I was heading to pick up a burger and instead turned into Jayna Gyro's parking lot. Best decision I made today!I ordered a beef and lamb bowl with rice and chickpeas, and some falafels. The bowl was delicious and very filling. The falafels were AMAZING, probably some of the best I've ever had. Service was great and so quick that I didn't catch the staff members name who welcomed me. She was really kind and told me about some of the most popular meals. Can't wait to go back to eat in the restaurant because it looks so nice! The space is well designed and has a great ambiance.

I was driving by and decided to try Jayna Gyro for a to go order.Baba Ghanoush: C+Pita was disappointing, it lacked any fluffiness and was bland. I've had better ones from the grocery store. The baba ghanoush was decent but also could have used some more flavor and salt.Beef + lamb gyro bowl: B-The lamb was good, nice and tender with good flavor. The beef I didn't really care for since it's thin slices rather than chunks of meat. The rice tastes good and they give a lot of lettuce, I like the banana pepper inclusion. Again the pita was not enjoyable.

Gyro. - a wet pile of lettuce and gyros meat without any crispness, like wet grey roast beef, pita uncooked. Ordered no onions, and yet arrived with onions. Picked off by cooks and re-served.Greek fries - nope they're boiled potatoes, cubed then dropped in oil for 30 seconds. Not crispy. Lemon good, but heavy handed w paprika. Left 3/4 of them. Dip sauce of Sriracha dressing? Drink- ordered no ice, had to stop server who took order.Pluses? Restaurant ambiance was nice, including outdoor seating. Got real silverware and cloth napkin - at the order counter. Order taker gave me the combo discount, which was appreciated. Feels like they're unsure about going full service or they are like this for lunches. They have a hostess station, but again, no one asking if I'd like a refill or something else. Price $22.87 for a gyros, potatoes, and a Coke. Will I come back? Not likely, but it has parking....

Jayna Gyro is the perfect spot to satisfy your Mediterranean cravings. The casual, family-friendly atmosphere is elevated by charming Grecian-inspired decor, complete with soft lights and themed wall art that make you feel like you've stepped into a little Greek getaway. My boyfriend and I stopped by after work and ordered the chicken gyro bowl and the beef/lamb gyro bowl. I'm not usually a fan of lamb, but the thinly sliced meat and incredible seasoning won me over. The beef, in particular, was packed with flavor. While I typically prefer pilaf rice, the fluffy, seasoned rice here was a great match for the dishes. The sauce on the chicken gyro was another standout--it tied everything together beautifully. For our side, my boyfriend chose fries, but it turned out to be more like country-style potatoes. It was a bit unexpected but still tasty. One thing to note is the ordering process: all takeout orders must be placed at a kiosk, and then you pay at the register--an unusual setup, but it works. The only downside was the wait time. Even though the restaurant wasn't busy (only two tables dining in), the kitchen seemed slightly disorganized. Thankfully, our order came out correctly, so no complaints there. While it's a bit pricey for what's essentially a fast-casual spot, I'd definitely come back--especially for lunch or maybe happy hour if they offer one. Their burgers and lavash wraps sound amazing, so I'll be giving those a try next time!

Finally stopped by this place today and wow, why did I wait so long! It's an upscale fast casual with a full bar, whaaa We ordered a few things to try and loved everything. So fresh and tasty. Ordered at the counter and found our way to the covered patio. Perfect for summer days ahead. Now that I know there is a patio I'm bringing the pups along. (They are dog friendly). Food was delivered as ordered. They have a self serve water station but also offer fountain drinks and home made lemonade. Staff were friendly and kind. As an East Sac local I'll be stopping by more often now! Highly recommended! Jayna for the win

Jayna Gyro caught my eye with its inviting white and cyan colorway sign. Inside was bright and vibrant so I decided to roll the dice and dine here for lunch. The service was smooth and quick. I sat down and minutes later my gyro bowl appeared. I ordered the beef lamb gyro bowl with Greek Fries and a sour cherry sparkling soda. Immediately two things stood out to me. First, the meat still had a bit of gaminess to it, which some people may not prefer, but for me I want to at least have some reminder that I'm consuming lamb. It was prepared well. The meat was lightly seasoned but the gyro bowl has a mashup of ingredients so it plays nice with the other ingredients in the bowl. Second, the aioli had the right amount of spiciness. I only wish I had more of the sauce. There was plenty of seating and the staff were incredibly attentive. I'm excited to try a few other things on their menu. This was a great start.

Had a fun lunch today w/Yelp pals to try Jayna Greek Food and it was great! We started with pomegranate wine and apps like Greek fries (w/feta), falafels, and spanikopita (which I ate so fast o forgot to take a photo!). Then we ordered Islander - a platter of beef/lamb gyros to top of toasted pita bread squares and sauce with grilled tomato and shishito pepper and a whole rotisserie chicken with a double side of chickpea rice! Everything was amazing! Thank goodness I was too full to do my Opa dance....I probably would've scared the other patrons...but I DID twirl my linen napkin and cheer when my food was delivered!! The ambiance of the Sacramento mid-town location was very swanky cool but relaxed...making it a perfect spot to hang out with friends! There is also covered patio seating if you want to dine al fresco. There's a full bar as well...and they have signature cocktails like the hibiscus margarita (which I will have to try on my next visit!).

Our food was absolutely delicious! From the moment you walk in to this little restaurant, you feel the Greek vibes. The music, the employees, the decor, the food and flavor it's all there! Also, I must add the service here was absolutely amazing! Specifically Bailey and the gentleman who I presume was the owner treated us with great hospitality. This will now be our go to place for Greek food! Highly suggest you give this place a try.

Came here semi-regularly for many months. Used to enjoy the food and service. Recently though, a new employee started working there (blonde-ish hair, maybe a manager but not sure) and it's been downhill since then. She seems to pick and choose who to be friendly to, and my party has not been part of the chosen group that she decided to grace with good customer service. Plus, both times we were there at the same time as her, she forgot items and messed up at least one person's order. Never received even half an apology and instead got a bit of an attitude. Plus, the most recent time I went and got the gyro bowl, it was way too salty. It was never that salty before. I wish this place was as good as it used to be, with friendly staff and great food. At least the baklavas are still good.
