AMAZING VENUE! What a gem of a spot! I rented this venue for my 40th birthday inviting 65 friends and family, along with a caterer and DJ. The space was perfect in every way, clean, open, bright, indoor/outdoor space, everyone was so impressed with the ambiance and I greatly appreciated how flexible and professional they were to work with. I cannot more highly recommend this venue for your next Davis gathering!

It's a wonderful place to rent out rooms for an event, small or big. There's the community room, lounge and Hagan room available; just call for information and details. With renting the place out, there's also a large kitchen with fridge, stoves and other things that are available (just as long as things are kept clean and put back). Language classes are taught here by fluent speakers/teachers and membership with the I house will allow you to take any class you like (dance classes included too along with other event). There's storytelling for younger children each month and gathers for others weekly. Many other events happen weekly, just check on their website to see what's available and interests you :] Every year, the International House puts on the International Festival and there are many activities and performances. It's clear that everyone there is very passionate about their work and helping people out. Just come and check this place you, I'm sure you won't be disappointed. This place is just run by a few people so they can be stretched pretty thin. Don't hesitate to leave message and they'll get back to you as soon as they can. There are many volunteer opportunities here too!Final Thoughts: Very nice place to study with comfy chairs :]

Amazing place. A $30 membership (student rate) gets you access to loads here (and admittedly I didn't even pay that for the first few months I was there - *shame*). Once I live closer next year I'll be going to more than just the morning Tai Chi - which is all that I've done so far (Mike is awesome).
