn't hungry and went with the Chicken solo entrée that comes with rice, soup, salad, vegetable and two shrimps. You can upgrade to fried rice for $2 extra. The food was decent. I didn't have anything that would prompt me to come back. The show was fun. A lot of food tossing and squirting sake. I also think it was the company that I was with that made it a fun meal. Service was okay. Our waitress had a short fuse. I got the impression that she thought my questions was annoying. Maybe she was having a bad day. I can only see myself returning if I have out of town guests visiting and they specifically ask for hibachi. LOL.

Food was average,service didn't seem to care, maybe cuz it was lunch and I was alone, but the place was kinda empty. Nice atmosphere But the real kicker was the 30% service charge that was not disclosed Then I could see disappointment when I did not tip...Half of my bill to gratuity?I think notWill not be back

Experienced my first hibachi meal at Kobe Steak & Sushi and had the best time! The hibachi proteins are cooked in a butter garlic soy sauce and is soo tasty. The seafood is also finished off with some lemon juice too.I was actually so surprised by how much I liked their sushi! Tbh, I came when they first opened years ago and never came back because I wasn't impressed. They've since changed management and I can really see the improvements! All the rolls had their own distinct flavor and weren't drowning in sauce. Also, those fish cuts were FATTT. The service lady yelled at the top of her lungs that it sounded rude. The portions for my steak, lobster, and shrimp were very small. The scallops were not properly cooked. All parties ordered the steam rice with the meal and they gave us fried rice which was an additional $2.00 each. I will not visit that establishment again.

Usually we eat here but tonight I didn't have enough time to sit in and after a long work day and sports with the children. I decided to just order some good food. Kobe Steak & Sushi. You never disappoint. I called in a last minute order and you were able to deliver in a short amount of time. Thank you for letting me place a last minute order.

Nice little Hibachi place in Elk Grove. Wasn't initially looking for dinner and a show but If I'm coming to a place like this I am defintely going to partake!Our chef was great and really engaging. Food was decent and I think the scallops were the best thing on the menu.The drinks at the bar ended up being STRONG. Note to self that some places take an AMF seriously!

We loved our experience at Kobe Steak & Sushi! The hibachi show down was super entertaining! I was really surprised that they don't require reservations for small parties. You must call to reserve if you have more than 5 guests. We were immediately greeted and sat down shortly after we arrived. We started with drinks soup & salad. I loved the salad dressing! It had some peanut undertones. We ordered sushi as an appetizer, the Elk Grove roll was delicious!!I had salmon as my main dish and husband ordered steak. Our chef was super interactive and gave my husband tons of sake! He was very generous on the mouth pour, it was pretty funny!The portions are super large and I couldn't finish everything on my plate. Tons of grilled veggies, delivery fried rice, and the honey glaze on the salmon really stole the show! We will definitely come back for another date night!

Ordered delivery through DoorDash. It came quickly and was still warm when it arrived. My mom ordered the shrimp and chicken hibachi plate and I ordered the sushi rolls- the Rainbow and the Dragon. I tried the shrimp in the plate. It was a great texture and really flavorful. I also loved the rolls. They were comparable to other sushi restaurants who sell a similar variation of the Dragon and Rainbow. The ginger is really good here as well, and they are not stingy with the serving sizes. I have dined in and ordered pickup from here before and I thoroughly enjoy it each time. They are consistently good. Excited to try more rolls and their hibachi.

We had an amazing time at Kobe Steak House! The hibachi experience was so much fun, and it kept everyone at the table entertained from start to finish. The chef was incredibly skilled and added a bit of comedy to the show, which had everyone laughing. Our kids absolutely loved it--especially when they got to catch pieces of food in their mouths!The food itself was delicious, from the perfectly cooked steak to the fresh veggies. We were blown away by how everything tasted. But beyond the food, what really stood out was the attentiveness of the staff. They made sure we had everything we needed and went above and beyond to ensure our family had a great experience. If you're looking for a place to enjoy great food and have a little fun, this is the spot! We can't wait to come back.

This quiet place just off of Laguna in Elk Grove is a hidden gem for sure. Not many people often visit, but you'll regret it if you don't!This hibachi spot has super friendly staff and the place caters to all ages. The amount of attentiveness they have to customers is amazing.My girlfriend and I had the surf n turf. The veggies were sautéed real well. Tossed, charred, and buttery. The meats (steak and shrimp) was juicy and succulent, no where to be left dry.The entertainment was fun and exciting!
