Jackson Catering was fantastic. My wife and I had them cater our wedding on 9/7/24 at Black Oak and the food was fantastic, our guests loved it. From the beginning of our interactions Danica and Julie were amazing. They both answered any and all of our questions during our inital phone call and were super accommodating during our first tasting and final tasting. They are very communicative and replied to emails within the day. I personally have a gluten allergy and they were able to make me a separate dish to accommodate my dietary needs for the big day. I would recommend them to anyone looking to host an event. 11/10 will use them again.

Jackson Catering was the second vendor we booked after our venue for our June 2024 wedding, and for good reason. They are professional, responsive, and their food is AMAZING. Out of an absolutely all-star vendor list at my wedding, Jackson Catering seriously blew me away. They fed us two tasting menus of some of the best food I've eaten and even let me take home leftovers to my husband who couldn't make it. The day of the wedding and for days after, my friends and family came up to me (including other vendors) to tell me how good the appetizers and food were (especially the Monte Cristo bites I had 4). Their staff was incredibly friendly, professional and HELPFUL - one staff even helped me get bugs out of the layers or my dress 4 separate times. They went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of and I am so grateful they came to find us and serve us food and drinks while we took photos. The BEST catering experience of all time - this is the right decision!!!!

We used JCE for our wedding at the Old Sugar Mill early November. They did a phenomenal job from start to finish. They offered tasting prior to signing and another tasting for our event item choices which we really appreciated. We were wow'd by they're professionalism and food quality/selection from day one. They were also very responsive throughout the entire planning process to my millions of questions lol. All of our guests kept raving about how delicious all the food was at our wedding and it truly was. If needing a caterer we highly recommend JCE!

My daughter chose Jackson Catering for her wedding dinner. Usually wedding buffet food is ok, and nothing exciting, not so in this case! The food was delicious! Many guests are still talking about itsebrral months later. Service was fantastic.We would definitely use Jackson Catering again.

I didn't want to cook Thanksgiving dinner this year and was looking for a place to order a complete meal. I decided to go with a friend's recommendation and give this place a try. My order was easily placed online. At pick up, I was greeted by friendly staff who helped bring my large order to the car. The food was packaged well and already looked delicious; it was hard to not dig into it early. I appreciated the reheating directions and everything warmed up perfectly accordingly. As for the taste, amazing! The turkey was flavorful and juicy. Crisp green bean casserole, moist stuffing, creamy mashed potatoes. I'm normally not of fan of sweet potatoes, I really enjoyed the sweet potato gratin as well. The amount of food was ample too. We are a family of eight so I ordered the large meal to serve 8-10 people. We enjoyed leftovers today (the day after Thanksgiving) and there's still plenty for tomorrow as well.The meal did cost more than what I could have spent for a prepared meal from a grocery store, but it was worth every penny. Plus I felt good about supporting a local business, especially during these crazy covid times. If they do a Christmas meal, we'll definitely be back for that.

We used Jackson Catering for our October 2024 wedding and were very impressed. They offered a complimentary tasting so we could select our food and linens. The food was incredible! Our guests agreed wholeheartedly. One couple said they had been to multiple weddings that year and the food at our wedding was the best! Big thanks to Jackson Catering!

The food at our wedding tasted exactly like it did at the tasting! We were worried flavor would be lost if we went buffet style. Our guests are still raving about the food!

Good Planning Terrible Execution We opted for Jackson Catering based on positive reviews from the catering list, and despite our initial optimism, it turned out to be a regrettable decision.Initially, everything seemed promising. Danica exhibited excellent communication skills, promptly responding to inquiries. The complimentary tasting was a helpful touch, and they were accommodating when I requested a change to one of the dish recipes.Unfortunately, the turning point was the event day itself. The execution was the worst I have witnessed, and it undeniably left a negative impression on our guests.The late arrival of the appetizers and drinks during the cocktail hour not only disrupted the schedule but also created unnecessary stress and anxiety during what should have been a joyous occasion. Furthermore, the quality of the food fell far below the standards we were promised during our initial tastings. The taste, presentation, and overall execution of the appetizers (samosas & wontons), chicken tikka masala and naan were all severely lacking, leaving a lasting negative impression on our guests.This experience has not only tarnished our guests ' experience on a day we had eagerly awaited but has also cast a shadow on the reputation of your company. We expected nothing short of exceptional service, especially given the premium we paid for your catering services. Regrettably, what we received was anything but. I made sure to pay for extra food as noted in the contract; it was for 143 guests. Although only about 100 guests attended they felt there was not enough food.
