KANG Taekwondo

My daughter is on her way to become a black belt & my son just finished testing for his 2nd degree black belt. Love this studio and the family who runs it!

I've been bringing my daughter here for two months and she loves it. I like how they teach kids respect as well and how to behave outside of class. I was expecting just the self defense but this is so much better and it's helping my daughter as well. She always has something to look for now and takes what she learns from class with her. My younger daughter sees her practice and she pretends to the moves as well, I might add her too! The instructors are very good with the children, also not sure if the younger instructors are volunteers as well but they are also great. They are always making sure the kids are following instruction.

Best family owned Taekwondo ! We are so happy we've found this place! My 3 children love Kang's ATA , they always can't wait to come and practice. They always want extra days to practice more, to improve their skills in self defense. My daughter got her Black Belt here and I'm waiting for my youngest son to turn 4 next year so he can join the oldest ones. Absolutely all the staff are so friendly, professional, they encourage and teach the kids to show respect not just to the instructors, but to the parents, elders and community, also they encourage them to show kindness to others. Chief Master Kang ( has the best Taekwondo rank in California) , Master Kang (6 Degree Black Belt), Mrs. Kang are so friendly and good to everyone. We just love this family and we consider them as our own family. This place is not just for children, they even teach older children and parents in different classes.

I never expected to achieve a black belt, especially as an adult. I started Taekwondo at Master Kangs school summer of 2019 and I wasn't sure how to feel about it at first because I was already an adult. However, master Kang and other students have made me feel so comfortable the moment I joined the class. There were only teens and adults in the classes that I attended. My fitness journey has improved and so was my mental health. My nephews who are now 9 and 5 years old also love it. I recommend Kang Taekwondo for adults and children alike.

My husband and I love Kang's ATA! Our 13 year old has been going since he was little and now his little brother is following in his footsteps. Master Kang is great with all the kids and the boys look up to him. We recommend him to all our friends and family. He and his family are so gracious and kind. Go ATA!!!

Our son has been at Kangs ATA since he was 5 years old and he is now 9 years old and in the Black Belt recommended classes. There is so much to love about the Kang's curriculum and the family themselves. I love as a parent knowing my son is gaining a strong mindset to value himself and others. Knowing when and how to protect himself. We have been able to depend on Master Kang to help us when situations arise in school such as bullying, which has been a big one and how to navigate those situations both physically and mentally with a growth mindset. How to stand up for ourselves and others in a safe and respectful way. The message from day one always been respect for self and others, building a strong mind and body, living with integrity at all times!!!! Master Kang and his family are so warm and welcoming at all times, children are always watched after class to make sure they meet up with their parents or guardian, positive affirmations and growth mindset discussions are always given in each class, the assistant trainers are most impressive from their positive demeanor, professionalism, proficiency, and knowledge while helping the students. I have been moved by the Kang family through their dedication to help foster and build strong values in children and young adults which is why hands down we chose them to be the foundation for our son Michaels start into martial arts. Without hesitation I highly recommend Kang's ATA for anyone thinking where to start on either a personal journey or your child starting into the martial arts. If I could give more starts I would. :)

They provide structure, fun, and safe environment, which allows your kids to grow and develop their skills in self-defense, learn to respect not only taekwondo, but their parents and the community. My child has been at Kang's for 4+ years and we could not be happier and more important my child is happy. Master Kang is patient understanding and motivating with the little ones. Master Kang is amazing with the little ones.All the instructors (Chief Master Kang, Master Kang, Student Instructor's plus Ms. Kang) are all amazing. This is a family owned business and they truly treat the students and their family like family. Ms. Kang is always outside after each class to ensure the children go safely with their families. That sense of security means the world to me.

Kang's does an excellent job with my kids, teaching them not only techniques and forms in self defense, but values in how to be a responsible person. We have been students for over 5 years and the kids love it here. They are learning to set goals and aspire. Last but not least, with the large amount of students, they learned who my kids were early in and treated us like family. Thank you Master Kang!
