I very well laid out park in Woodland. Only a few years old, this park provides a variety of play structures, water spray park, and party pads. Well maintained restrooms and ample street parking. Aside from very small trees thus just a little shade, it's a great park. The small trees also provide no wind screen from the north winds.

I love it here! Wasn't feeling too good, and had a case of Mom Guilt on top of it for sitting around with the kiddos. Instead I decided to pack a lunch, load them up and check it out. It was so amazing! They don't have huge shade trees but plenty of little ones around the splash pad to cop a squat and let the kids rage. Highly recommend if you're looking for free kid fun!!

Great local park for kids and dogs.Grass is heavily fertilized and watered, resulting in a thick green rug that is well maintained.Grass had good drainage, allowing us to lie down, without getting wet, a day after rain.We went in winter, when the water park part was not operating, but the playground equipment was sufficient.A bit of trash strewn, likely because it was the day after St. Pattys.I find it interesting that I never see anyone bother pick up trash especially if it isn't theirs. I was raised to leave the place better than when you arrived. Sadly, I think that's lost on the millennials.

Great newer little city park with fun water play for the kids. There are some covered picnic table structures & a nice playground, but the reason we are willing to drive 20 minutes to this park is the water area. My kids run off to get drenched while I sip my iced coffee. I try to remember to bring cash in case the icecream truck comes by. Good clean fun.

Love this park - water feature is great - but remember to keep shoes on your kids. That rubber gets hot if they walk off and so does the pavement. Saw a kids feet melt to the ground and had to have paramedics!

Love this park! This park has two play structures. One for 2-5 year olds. The larger play structure is for 5 and up. There is also a spray ground that operates over the summer. Not sure what time the spray ground turns on but we were there at 11:30am and it was in full swing. There are 3 covered areas with picnic tables and BBQ pits. Other than that, no shaded areas. Bathrooms are close by. I gave this park 4 stars because of the lack of shade but we otherwise loved it!

Really like this place.. It's pretty new and the grass is very well maintained. The trees are young and they have about 4 very large gazebos for lots of shade .. The kids play ground is pretty cool too..

I have two boys four-year-old, and two-year-old. This park is amazing for all ages. They have an outstanding spray ground. It's basically a park that shoots water. It's super cute, looks like large flowers maybe, and a few other things that spray water . The boys said they feel like bugs running around in the water. You know like that movie a bugs life. A wonderful place to go let the kids run their energy out, and cool off in the water. Large grassy area we like to fly kites, and have picnics. Some days get super crowded. They have a few gazebos with picnic tables and barbecues, they tend to be reserved for a party every time we go . Most people don't stay too long because there's absolutely no shade! For that reason I'm only giving four stars. It's a fairly new park and I do see trees planted however it's going to take a few years for them to give shade. I recommend bringing a blankets for the grass, a few chairs to sit on, and an umbrella or something for shade . It's also a great place to ride bikes, or go for a jog. There's a trail that circles the entire park.

I have several questions, can you bbq if you reserve a time for a bday party , is their grills at this park provided already ? Is there a tree big enough to put up a pinata? How do I go about reaching someone to reserve ,/ pay for a party ,??

My son rented a area at this jack Slaven Park with splash area. It is 93 degrees 24 kids and NO water. What the heck! Not having fun. Parents are hot and kids are hot. No phone number to call. I hope my son gets his money back. Oh by the way it was several hundreds of dollars to rent this space. If this is how it is ran. Nobody should ever rent it. I flew in from out state for this party. We could have stayed at home ( my son house) and be cooler with the water hose.
