the matt cain is very good. solid service and some of the best sandwiches around. my 13 year old loved it.

When I was jonesing for a sandwich, I always have to stop by Ike's. This is one of my favorite sandwich spots in the Sac area. I always order the Nacho Boy and the Pence something lol. I always get them on Dutch crunch it's always to fresh and delicious. I have the app so I love to collect point for future purchases. I'm always here at least one a month to get my Ike's fix.The staff is always so friendly especially the manager he is awesome! There is plenty of seating inside for customers to dine in as well as a couple seats outdoors. I will say the sandwiches are a little on the pricey side, but it's so worth it.

Love, love love this place! We've tried the sandwiches on three separate occasions and they are consistently delicious and hit the spot each and every single time. The menu has various options to choose from to help accommodate the "meat lovers," ppl who follow the eating preference of enjoying only halal meats to vegetarians. The service has been consistently good where the bread was fresh and perfectly toasted, and the ingredients were of the highest quality. Each bite was a delightful explosion of flavors. Price to portion size is definitely justified and worth it!Whether you're a local or just passing through, do yourself a favor and stop by - you won't be disappointed! Five stars all the way!

I've been here many times since they opened and the food is always great! I get the Madison Bumgarner. The Dutch bread is SO good. Be prepared for a big sandwich, the portions are big. My only complaints are 1) that it is always freezing inside. My husband and I joke that we need to bring coats when we plan to eat there. And 2) the chip selection isn't great. They only carry one brand and none of the flavors are that good.

What did we love about Ike's Love & Sandwiches? EVERYTHING!I took my sister to her appointment next door, and while she was there, my handsome man, little handsome man, and I decided to give Ike's a try. When we walked in, the art in the wall was insanely awesome. Self portraits of Ike! There is a Wall of Fame as you walk towards the back! Everybody loves Ike's Love & Sandwiches! When we ordered, the girl at the counter was so nice and patient. They have so many sandwiches to choose from (there is only one size available). We decided to go with the Matt Cain Sandwich, which has Turkey, Roast Beef, Salami, Godfather Sauce, and provolone cheese with tomatoes and lettuce on Dutch crunch bread and a medium drink (the drink fountain is located around the left side). We only waited about 5 minutes when our order was ready. It came out warm to the perfect temperature a warm sandwich should be! The bread was so fresh and soft! I am a sandwich connoisseur... and before tasting this sandwich, it was oozing perfection. The way it looked, smelled... PERFECTION! So, how did it taste? If this sandwich could've been more perfect, we would've ordered this sandwich along with another to try two perfect sandwiches! The bread was warm and soft. The roast beef and turkey on top were so delicious with the melted provolone... the GODFATHER SAUCE WAS IMMACULATE! The perfect amount of sauce was on there because it left me craving more! If anyone wants to message me their favorites, please do! I can't wait to go back and try another one of Ike's masterpieces. From one sandwich connoisseur to another... BRAVO!

I've always been a fan of "Ike's Sandwiches" even way back when I had the chance to visit their very first location tucked in the Castro neighborhood of San Francisco back in the mid-2000's. It was then that put their famous "Dutch Crunch" bread on the map for many of their future sandwich shops that opened. Since then, they've expanded to an impressive 80 locations across 6 states. The location I am focusing on is in the city of Roseville, CA which is roughly 15 miles east of Sacramento. Located at 1132 Galleria Blvd. Ste 120, (and tucked next to a "Chipotle" and "Arigato Sushi"), this Ike's has been in operation since July 2023.The interior layout of the Roseville location is quite spacious as it can accommodate a generous number of customers. With the vast number of tables, I don't see this place ever filling up except for maybe a busy lunch rush. Additionally, they offer a self-serve fountain drink station as well as their specialty beverages which include lemonade, unsweetened black tea, mandarin Cardamom, and hibiscus. There is also an area that sells "Zapp's" potato chips as well as bottled water and drinks. Finally, they offer two restrooms and a small outdoor dining area to complete the layout.Since I am no stranger to their menu (as I've been to quite a bit of their Bay Area restaurants), I already had a general idea of what to order. All of their sandwiches are given unique names that are associated with a public figure (athlete, actor, poet, etc). For instance, these names vary from "Matt Cain", "Robin Williams", "Little Mermaid", and many more. I ended up ordering the "118 - Da Vinci" which offers a generous amount of turkey, ham, salami, Italian dressing, and provolone on their soft French bread. I also opted for lettuce, tomatoes, red onions and Ike's famous "Dirty Sauce". This sauce has a mix of spicy garlic, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, and hints of Worcestershire and Sriracha sauces.I ended up coming here during the afternoon of Friday 11/3/2023 at around 2:10pm which was after the lunch rush. There were about 3 employees working at the time as they took my order in less than a minute while I got my sandwich in less than 10 minutes. Total price for the sandwich, bag of chips, and medium drink came to around $21 (including tax). Overall, the taste, texture, and filling are why I've always been a fan of their sandwiches. And that Dirty Sauce is arguably one of the best fillings out there. With that said and done, I am giving the Roseville "Ike's Love & Sandwiches" a unanimous five-star review.

After visiting this location on 1/19 to pick up sandwiches, my husband and I both became violently ill 12 hours later. Nothing else changed in our diet and we were sick within minutes of each other. Will not be returning to Ike's ever again, clearly they need to review their hand hygiene guidelines as well as the cleanliness of their machinery.

First time here, seems like a popular place. It's just a sandwich but it's the sauce that makes it pretty good. I noticed the same sauce is spread with other sandwiches too but I may be wrong. Bread is lightly toasted and crunchy and must be eaten immediately. I would return and check out other stuff on the menu

Had to get Ike's while up in NorCal to represent the Bay Area! I needed a quick meal and this was just the spot. I ordered a sandwich with turkey, ham, cheese, vinaigrette, and I think salami? The menu items are so overwhelming, and I never can remember what I ordered before, but I'm always satisfied!The sandwiches are huge, so don't be too freaked out by the 1,500ish calories of each listed out. Half is easily enough, if you can stop at half that is. Quick, tasty, toasted, and fresh. What more do you really need in a sandwich?
