Firstly, they're open Christmas. It was delicious. We did buffet (now open til 3pm for when I forget to eat til 1:30- which is most days tbh). When we got there, I was passed with checking the buffet for a vegetarian items for a friend and her kiddo so we could coax the kiddo to wear her new Elsa outfit to get some Christmas lunch. Check check check on the veg options- not just channi (love her-but we also love variety) there was a tofu matar that was so delicious but I'm allergic to tofu, so I steered clear of the vegan paneer cubes, but I'm really glad I tried it because it was particularly tasty! Here's the real review: Friends four year old arrive- the restaurant has already prepared soap, Pierre specifically for the child because I mentioned that they would be coming if there was paneer. I snuck a little taste and it was complex, textually lovely and SO friggin thoughtful that they made it special for kiddo. This child is someone who eats at seek temple at least once a week so her gauge of Indian food is expert level. As soon as she started eating, she exclaimed to our friend "mommy my mouth is dancing". Boom. This is mouth dancing delicious food, the service are stellar, and it's well-priced. Ngl I was attached to the Indian restaurant in the same space that moved but changes are good, y'all!

Came here on a Friday afternoon around 1130 and it wasn't busy. The restaurant isn't big so expect limited seating. It's buffet time and the offerings were okay. The buffet offered Tandoori Chicken, Chicken Curry, chana masala, fish pakora, Saag, and a few more. The Tandoori chicken was very limited as it wasn't filled often. I liked the saag and the chana masala. They offered naan as well as garlic naan which is awesome. The food was okay and price was reasonable. Overall, it's decent and I would come back again. Pros: Reasonable, decent, buffetCons: Parking, Tandoori Chicken refillStars: 3.75Notes: The buffet was 20 bucks per person

Came here for the Indian lunch buffet. .The buffet had a nice selection of vegeterian options. Such as veggie korma, saag, chick pea curry, lentil curry, fried veggie pakora, salad bar. .For the meat options, butter chicken, curry chicken, and tandoori grilled chicken..Saag was good. It had a nice consistent sauce and it had a nice mild flavor..Veggie korma - creamy and flavorful. It was like my to go to dip even over the butter and curry chicken sauce. I'm a meat eater so it says the sauce was bussing for a veggie option. .Tandoori chicken - thick marination with the masala which us red. It was a little on the salter side. But the chicken drum stick was grilled to perfection. .Salad- it was mixed already. But without the dressing so you can add your own dressing. .Garlic nann- I don't usually eat nann much but this was pleasing to the eyes and camera. It was actually really fresh and good. Like authentic. .Overall it's a hole in the wall type of Indian food lunch buffet. I believe they serve dinner buffet as well when I kind of looked at the sign. The buffet was 20 bucks per person. It was an experience for lunch buffet. I would come back again. Hope this review helps and thanks for reading. Follow me for more and rate the review. Have a yelptastic day!

They offer a weekday lunch buffet. It cost $19.99. The buffet items are plentiful. There are items in the buffet that are stand outs (OMG flavorful) and a few that could be with minor recexecution tweaks. As part of the buffet, they also serve fresh baked naan to your table. Piping hot. Ohhh the naan is fantastic. Beautiful crisp edges, puffed crust and soft pillowy inside. Mmm. The last time I was there, the person that was the host was fantastic. He was welcoming with a big bright personality and smile.I had a masala dosa here a few months ago. The dosa and chutneys were superb. Delicious. The lunch buffet will do in a pinch, it's your average buffet. You can view the buffet prior to making a decision to dine there.

Wow! Amazing Indian food. Honestly the best I've ever had. Ordered the chicken tikki masala, sang paneer, and the garlic Naan. It was all amazing! Service was good too. Would highly recommend this place and hope it thrives!

We ordered the butter chicken, mutter paneer, garlic naan, and veg rice pilaf, and were impressed I'm by the quality of the food. Everything tasted fresh and cooked well. The only part that was disappointing was the fact that curries were too sweet. :( I've had a lot of butter chicken and I know some times they're on the sweeter side, sometimes they are more tangy, and sometimes they are more creamy and buttery. But this one was just way too sweet for me. Aside from that, I felt the quality was pretty good.

A good lunch buffet. Aside from traditional Indian cuisine such as Tandoori Chicken, Chicken Curry, there's chana masala, fish pakora, and mutter paneer. New dishes appear from time-to-time. Buffet is served with a choice of garlic or regular naan.

This might be the best Indian food in downtown Sacramento. The portions are generous. We thought we ordered for 3 but ended up with almost 3 additional servings. The food is rich with butter or oil.The naans were great. Fresh and plenty. Butter chicken and palak paneer were excellent. The side dishes (chickpea curry and lentil curry) were also very good. The only thing I disliked was gulab jumam.. maybe the worst one I've had.. Maybe it came from a can? It was so hard and stale (how's that possible when it's soaked in syrup..)Food was really excellent. I will go back to try the other items and maybe the buffet one day!
