I'm so happy we have another Filipino place in town. This is their second opening week. We got a combo meal, lechon belly and lumpia. The combo meal has generous portions. The lechon belly skin was the best with the skin so crispy! It came with their home made sauce. They also have leche flan and steamed puto. There are 2 display cases of Filipino groceries next the eating area. They plan to have a boba drink menu and more baked goods very soon. They also have a catering menu-so convenient for big gatherings.

Serving Authentic Filipino Dishes [Folsom CA]While in the Folsom area I happened to notice this Filipino restaurant with its name in bright red bold letters. Inside is a modest space they designated for customer table seating. On the other side of the wall are shelves they used for merchandise, selling some grocery items. It looked like a new business and it was busy inside, a little chaotic. I popped in and inquired if they had Halo-halo, a popular Filipino dessert. They didn't have it available. I left but I returned the next day.The Next Day:I returned today and decided to try their food. The combo meals had 6 dishes to choose from. This menu rotates daily. My Combo #1 comes with choice of 2 scoops of rice or pancit bihon or half and half. I chose half rice, half pancit and the bistek for my dish. The food was authentic Filipino cuisine. The beef steak ("bistek") was flavorful and the meat was tender. The portion seemed small, though, but I guess that's what you get for $10. For an add'l $2 you can also make your meal to include a drink. This restaurant has only been in operation for less than a month, opened 12/17/24. Looks like they're off to a great start and I hope it remains that way. I was told that one can check their daily menu on their Facebook page. They are closed on Mondays. Kabayan (or kababayan) in Tagalog translates to "fellow Filipino, countryman, or townmate." Mabuhay kababayan!Review #3652

So glad a fast food Filipino restaurant opened up in Folsom that serves authentic Filipino food. This was my third visit. The first time I tried going at dinner time and they were pretty much sold out. I came back for lunch a few days later and was able to give it another try. It was delicious!! They have a different menu everyday. Price was decent for this Folsom, I got the 3 item combo and it comes others rice and/or pancit. I got a fountain drink too and it came out to $22. Would definitely recommend but go early!!

As a Filipino-American I'm so happy that a Filipino restaurant opened near my home. The place is very simple and clean. The place is family owned and everyone is very friendly. I got the combo #1 with pork bbq and half rice half pancit bihon. For dessert I picked up the puto. Everything tasted home made and comforting. I look forward to coming back soon.

Filipino BBQ Skewers 10/10!!! Their lumpia is not dry, huge and delicious! Affordable combo meals available daily. Different entrée everyday! Service is excellent! They also a mini grocery on the side with variety of Filipino snacks and goodies! We don't have to drive all the way to Sacramento just to get some legit lumpia and filipino food!

Giving 4 stars as they are new. There's room for improvement. Generous with starch but gives little on meats. Condiments were not accessible. We were first to arrive @ 3 mins after open. Ended as last to order. It was a mad dash to order line. Quite annoying as we were asked to sit and wait.

The food here is good, but feels expensive for what you get. Came here for lunch and seemed pretty busy as the tables were full. The area to order was a little cramped as there wasn't a great way to line up and pick your food. I ordered a combo #2 with pork sisig and chicken adobado. I had to opt for pancit as there was no rice ready at the time (maybe didn't anticipate the lunch rush). The pork sisig was my favorite as it had that fatty pieces of pork and that creamy texture from the pork liver. The chicken adobada was also really tasty, but because the chicken had bone, I felt there wasn't much meat. The pancit was also tasty in itself and was not bland at all. I am giving this place 3 stars not because the food doesn't taste good, but compared to other filipino turo-turo style restaurants, this place didn't give a lot of food and seemed to really limit the portion in the togo box. The combo #2 was $13.99 which isn't too bad for a lunch here in Folsom, but I still feel the portion could be increased a little bit. The place also feels a little disorganized with the mini market inside, and not enough access to the ordering area. I plan to try this place again in the future.
