Ione Plaza Market

Visited ione today and my friends introduced me to the deli here. The hot bbq beef sandwich was delicious. It was simple and delicious.

Very patient, accommodating and helpful staff. Last weekend I was on a scavenger hunt where I had to buy exactly $18.49 worth of groceries. I told my cashier this and asked if I could see the total cost of my groceries before paying. She was very accommodating and when I didn't have the right amount she let me continue shopping. I found the right items and went through the checkout again, helped by a different cashier. The items rang up with a different price than what was posted on the shelf and they were very helpfulin checking the price and adjusting the total. I was able to complete that item on my scavenger hunt quickly. Thank you Ione Plaza Market!

Can't believe nobody has ever reviewed this place, which is kind of a little gem in its own way. They have the best selection of Spann sugar free (and other) cookies and for such a small grocery store a good selection of beer for which they don't overcharge, for a change in this county, and a good sized deli, decent produce and all the necessaries. We like it and go there several times a month whenever we visit the nearby Chinese restaurant, which we seem to do with disgusting regularity these days.

I'm so disappointed with my service today. I usually am in love with their sandwiches. They are always amazing with awesome customer service. Today we were met with a lady that couldn't care less to be there. She was very short and didn't seem to listen much at what we were saying. Also for the food we got. There was NOTHING on there.... I tried calling and no one answered the phone. I really expected more....

It's a little expensive but in a pinch they are great!!! Their fresh baked French bread is the best around.

The amount of rude that comes from the older lady cashier is unreal. I asked every time how are you and no response. Then yesterday after slamming our soda in the bag, I asked if everything was ok. She then proceeds to tell the lady behind me that I'm rude. She then call a the manager over and after I explain the rudeness..... THEY BOTH LAUGH AND TALK ABOUT ME BEFORE I EVEN WALKED OUT. We love this place but that was the last time we will be back. There goes hundreds of dollars a month!!

We are so lucky to have this wonderful market here in Ione..They have a great selection of fresh vegetables and fruits. Lately a huge selection of cookies and candies...fresh donuts in the morning, fresh flowers and the deliand the staff are wonderful...oh!! and fresh just out of the oven bread. Everything you could possible want and more so close to home. People call our hometown market a little gem and I agree.

Love this grocery store. The employees are very friendly and helpful. For the size of the store they have a good selection of just about anything you could need. And the wine selection is fantastic with prices better than the larger grocery chains in nearby Jackson. Then there is the deli! The sandwiches are excellent and they have a good selection of deli salads and meats and cheses.

Glad we have them! Alway like a little market. The deli is really amazing. Wonderful people too!
