Flavorful, beautifully crafted food! They have their menu listed on Instagram as well as their schedule of their popup locations. I enjoy getting the kids meal when I want something lighter or the sandwiches. Perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection, thank you to the chefs for the great attention to detail! See if they're in your area and give them a try!

There isn't much good thrifty restaurants or food trucks downtown but when I find a good one, I will post.

Amazing!! I was able to try them at the 4th on the Field event that just passed. There were so many food trucks to choose from and I am so glad that I picked JoJo's! The menu was simple and everything sounds so good. I picked the fried chicken sandwich and my husband tried the fried chicken chunks plate. Of course I had to try my husband food, lol. Everything we had was amazing! The woman taking our order was nice and we got our food extremely fast!! I definitely would recommend JoJo's food truck if you ever see them around town.

With food truck being tooo expensive and providing an less than average experience, Jojo's is the exception. For $20, I can get a solid and delicious meal with a drink. The service was friendly and polite. They qualify as a valuable food truck. Keep it up guys.

So I was looking forward to trying this out. As an islander I love me some good island food but I was disappointed as this dish was far from it. . Chicken was ok, Mac salad nothing Hawaiian about it and so was the coleslaw. Took one bite (coleslaw) and it tasted like it was left out for a long time. Sour and not edible at all. My tummy felt queasy afterwards and I ended up throwing up when I got home.

Encountered this food truck at Sac Pride over the weekend. The staff was very friendly and the service was fast. The chicken was tender and freshly cooked with what seemed like mochi flour. It was also served with spicy dipping sauce but tasted delicious even without it. The Mac salad was fine, but not too exciting. The Cole slaw was probably my least favorite of the items; it didn't really have any flavor and felt more like a side salad.Overall, the main dish was great, and I would definitely have it again if a la carte is an option.

Fried chicken is one of those comfort foods that many of us (including myself) get excited about. And after keeping this place on my radar, I finally had the chance of trying their food out. This was during the evening of Saturday 7/2/2022 where I tracked them down (on their website, https://jojoshawaiianfriedchicken.square.site at the site near La Sierra Community Center in Carmichael for a 4th of July get-together. This particular family-owned and operated business runs exclusively through their truck so they are always going to different sites almost on a regular basis throughout the greater Sacramento area. This includes the city of Sacramento but also outlying areas such as Roseville, Elk Grove, Folsom, Natomas, Carmichael, and even places such as Lincoln and Clarksburg. Their truck itself lists their business name which includes their phone number and ways that you can find them on social media (Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter). Finally, the menu is easy to read with full color pictures of select food items.Their food truck business has been in operation dating back to 2018. Since I had waited several years to try their chicken out, I was quite excited to compare this place to other mobile fried chicken restaurants. Since I was on the hungrier side, I went with their "Fried Chicken Rice Bowl" (priced at $15 during my visit in July 2022). This included their crispy tender Hawaiian fried chicken (drizzled with sweet sauce over it) and on top of a bed of their famous island-inspired rice. This entrée was served with homemade macaroni salad and coleslaw. The wait was literally less than a minute as the ladies working in the truck got my meal ready in the blink of an eye. After walking to the park area of the community center, I opened up the recyclable package and was ready to indulge! The chicken itself was absolutely was on point and had a unique taste that distinguished it from other fried chicken places I've eaten at. The crunch, batter, texture, and flavor with the sweet sauce put this chicken in a class all itself. However, the rice was just average for me as it didn't have that moist taste to it. I did however enjoy the coleslaw as well as the macaroni salad as both of these were above average. I will say that the service here was top notch. The two ladies that I interacted were in such a great mood and had a lot of positive vibes going on. After breaking down everything associated with "Jojo's Hawaiian Fried Chicken", I am settling on giving them a four-star rating. Food is above average, customer service is excellent, and prices are just average since they do run a little higher than similar trucks I've been to. All in all, they give you a lot of food and they just might be at a stop near you soon!

Food in the Hood - WestPark Wednesday [Roseville]We had a chance to try Jojo's Hawaiian fried chicken when they came to Roseville. Hmm, they claimed to be the best Hawaiian fried chicken in Sacramento... well, they came a close second to my favorite fried chicken spot which I won't mention. We chose two of the Fried Chicken Rice Bowls, one each of the sweet and the spicy sauce ($14/ea). There were 4 optional sides: Hawaiian macaroni salad, coleslaw, rice or fries. For both plates we got the coleslaw and mac salad. The chicken was savory and tender laid on top of a bed of island style fried rice. The portions were generous. Unfortunately, the Hawaiian mac salad was bland. No taste. The coleslaw was the same. We enjoyed the chicken. No tax included. We paid $28. On their website they have a preorder option. The pickup location was at the park where they were today. Instagram: @jojoshawaiianfriedchickenReview #2555

Super friendly staff. They were cartering at the Great Bear Winery in Davis. Fast service, delicious food. We had the chicken sandwich and the chicken rice bowl. I appreciate that their chicken is skinless ... very moist. I also loved their Coleslaw -- and I'm picky on my slaw!

This is a traveling food truck that I first encountered in Davis! Not only did the man in the truck have true Hawaiian spirit (super friendly and approachable) but you can tell he put a lot of thought into these dishes!10/10I got the fried chicken chunks rice bowl and oh my gosh was it delicious! Typical Hawaiian BBQ is pretty greasy and heavy. This plate was full of flavor without feeling sick after! The chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside! But you wanna know the best part? The sauces!!! You can get spicy, sweet, or both! I got both and it was SO GOOD I even ate up the brown rice mixed with the sauces!Pineapple cole slaw. Chef's kiss! It gave the perfect acidity to cut the richness of the chicken!Mac salad. YUM. It's not drenched in mayo which is a guilty pleasure of mine. However, I loved the black pepper and how it complements the rest of the meal. You just gotta try it. The plate is $14 and you get a good amount of food! They don't skimp.Definitely coming back to find them at the farmer's market!
