Jack's Urban Eats

Jack's is such a staple to me I didn't even have it on my Yelp list of restaurants for when I can't think of where to eat.The thing about a good salad is that the ingredients have to be fresh. Especially the lettuce, even a leaf wilted can sour one's day. Jack's has the best at a reasonable price. I think it's due to the volume they serve versus other restaurants. I appreciate the variety and the ability to customize my order.The ladies at the pickup area are so pleasant and attentive. I suppose you familiarize yourself when you order takeout 2-3 times per week. It's ready so quickly when ordering online. Sometimes I'm in transit and my phone defaults to another location, so it's my fault, and they find a way to cancel the erroneous order and make me a new one on the spot without hassle. I always tip. It's a simple, no frills, fast-casual joint -- still, excellent customer service makes a mark and is treasured always.

Visible on the receipt is the "No pickled red onion" which was my sole request on the order and apparently was viewed by the kitchen as a quaint notion that could be ignored. I regret adding a tip prior to picking it up at Jack's in Midtown. Caveat emptor. Next time it'll be Mendicino Farms.

They had vegan options as salad. They well explained and help to put it together. It was huge portion, but relatively simple More like raw ingredients with dressing, but not a well blended salad. They made one of the salads on wrong base. I had greens, but they used cabbage. The service was nice and very welcoming. Helped to select the vegan options.

This location is in the heart of midtown and the perfect location for lunch in any given day. The food here is always fresh. Great variety salads and sandwiches. Food is made to order. My son loves the chicken tenders, my fiancée loves their salads and u love ordering their specialty sandwiches. Always a good time with awesome food here.

Jack's is definitely a go to spot for me whether that be with family, friends, or coworkers. They have such a huge variety of options to please any palate. The location is just 5 minutes, walking distance, away from where I work downtown. It's convenient, they're always providing quick and efficient customer service, and their food seems to never disappoint - most of the time. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Half of that outdoor seating is under the shade too which is always a plus! Last week I came with a coworker when the summer weather was tolerable for a change. We sat where the sun beamed on us giving us that much needed warmth after being in a freezing office all morning. I ate the buffalo chicken sandwich with a side of urban fries (these are a must!). I will say the buffalo chicken sandwich was meh, I missed that crunchy exterior. If I have to wait 10 or so minutes for this sandwich my expectations better be met. I won't be getting this from here anytime soon.However, this week we went again and I tried their Banh Mi sandwich. This was much better than expected! Not truly an authentic Banh Mi but Jack's is trying and did their thing so I was pleased and would happily order again. This is coming from a gal who isn't a huge steak fan. I truly enjoyed how tender the steak was piled underneath crunchy carrots and daikon. These were a great contrast to each other smothered in the sriracha lime mayo. Yum!

We used grub hub so I can only comment on my sandwich and garlic fries. Both were really good and lots of meat in my sandwich.

I love Jacks urban fries and their impossible taco salad.Unfortunately the taco salad isn't available anymore and their newest salad, the Flower Child, I absolutely hate. The flavors I do not like and components of the salad I am not a huge fan of. I would give Jacks 5/5 if they still had the salad. The only other vegetarian option is the halloumi sandwich which is ok and the fries.

I love the option to build your own salad! All of the ingredients were fresh and tasty exactly the way you'd like it! The sandwich was alright, tasty but pretty basic. The staff was kind and our food came out quick. The restaurant is located in midtown so parking can be a little difficult to find depending on the time of day. Overall, this is a cute spot and my go to place for salads!

First time trying out Jack's Urban eats!The two of us ordered:-santa fe chicken salad-urban fries-fried chicken sandwich I enjoyed the freshness of the food! Chicken salad was good. I thought the urban fries were a bit underwhelming, and definitely could have been piled up a little more. Fried chicken sandwich was just ok (new on their menu).Will definitely be back to try other items on their menu!Order first and then staff will bring you your food.Street parking only.

Food and service are outstanding. I had it to go and it was delicious. You won't regret ordering food from Jacks
