Brunch Goals Achieved! If you're looking for a great spot to have brunch with friends, this place hits all the right notes. Marketed as a go-to brunch destination, it lived up to the hype for our Sunday celebration of a friend's birthday. We were nestled in a cozy corner, and thankfully, it wasn't too loud--perfect for catching up and enjoying the moment. The breakfast selection was solid, and let me just say: espresso martini? Yes, please! The food was top-notch in both quantity and quality. My Belgian waffle was so delicious, I didn't even get a chance to snap a picture before devouring it! But I did get to take a pic of the kids waffle and berries..more than enough and less in price;-PLocated in the heart of Folsom, it's an ideal spot if you want to walk off those indulgent calories--plenty of shopping options nearby. The staff was friendly, and the restaurant itself has a beautiful atmosphere. I can imagine it being lively during a packed evening, but for a brunch vibe, it was just right. Will I be back? Absolutely--next time for dinner! Highly recommend checking this gem out.

Went here for a Christmas party recently. About 20 or so of us. We got seated immediately. Their drinks are great! Their appetizers are AMAZING. The giant pretzel is yummy! The nachos were great and I especially loved the fried pickles. Going to the entree I ordered the short rib papperdelle dish. And it was okay, not a huge fan of it. The mean actually tasted a but gamely for me. The desserts are again. A huge hit. The churro waffle with ice cream was probably the best dessert I have tasted in my life. And I heard the banana cream pie was good as well. Inside is dark and mysterious haha! But plenty of seating. Service was good. No complaints at all. Can't wait to go back!

I want to share a bad service, rude worker, and disappointing food experience. This experience happened at the bar awhile back but just wanted to share. Me and my friend ordered bottomless mimosas and there was only about 30 minutes or so left for bottomless mimosas. Although there was still time left to get mimosas, the bar server was not refilling our glasses. So we paid about $20 for only one or two small flutes. I literally put it in from of his face so he could see. Also, he was rude and said we had to close out because he "had to leave for his other job". Didn't offer for someone else to take our tab because he was "leaving". The food also was not great! I had the chicken and waffles the chicken was overdone. I have not been back to Iron Horse since. I suggest if you want a good brunch to go walk over to the Friends with Benedicts restaurant behind this location and have brunch there.

My fiancé and I had a great time here for the happy hour (M-F 3-6PM). And our server, Emily, was attentive and friendly! Apps are half off and cocktails were $3 off. It wasn't packed when we came in (didn't make a reservation) but it did fill up as it got closer to 6, so keep that in mind. + HH Ahi poke nachos (sweet onions, spicy soy, nori, avocado, wasabi cream, sriracha mayonnaise, tomatoes, crispy wonton chips): Massive portion of chips but not a lot of poke/avocados - worth for the HH price. Great snack for drinking.$8.95+ HH pickles and onions: massive portion. We couldn't even finish half. Comes with creole mayo which was yummy. Would like ranch with this maybe as well/more dip options! Note: it's a very light batter, so depends if that's your vibe or not. Think more pickles/onions than batter, they're also pretty big pieces, instead of individual onion rings. Yummy regardless, great for sharing and drinking.$5.75+ HH giant pretzel: best app out of the ones we got - massive, fresh pretzel with sriracha cream cheese, honey ground mustard. Honey mustard was great, but sriracha cream cheese was kind of bland. Would prefer a stronger flavored cream cheese (more sriracha forward/ garlic) or maybe house ranch. $6.75+Cocktails: we got 4 drinks to try between the two of us - Day dreaming (Grey Goose Pear vodka, peach liqueur, lemon juice, vanilla and simple syrup, dehydrated pear): my personal favorite! Great pear cocktail if you like pear. Not too sweet, but the vodka isn't overpowering. Love this one. Mustang Sally (Tito's vodka, Monin Hibiscus syrup, raspberry syrup, pineapplejuice, lemon juice, brown sugar, raspberry: personally, I wasn't a fan, it tasted kind of like cough syrup to me but my fiancé loved it. If you like mixed berry flavored candies, you'll like this. This one leans on the sweet side.Saddle up (Bacardi 4 rum, Bacardi Dragonberry rum, guava puree, lemon juice, simple syrup, cayenne pepper, sweet and spicy sugar rim): this one was probably our least favorite of the four only because you cannot taste the guava puree whatsoever. We thought the guava would be stronger, but you mostly just taste the spice, so this drink leans more on the spicy cocktail side - think jalapeño margs. Iron lady (Skyy Blood Orange vodka, Pallini limoncello, Aperol, simple syrup, lemon juice): I really liked this one. Admittedly, it was very sweet comparatively, so keep that mind. It tastes like orange starbursts, but I definitely still felt the vodka. $10.50 each (this price is the HH price - $3 price off normal)*Do note that my fiancé and I both like fruity cocktails, so these all mostly really hit the spot.*We had a great experience, and we loved the cocktails primarily. Would definitely be back, especially for happy hour. We would probably try new appetizers next time, but we would get the pretzel again.

