Th food of my people!! DERKA DERKA!! I can said this Indian oven is not tarible. My go too order samosas with no stuffing and the plain rice and peas. India Oven - AuburnWe were looking for a nicer lunch venue in the Auburn area and found the highly ranked India Oven. The restaurant was not busy at lunchtime. They have the same lunch and dinner menu. Our server mentioned that they are much busier during dinner time. The menu selection is extensive. We did not order a starter but rather two main courses and importantly, Naan Bread. The main courses we ordered were the Tandoori Chicken and the Chicken Biryani. At some Indian restaurants the tandoori dishes can be overcooked and dry. India Oven prepared the chicken perfectly. It was moist and came with two sauces. The Biryani was also excellent. Both main courses had generous portions. Overall, a wonderful choice for lunch or dinner.

Always excellent. Authentic food, friendly service. Love tandoori chicken, all curries are also very good.

The place is very nice inside. Service was ok, we received our naan pretty late in the meal but it was delicious. We got the buffet and that was probably our mistake. The tandoori chicken was very dry. The butter chicken was ok along with the lentils, some of the spaces were empty. One filled with lettuce, one with pineapple. We decided, if we go back we are going to try the menu instead. Left very disappointed in our lunch. Just not the selection or nice and hot tasty food.

GUYS- Auburn finally has a restaurant that is Indian and can compete with the deliciousness of flamming burrito and auburn thai garden! YOU have to try it! Kids loved it- Mango lamb- Butter Chicken -Tandoori Chicken- garlic Naan! ask for it mild- it's got a zipplus they have a regular kids menu- like chicken nuggets and Naan grilled cheese....GLUTEN FREE OPTIONS- all the curry- and Basmati rice The remodel is beautiful- Love the interior decorating! It's clean-- very clean! glass cups- and white napkins!The service was so kind and helpful and gave me wonderful gluten free options and always with a smile! The people are just sweet! So thankful for this place! If you haven't tried this place you are missing out- Love to see you there- We will be back!

Love this place very happy they have an Auburn location now. Quality and service is excellent.

We had reservations Friday at 7pm. We were seated right away. It wasn't that busy. We ordered chicken tikka masala, Punjabi goat curry, lamb saag masala, pickles (weird taste), and garlic naan. Some of naans bottom were so burnt so we sent 2 pieces back and they remade a whole naan, but a couple of pieces were still burnt. Fluffy naan. The curries were good , but could use more protein. There were so much of the sauces leftover. They were inconsistent with their spice level. Mild was a medium and medium was a mild. Staff were nice and attentive. Parking lot shared with other businesses.

I recommend both locations.Our Go-To from the menu:Starters:-Fish Amritsari(Fish Pakora) = Fried Fish(We get it spicy) We also like to add this to our Tikka Masala-Adds more "Meat" to our meal ;DMain Course-Vegetable Biryani (Indian Vegan fried rice w/Tofu)-We get it spicy)-Shrimp Tikka Massala( We get it Spicy)-Chicken Tikka Massala(We get it Spicy) -Tikka Massala comes with basmati rice(white rice)-Garlic NaanWe definitely will have leftovers and have more delicious meals with this order.

Went here for the lunch buffet, was not disappointed. The food was good but not sure if it is rotated for more selection each day. Service was very friendly and welcoming, nice seating area too. I went while the buffet was half the price so it was a great deal!
