J. Neely Johnson Park

J. Neely Johnson Community Garden is actually located within J. Neely Johnson Park itself. The garden is part of the City of Sacramento Parks and Recreation and is located in the Alkali Flat neighborhood . Out of the thirteen community gardens that the City of Sacramento rents out to the public, Neely Johnson garden is one of the smaller community gardens.This particular garden consists of only 10 plots plus 1 raised plot with wheelchair accessibility ! The garden is surrounded by older homes and apartments making this an ideal spot for local residence to garden. Time to break out the shovels and start planting !
