Stopped in on yelp reviews...The Locomoco hit the spot for breakfast & dinner! I've been here a quite a few times, and the food and service are pretty consistent. When I walk up to the counter, it takes them a while to approach and take my order. Besides that, I always receive my food within 5-10 minutes. For the combination plates, I usually get the #1 or the #6. The food is very flavorful and cooked well, and they give you extra sauce when you do take out. If you're dining in, it's not that busy. There's always calm music playing (like you're at a spa).

Summer of 2022 opened and our first time here! Heard about this restaurant from friends and so glad we came! Extensive "local style" menu and clean, fresh atmosphere conducive to dining! fAST delivery of our entrees on beautiful simple white square plates with REAL tableware. Generous portions that we had enough for another meal! Our choices were delicious and we definitely will be back! CJ gave us personable, friendly and patient service- made us feel welcomed and right at home!

It's levels above any Hawaiian food chain I must say! I really appreciate the freshness and flavors here, they say Hawaiian food is easy to make but you really can't beat the authentic flavor they have here. Simple yes, but it hits the spot every time from the katsu to the fish it's all made to order no refry or over marinating here. I love that it's family owned and the prices are very reasonable for the amount of food they give! Service is good for a counter service spot and it's a very casual vibe inside. JJ's makes my list for my top local eateries and we'll be back for more!

The dumplings are legit! You need to try this try place. Dumplings are hand-made in house and so yum! Ramen with ground sirloin was delicious (very nice portion)! Sushi Burrito with BBQ chicken was delicious (don't forget some soy sauce). Service was personal and very good! I can wait to go back for more! My only complaint would be that the bathroom was dirty.

Huge portions! [Sacramento CA ]We dined here a little over three weeks ago. It was our first time at JJ's... we did not find the place immediately, we got lost from the Google maps. When we finally did we found the parking lot to have ample parking spaces on a private lot. Inside was more spacious than I originally thought. We walked up to the counter and started to place our orders but since we were dining in we were told to find a table and they will take our orders from there. I chose the Loco Moco Combo and hubby had the Hawaiian BBQ Chicken Combo. For drinks we chose a couple of smoothies: Coconut Smoothie and Strawberry Smoothie both with boba. My Strawberry drink was okay. I've had better. When the food was served our eyes were like whoa! wow! They were huge portions! Each meal was definitely good enough for two people. Unfortunately, we both had different tastes that evening. We both liked our meals and would definitely return.Many of the people who came in were take-outs and Dashers. My family of nine came in and were greeted with kind and efficient service. Our food was out extremely fast, and everything we ordered was very good. One of my brothers said it is the best Hawaiian BBQ he's ever had, we are all definitely looking forward to eating here again!

I think the food is amazing the the portions aren't small like most places and the services is pretty good
