Worst bento box I have ever had in the past 20 years. Not sure if the chicken was chicken. They have high prices but will not give a customer a water cup. Plus they ask for a card or money but charge you more if you use a card without telling. The bento box comes with salad but no dressing. As for me this was my first and last time.

This is your typical, very basic, Japanese "fast food" food court style of food. I ordered the Sesame chicken bento, which was prepared fairly quick. What I liked in this whole set was actually just the chicken as it came out hot, and just fried...and it was pretty crispy and tasty. Not too bad!But I felt there was too much rice (maybe because I'm not a huge rice eater), and the sushi was just a very simple "California roll" mixed crabmeat with avocado - which was not very wow for the price.I found it strange that this outlet was selling fries too! Maybe...it's not so Japanese lol. I mean, it is what it is, does the job for the rating I've given. The restaurant is located at quite a nice mall, at a food court which is not too crowded on a weekday.

This isn't the first place I would think of if I want to eat sushi. I prefer your traditional, simple, fresh good quality raw fish with well made rice without all the sauce. My family happened to stop by Arden Mall, craving for sushi, but had no time, so we end up ordering here. The menu has an array of option which consists of Japanese and Korean style food. We ordered the following:1. Spicy Jimmy Roll2. Cherry Blossom Roll3. Udon Vegetable Noodles w/TempuraThe rolls were decent, but it was drenched in sauce. Overly sweet for me, but I get it, it appeals to the mass. Before I developed more refined sushi/sashimi/nigiri flavor profile, I liked a roll with all that sauce and more. Next time, I'll ask them to put the sauce on the side or no sauce at all. Otherwise, the fish and roll itself wasn't bad. Fish and rice ratio and amount of fish used was good, price is reasonable. The Udon Noodles wasn't the best, but it is an easy option for little kids who love their noodles. Tempura was nice and crispy. The cashier who took my order was friendly, helpful, and great! For being a fast mall court food option, I'm glad Ichiban Sushi is there and wouldn't mind coming back again. It is convenient and good for kids.Tip: when ordering rolls, ask for sauce on the side.

I honestly never tried a Korean corn dog before this place and I can say on the first try they messed up my order which was fairly simple so that was a bummer instead of giving me half beef and mozzarella they gave all mozzarella and one regular beef though the first one was supposed to be half and half so the worker had to ask the boss what to do when it's very simple take the one back that you guys messed up on and make it right since I did pay money for what I specifically wanted. Lastly what really made me cringe is they don't give free refills you have to pay 75 cents per fill which is a bit ridiculous for all the money you spend here I should get at least a second refill free to top that off they also don't give out water cups talk about hospitality. I would recommend this place if you're truly interested in trying Korean corn dogs otherwise make them yourself.

Experienced this place as a need to eat location at the mall; deviating from the normal stuff. It was a treat to find a place that had some original and very fresh food that fed the senses and the taste buds weren't left out by no means. The udon and tempura combo I ordered was flavorful, a ton of food, tempura everything was amazing. And for $12? A steal for what you got!My only issue - speed of preparation. Not sure if this was typical or if standard preparation time, but it seemed a bit long for not too many orders ahead of me. I'll check them out again soon and see if the experience is the same. All the same... for a "mall spot," impressive!!!

Okay im beginning to doubt the legitimacy of these other 4-5 star reviews. First of all, if you're eating at a SUSHI place and ONLY eating california rolls, chicken teriyaki, and Ramen, your review holds no weight. You need to eat the ACTUAL SUSHI and then tell your story.I ordered the rainbow roll and the Rock n Roll. I knew ordering fish in the mall was a bad idea... but I'm an idiot. The funny thing is, I couldnt even tell if the fish was bad or not..because there was SO. MUCH. SAUCE. like is that the new strategy? Cover up bad fish by bombarding it with sauce? This was the rainbow roll. The Rock n roll also had sauce, but at least the flavor was better and didnt make it seem like im eating a McChicken Roll from a Japanese McDonalds. The ONLY reason they don't get 1 star is because it was quick and the service wasn't terrible.

I honestly don't know how this place stays open. The food really is terrible. It's like they don't care what they're serving at all.We decided to eat at the food court today since it's been ages and we made the wrong decision to eat at this place. We ordered the spicy pork bulgogi and beef bulgogi bowls. I wish I had taken a picture of these to post on here as a warning to others, as they were just so sad. They tasted like frozen microwaved rice bowls. Both meats were extremely dry, had no flavor, and tasted old. The taste and texture felt like they braised the crap out of the meat weeks ago and froze the stuff they couldn't sell, only to reheat it later. The majority of the bowls were mainly rice (which was soggy) and some noodles (which were also dry and did not taste fresh). We ate a bit because we both didn't want to waste food, but left feeling like it was just a waste of $30. I can't say anything bad about the service because the workers were nice. I just wish the owners cared more about what they're selling to people. So please, don't waste your money here. Walk a few feet over and get something else instead.

Waited too long for what's mid food. The rice bowls (mine specifically the pork bulgogi) just lacks flavor and the portion sizes aren't balanced. The Korean corn dog is really good though.

Our food took forever to be made. The fries were so cold! The tempura was not fried all the way & they did not give you any dipping sauce.Save your money & go some place else!
