Just another park? I think not! This spot is a hit, For my dogs on a walk. For the kiddos that crawl on all fours, Or the ones already running on two feet. There are two playgrounds for both,And can cater to all who greet. When you walk your dogs, Please do be careful! Sometimes there are prickly grass burrs, That can get your dog's paws in trouble :(Other than that, The park is pretty clean! With poop bags for your convenience. And even a park gym to meet your health needs. The people here are friendly, And the grass is always green. So try bringing your kiddos or puppers over,It might end up being a part of your routine!

The Jordan family settled in the Elk Grove area around 1914. To this day they are very active in the local community of Elk Grove. In 2010 the City of Elk Grove dedicated their 87th park "Jordan Family Park"to the Jordan Family for 100 years of accomplishment and giving so much to the local community and to the City of Elk Grove. This park is 1.7 acres and is part of the Cosumnes Park & Recreation District West Vineyard. It has also won awards for its design and most importantly the preservation of local oak trees.Have you ever heard the saying " wonderful things come in small packages ." This phrase fits this park perfectly !The lawn and the shrubs are manicured so nicely. Being a son of a landscaper this is what first caught my attention. The park offers an Adult Fitness Area, Shaded picnic area and tables, BBQ's, Benches throughout the park, Horse Shoe Equipment, Play Area for kids 5 years and younger, and a Play Area for kids 5-12 years of age. Plus has a nature walking trail along the Elk Grove Wetlands. This park is well deserving of "5 stars"

Was looking for a park that was toddler friendly and this is definitely one! There's two playgrounds, one for ages 1-4( i think) and 5+. The park was really quite, and clean for the most part. There's no bathroom, and I only saw one water fountain. There's a lot of cool things, but there isn't much grass to play in. Overall, loved the park, and so did my two year old!

This park is small but beautiful! The landscape is really pretty! Has a small walking trail, plenty of benches, picnic tables and a bbq. The only thing that I was disappointed in is the trash laying around. Lots of empty cups, containers, plates and juice bottles. Sad people can't pick their trash up but would have gave 5 stars if the park was cleaner!