Stopped by on the way home from camping. We took the fur baby and ate in the nice patio area. They have huge TVs on the patio and a large amount of seating, the bathroom and bar area inside is nice with plenty of seating inside as well. The service was good. The waitresses didn't mind working around our dog as she moved from lying on one side of the table to the other. The food was good. The Korean chicken came with a bunch of fresh sliced jalapeños. The fried chicken and pancakes were good, but the pancakes were heavier and less fluffy than I would have liked. The bourbon syrup was a nice change to the typical maple syrup. The Bloody Mary was really good. Nice house-made mix.

We came here to use a resy credit since it eas the only place in Folsom. The service was attentive and quite quick. For an appetizer we got fried pickles and onions. They were quite salty and didnt have much flavor. They were also greasier than other fried foods. The salmon salad was refreshing and tasty, but the pizza was quite salty. For the price we probably wont come back but we could have just gotten a bad draw. The restaurant also looks quite nice.

Perfect spot for a birthday brunch! The food and service is great and everything was delicious. The French toast was my favorite with fruit and powdered sugar. It paired well with the bacon on the side. Keep in mind bacon and eggs is a separate side order as the meals are like al la carte. Price is reasonable tho and would return again

First time here in Folsom been to the one Downtown. We went here for Happy Hour on a Thursday night. Pretty busy but still have a lot of space and we got seated right away. Love that the outdoor seating has a fireplace perfect for a group get together. All Happy Hour appetizers were 50% off such a great deal! We ordered the Garlic Shrimp Pizza it's more of a flat bread it's pretty good with Parmesan sauce I love the bread. We got the Tuna Poke Nachos this was a tower of crispy wonton chips topped with tuna, spicy soy, avocado it was yummy and definitely shareable! We also ordered some IPA beers Peach and Mango Hazy was pretty good! Our server was nice and she constantly check on us if we needed anything. We would definitely be back again and try more in their menu! Check out their Happy hour from 3-6 pm.

Made reservations for Thursday night, not busy at all.The restaurant is really dark & rustic. If you aren't in a normal both the seating sucks. They have these half booths and 3 people can squeeze in to it.You are right next to other patrons so you can hear every word.Dinners ordered-Pizza margarita,Turkey sandwich and Salmon burger and side salad. My dinner,Margarita pizza, wasn't great.Lots of cheese no tomato sauce. It was more like a flatbread. My side salad was good.My husband loved his beer and thought Salmon burger was good.My mom liked her Turkey sandwhich. We thought restaurant was just OK probably won't come back. The food options didn't really appeal to me.The service was great

Went to celebrate my daughter's bday this past weekend. I called 5 mins before we got to the restaurant & for a party of 7 they said it was a 20 min wait for inside. When we got there somehow it went to an hour wait if we wanted to sit inside. The food is overpriced for the portions they give you & lack a quality of sides. The only reason I'm giving it 3 stars is because our server was great. However, when they brought out the dessert we ordered for her bday, they didn't even wish her a happy bday. I wouldn't necessarily come back.
