The service is always fabulous and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly. The wine is outstanding! They typically bring a small plate of cheese, almonds, crackers, and dried apricots. Inside is nice when it's cold, and they have patio heaters outside. It's charming!

This was my last stop on a 3- winery tour up in Plymouth. My dad came here with my mom over summer and had a great time, so we decided to pop by and check it out. They were very busy when we first walked in (we didn't have a reservation), which is a good sign! They provided little snacks while we enjoyed our wine tasting. Don't explore the venue too much but there's a quiet little back patio we enjoyed.

This experience is awesome from the start. Our wine lady, Lydia, was awesome. She was a focused guide and we appreciate it. Thank you. I don't say this often, but every wine we tried was outstanding. I'm not saying i'm happy about it.Because it costs a lot of money to take it home, but I'm happy about it. If we're anywhere nearby we shall return. We had so much fun.We forgot to take pictures.

Love the upscale bar & tasting room. This vineyard has a beautiful classy setting. The wine was refreshing and delicious. From the Verdot, viognier, Zinfandel were all wonderful. Snacks were perfect pairings. Definitely a great stop and shall be back again.

Great people and great wine! Jeff Runquist consistently curates fantastic wines - I'm always pleased with the tasting experience there. The recent addition of the patio opens up a lovely new area to accommodate guests. We'll be back and are wine club members who happily get his wine shipments 6 times a year.

Usually this tasting stop is a good experience, yesterday however was a real disappointment. Although the wine was good, the service was relatively non-existent. Our server would disappear for 10-20 minutes at a time. We had reservations at other wineries that we missed as the tasting took a ridiculous hour and 45 minutes to complete! I've been here several times and I can usually count on the service, however, Rob (our server) seemed to be more concerned about talking and disappearing for long periods.

This winery is always consistent. They offer some of the best wines in this region and the tasting is free. ( as of now) The servers are friendly and knowledgeable without being pretentious. We are going to become members after we drop a couple of our other wines club memberships.

Not super impressed with this place. We were told to come here by a friend and chose to sit outside and wine taste. It took us almost 1.5 hours to get through 4 wines.. I was too impatient to even get the 5th taste and decided to just get up and pay for the tasting. Good thing it was complimentary because for as disappointed as I was.. they deserved no more attention and money. Maybe understaffed? For a Saturday one should consider the crowd.

Tasting room ambiance was little upscale and less homey than I expected in this area. Susan was an excellent tasting host that had a lot of great knowledge about the wines, the area and the history of Amador county. Wines favorites from the tasting "Z", and the Tannat. We bought the "Z" but the Tannat almost made it into the bag.

Fun winery to hang out on the patio and taste wines! My cousin booked our reservation and we all hung out for an hour or so and did their wine tasting on the patio. It was a bit cool so I strongly suggest brining a blanket or jacket. The staff brings out each wine and gives you a brief story and description. They offer a few crackers and cheese too as part of the tasting.I ended up finding a couple wines I liked so I shipped 6 bottles home.Their Petit Verdot is exceptional!Normally a blending varietal, the one they make stands alone beautifully! Also really really liked their Viognier and their Z Zinfandel.Their pricing is very reasonable too, hence why I shipped 6 bottles home. Cheers!
