I have been golfing at Indian Creek since 2015 and love the course and the people. BUT, this course has fallen into dreadful condition. There are no 'greens' anymore. I don't know what they are covered with, but it is not grass, just a bunch of bumps and holes. The fairways are covered with weeds and duck poo. Forget finding your ball if you hit into the rough. They have let the weeds grow very tall. At least three holes (was there May 21, 2024) had water hoses running horizontally across them.I am a very average golfer, yet felt almost insulted by the conditions. If you are above average golfer, you will not be able to improve your game at this course. Please, Indian Creek, improve the conditions; I do want to play there some time this summer. Please do something!

Am I going to be flying out to this course to play its immaculate greens and fairways? No. It is well maintained for the small 9 hole beginner friendly course that it is. Short fairways that provide fun for beginners and intermediate golfers. Additionally, the rates for this course are criminally low! For beginner golfers or golfers who are on a budget that do not want to be crowded between two parties that think they're scratch golfers on the tour for 5 hours, this course is for you. I have never felt rushed, always enjoyed my partners, and can get through all 9 holes in a few hours. However the reason Indian Creek has been a lifelong favorite of mine is the staff and customers that regularly keep this course alive. Specifically, Paul in the clubhouse went above and beyond to help me when I experienced heat exhaustion the other day. I was sitting with my party of 3 on the first tee when Paul noticed me needing to sit down in the tee box. He came rushing out and made sure I was ok, drove me back to my car in a golf cart and halted all clubhouse activity until I could confirm I was OK. This may not matter to a lot of people, but I will always be thankful to Paul for showing genuine concern and refunding the round to us for my error in judgement with the weather. This type of hospitality is routine here, and can be seen by those working and their genuine interest when they ask you how your day is going. As long as this course exists, I will continue using it.

It's been six years since my first review of Indian Creek Country Club, and I need to update my stars from four to five because I LOVE playing here. It just feels like home. Now, my husband and I know to buy a bucket of driving range balls to warm up before we play 9 holes with his family. I've now purchased golf balls from the pro shop, and the staff are so friendly and recognize us as regulars even though my husband and I only play 3x a year. His parents play here, monthly, and they give us the senior discount when we pay for family rounds. The grounds continue to be well-kept and the prices continue to be reasonable. I'm generally athletic, but still below-average as a golfer, so I appreciate that it's a safe place to practice my game here.

Oh wow. Played this course today. Save your money! Can't believe they charge $26 for a 9 hole here. Awful landscaping, awful greens and awful pace. Do not play here.

Where else can you have this much fun for 14 bucks? Greens and fairways. Driving range works well

This short course is located in Loomis, CA not far from where I now reside. While I normally play at Sun City or somewhere in Sacramento, I come here once in a while to hit some balls or to get a quick 9 holes in when time is short. This is definitely not a fancy place, but ... it is the least expensive place in the area to get a bucket of balls and use the driving range or (for that matter) to play golf. The staff is consistently friendly and accommodating. The marshals do a reason job of keeping things moving, however, it can be pretty slow at times. My review today, however, is not about the golf course per se. I am writing about the golf course café - the "Club 9 Grill". In the past, my only experience with this establishment was to grab a quick beer or soda. However, my lady and I tried it for lunch recently and enjoyed the experience. Again, not a fancy place but better food than one might expect. They say that they pride themselves in using fresh local ingredients.I ordered a red wine, my partner selected white .... We both opted for salad as we were planning a big meal latter. After seeing an order of onion rings go by, we added some "fried rings" to our lunch. Take a look at the pictures ..... Everything tasted surprisingly good. This was not the kind of place you would expect to serve a really fresh and tasty salad. Of course, the onion rings were marvelous.

This golf course is unfortunately pretty horrible. Played here on a Sunday morning and the tee boxes are all overgrown, and the greens looked like they hadn't been cut in three or four days. In addition, there were multiple greens that had bare patches of dirt on them. Lastly, having to pay $40 for nine holes at a golf course in this condition is a complete waste of money. Don't go here if you want to actually play golf.

Paul in the pro shop was a hero today. Shortly after we teed off on the first hole, one person in our party suffered heat exhaustion and went to the ground. Paul, ever observant, saw that there was trouble and came out with a power cart to assist us getting the victim back to our car. He offered us a refund on our round, even though we did not ask. We will be back for sure, but maybe on a cooler day!
