J Street Liquor

It's not often that I have glowing remarks for a liquor store, but tiny J Street Liquor is well deserving. Between the well-stocked shelves with all the amenities you'd need, the great service and the cleanliness, this is much more than a liquor store. I've stopped in for everything from a snack to lotto tickets and it's always been a good experience!

I've been coming here for at least couple years now I like that they're open late and the staff are very nice I don't drink liquor or wine but I do come here for lottery tickets and power Energy drinks.

Really great local liquor store. The folks who run it are always friendly, prices are clearly marked, and the selection is good.This is where we go to get our lotto tickets every week.They have a vast selection of craft beer, and a decent wine collection- though it's not super upscale, you'll find something better than boxed wine here.Parking is limited. There's a donut shop next door.Love the owners- really awesome, friendly people who are adept as Jedis when it comes to dealing with rowdy drunks walking from Bonn Lair or The Raven in the evening.

Hands down my favorite liquor store. They carry a nice selection with some unique items. Prices are reasonable. Obviously you pay more for convenience. We come here often for snacks or drinks simply because we love supporting the owners. They are hard workers and very personable guys. They have developed a relationship with us and always treat us like friends when we come in. They have ordered things for their store specifically because we've expressed interest in them. We always leave their store in a better mood than when we came in. If you're in the area, I highly recommend giving them your business.

I had a good experience here when I was picking up a couple things. Parking seemed limited though.

Lovely, clean and well stocked liquor store. Unfortunately they did not have exactly what we were looking for, but the very nice man behind the counter pointed us in the right direction! Will definitely be returning now that I know what they have.

These guys are super friendly and carry every kind of liquor you could think about. They also have a huge assortment of wine and beer....not to mention the common household items that come in handy for the locals! These guys are so nice and a great part of the community!

A word to the Guys, Don't hit on the women customers, this place is a well known Lesbian stronghold.

You'll be paying a few dollars more than you would at the Rite Aid down the road, but if you're in need of quick booze, this isn't a bad solution.They've got a good wine selection, a decent beer selection and a bunch of liquor. It's a little more than I'd usually like to spend, plus they charge to run an ATM card, but it is closer for me than the alternatives. They've also got a fascinating selection of energy drinks, including an Extenze energy drink (you know, the penis pill...) and I'm pretty sure I saw a Tupac energy drink once. It's nice to have a quick booze dispensary in the neighborhood, and the guy that's usually running the counter is a nice guy. Nothing special, but nothing to complain about either.

I love this place!! Cute, convenient, and SUPER friendly staff. They also have a surprising wine selection, and it's actually totally reasonable for an independent liquor store!
