Hole in the wall Vietnamese spot serving up some A1 pho and Banh mi sandwiches! I particularly liked the egg rolls. The crunch on them was perfect. Meaty filling and soft cabbage. They were perfect. The bread of the banh mi was soft. The ingredients inside were fresh. The grilled chicken was really good. It's a popular spot as people got orders to go and some sat down to eat as I did. It's not too big inside but they cater to everyone very well. Service here was nice. The lady working the counter was on top of things.

3 Years later, and I'm finally back again. I had some work to do in the area, so I decided to have lunch here. It was raining pretty badly, so pho sounded like the best option. The only thing that has changed since the last time I was here are the prices, but that is unavoidable, due to the direction this economy is going. The quality has not changed, still absolutely amazing and heart-warming with every sip of broth. The Banh Mi has a good amount of fillings for the price, and the bread is nice and fluffy, but also has a great crispiness. The service is very quick and attentive - I ordered my food, and it was all out within 5 minutes! There are only four or five people total working the store (front and back of house), but the attentiveness and consideration for the guests is great!Like last time, the surrounding area is pretty sketchy, but you cannot fall to the restaurant for that. This place is a great pic for any business people in the area wanting some good noodle soup or just a quick sandwich on the go.

My coworker brought me to Kim's Vietnamese for the first time a little while ago and I was very impressed! It is walkable distance from my work, so very convenient if I'm craving some Vietnamese food. I ordered the BBQ Pork banh mi and enjoyed it very much! It was bigger than the average banh mi and the price wasn't bad at all! I thought the meat to veggie ratio was perfect as well. Service was very fast when I went in as they had some of the banh mis premade, so I was handed mine right after I paid. The restaurant is small, so I would keep that in mind, but very nice place!

Came here for a quick lunch break and this place did not disappoint. Their broth is 10/10. So light and a bit sweet but not too much. There was an ample amount of meat and I was full at the end. The service was quick and prompt and we found seating in the back. Highly recommend this place for pho. Will be back to try their sandwiches next

Hole in the wall with a line out of the door with all the courthouse and state workers stopping in. Pho here is classic and very yummy, always comes out hot and has all the fixins you desire. Love the Banh Mi sandwiches. I always get pork and it's loaded with tender juicy pieces every time. Spring rolls are great and their peanut sauce here is incredible. Small menu, very small and cozy indoor area, small staff always welcoming and eager to get your food out to you as soon as possible. For a simple small place I feel obligated to write a simple small review, but I have to say I'm so happy to have come across this place. Always delicious and hits my Vietnamese food craving every time.

Don't judge a book by its cover! Food - The pho was comforting but was overall average! I'm just glad it did the job, got me full and satisfied my pho craving. It wasn't amazing, but it was good enough. Normally, I fan girl over a pho with mind-blowing broth. My friend ordered a bahn mi and she said it was delicious !Service - SUPER fast. Ordered and 5 mins later they brought over the food. I don't think some of the workers understand English which is fine! But if you need something, just ask the employees at the front! You order before you get your food. Ambiance - It looks kind of sketchy at the front of the restaurant and the layout of the interior is small - but they have some seating at the back of the restaurant. Pretty dimly lit, but not unbearable. Overall - decent pho , friendly and fast service, for a busy downtown lifestyle.

I absolutely love the people here and the food is really good too! The broth is that pure delicious broth you hope for . It's got that good MSG taste that I love ! The service is fast and the owners are friggin amaze balls!! Sometimes the lady in front can guess her regulars orders when they walk in. They honestly have the best egg rolls. It's a greasy fat ball of deliciousness. I love it . Make the visit !

I recently dined at Kim's Vietnamese, and I must say, the experience left me with a satisfied stomach and a smile on my face. The portion sizes here are generous, making it a go-to spot for those craving a hearty bowl of pho without breaking the bank. The affordability of the menu is a standout feature. In a world where prices seem to skyrocket, Kim's Vietnamese manages to provide sizable portions at a reasonable cost. This alone earns them extra points in my book. You get your money's worth and then some, making it a great choice for a budget-friendly yet fulfilling meal. Now, onto the service. While it didn't dazzle me, it was perfectly adequate. The staff was friendly enough, and our orders were brought to the table in a timely manner. They weren't overly attentive, but they got the job done. If you're looking for a quick and straightforward dining experience without too much fuss, this might just be the place for you.The star of the show, of course, is the pho itself. The broth is rich and flavorful, and the noodles have that perfect chewiness that one looks for in a bowl of Vietnamese noodle soup. The variety of toppings and condiments offered allowed me to customize my bowl to my liking, adding an extra layer of personalization to the meal.In conclusion, Kim's Vietnamese is a solid choice for those seeking a substantial bowl of pho at a reasonable price. The ambiance is nice. The service won't blow you away, but it gets the job done. If you're after value for money and a satisfying dining experience, this spot is definitely worth a visit.

Was my first time hearing about this place and even just going in general so I had no idea what to expect. Went in and was very impressed by how good the food was. It was crowded limited seating but it was during lunch hour so that was expected. The service was great ! Very clear menu, clean dining area as well. I will be returning here!

Personally I believe Kim's makes the best Pho in Sacramento. I have been trying tons of places due to my love for this soup. Her chicken Pho is awesome and definitely my favorite lunch time meal twice a week during the winter months. All the other food served here is great, but the Pho is defiantly worth your time in trying.
