This is SUCH a cute spot. The ambiance in here is UNMATCHED. The food was so tasty too, the omelette was delightful and not overcooked like omelettes usually are. The service was fine, it was quite busy in there so I'm sure they had a lot to do! Def check this place out, the potatos were also fireee. So was the jam, not like that packaged stuff breakfast places usually give you.

My first review of 2025 goes to a poor experience. We popped here enroute from Tahoe to the Bay, and we were very surprised our experience didn't meet the great reviews. Expensive, large portions, but low quality of food, everything was soaked in butter and oil, poor service and long wait times for food. We spent $75 and ended up taking a few bites and leaving. Is the move breakfast only? Maybe. Lunch was a fail. While we waited about 10 min for a table, we waited about 30-40 minutes for mediocre food. And while it was crowded, 40 minutes seems extensive for the fare that came out. I went with the chicken pesto sandwich and it was for lack of a better word, gross. Soaked in butter, the sourdough was so greasy you couldn't pick this up, the chicken was tough, and there was a hint of really bad tasting pesto. The side salad was a bowl of just shredded iceberg. My husband's quiche was smothered in butter and cheese and that was just the top of the quiche. Everything was overpriced, but I'd be ok with it if it tasted good, it didn't.Overall, whether it was failed ordering on our part, it wasn't a great experience and a pass. Again, they were busy, so maybe I'm missing something, but your choice to try it out!

Look no further than Katrina's for the best brunch spot in the area! My family and I were heading to Lake Tahoe and wanted to indulge in a large breakfast before heading up the mountain. Our omelets were cooked to perfection. The potatoes were crispy and packed with flavor. The portions are also huge and very reasonably priced. But the star of the table were the lemon ricotta pancakes... a must try! The location is small and despite it being an early weekday, we had to wait a little while. The service was great and once we were sat, we ordered quickly and received our food not too long after.

second time here........... great both times !!! our go-to breakfast spot when ever visiting mom in cool. great food and friendly service. and the coffee was HOT even after pouring in mug..... I like HOT coffee..... I can get that here.

The staff was attentive and very nice. The food speaks for itself. I ordered the chicken fried steak and the waffles. Definitely coming back!

Katrina's- located in Auburn. Yummmmmm. First timer here. Had the mushroom, onion, cheese omlette. First off that was huge. It came with toast of my choice and fresh fruit or potatoes. I chose the unhealthy one. The potatoes were so good! I also got the blood orange mimosa! So yummy! Very well priced! Huge menu! Beautiful location! Nice outdoor patio! Great service. Everyone was so friendly! Would definitely come back!

Probably our sixth visit for breakfast and the crew is always kind & the food is good. I had the bacon, Swiss & spinach Omelet with country potatoes. Hearty bacon loaded Omelet was hot and fresh ,plentyof spinach, cheese & grilled onions& and enough for two. The Mrs ordered healthy and had the oatmeal with fresh fruit, brown sugar, and cream on the side. Good local fruit, refreshing, and plenty to eat.We sat outside and enjoyed the fall weather. Not too busy on a Thursday about 11am.

Katrina's is the place to breakfast in Auburn. My family has enjoyed breakfast here for well over a decade. It is difficult to recommend any particular meal because they all tend to be stand outs. My parents swear they have the best chicken apple sausage available. Their food is high quality and when you get fruit on the side with your meal, you get a tasty antioxidant affair. Strawberries, cantaloupe, blueberries, blackberries, pineapples, watermelon oranges bananas and apples oh my! Where else can you find that? Try a side of biscuits and gravy. You will get a soft yummy biscuit split in half with plenty of gravy to go round. We often get this as a side and use the extra gravy with the rest of our breakfast. Bonus! The servings are huge! We generally get a box to go for a second meal later. For small eaters, you can fill up on a split meal. Do you enjoy a beer or a breakfast cocktail with your meal? You will be happy to find delicious ones here. Their coffee is also very good. Inside , you will find plenty of seating often filled with regulars. It's a tight squeeze and conversation often happens between tables. They sport a wonderful outside seating area as well. We love the service here. Staff is always hustling because they never seem to have a slow moment. We have yet to have a server that wasn't friendly and efficient. This place promises excellent high quality food and staff to match! Try it, you'll like it.

Wow. Katrina's is a sweet, little, local café that provides great home-cooked, delicious breakfast and lunch with fresh ingredients. My plate of breakfast is served hot, colorful, tasty, and perfect for me to enjoy. The portion is generous so prepare to share if you don't want to fill up your belly before a hike. The staff are friendly, efficient, and attentive. The customers seem to be happy and fun, for sure enjoying their meals. I like the style and the atmosphere at the Katrina's. Sometimes it gets busy but it's worth the wait. Parking is ample. I can't wait to be back. Try it. You will be glad like I did.

We came at 9:00 am on a Sunday, were able to be seated immediately, and had our orders taken immediately. The food was great and so was the service. We'd definitely recommend this place!
